Just 4 Girls Braids Children Salon

I have taken my daughter to 3 appointments. The first two times were completed by Alisha. My 2 year olds hair was very neat and fresh looking. The last time appointment, which was for her birthday party, her hair look old and like she got it done last week. I was so dissatisfied and I called to let the owner know. I left my number several time because I wanted to send her pictures. She never returned my call. I told the receptionist I don’t want a free hair style or anything in return. They offered for her to come on the same day, but her party was a couple of hours late and I didn’t have the time or did I want my toddler to go back. The stylist (Ms. Yasmeen) complained about my daughter’s behavior, but her squirming didn’t have any impact on Alisha. Also that want little girls of all ages do and I feel a salon just for little girls should be used to it. Also I have specific direction of how I wanted her hair and she didn’t do it. I was so disappointed and in tears because I wanted my daughter to look her absolute best for her birthday. I wanted her style to have the fresh and neat look, but that didn’t happen.

My daughter was a client at the shop for over 2 yrs. In the beginning I was always pleased with their services & my daughters hair. However my last 2 visits were terrible! When we arrived we were not greeted by anyone, which to me is very unpleasant. The girl who was braiding my daughters hair spent more time talking then braiding which caused us to be there for 3 hrs very annoying. The last time we had an appt. I was called to see if I could bring my daughter @ 4:30 instead of 6. I left work early to bring her only to sit for 2 hours. The girl braiding her hair said she had a late client that she took and it would only be 45 minutes. I was very upset 1 I left work early to bring her after being called to come earlier, 2 I sat for 2 hrs after the appt time until she started my childs hair, 3 I travel entirely to far to wait 2 hrs to get serviced & another 2 for my daughters hair on a school night. Needless to say I haven’t been back, I had to find a new braider for my daughter.

I am so pleased at the services I received here. The shop is small but the expertise and professionalism here is outstanding. There’s a small play area for the girls to play at. We made an appointment for as soon as they open which was 9 am and when they open they got started on my daughter’s hair right away. I felt comfortable enough to leave her there to run some errands. 45 min after I had left they receptionist called me and said my daughter’s hair had been completed. I will definitely be taking my daughter back to get her hair done again.

The stylist are fast and do a great job on my daughter’s hair. This is a great kid friendly salon.
