Terrible service! Had the chicken tacos and they were dry with a few chips thrown on the plate. Lots of tvs and good beer selection if you are looking for sports and beer but I would sit at the bar and stay away from the food.

A very spacious and clean restaurants is a plus. I ordered their fried chicken salad which is always the best of both worlds. It was good. I can’t remember our server but she was not horrendous so that’s good.

Had drinks after work with a friend. We ordered some spicy cheese dip, she had a glass of white wine, and I had a Cosmo. It was good, but quite average. It’s an ok spot for after work drinks.

My friend and I decided to stop by here after spending the day at the kirkwood festival. The food was great and fresh too! The reason they are getting three stars instead of five is because of our waiter. He started off by leaving us unattended for twenty minutes. Then came over to get our drinks and didn’t even ask us if we were ready to order. I stopped him from walking away and told him I would like an appetizer. He left us again and came back and said«did y’all figure out what you wanted to eat yet?» And I was just shocked at this point but I was in a good mood and placed our order. When he brought our water out he threw the straws on the table and walked away. I didn’t ask to speak to anyone because he seemed to be having a rough day but that’s no excuse in this business. Overall come for the food but don’t expect great service. If u get who I had u will regret going.

Food is good. Tons of tvs. Like the atmosphere. Would give a 5 star rating except for the service we have had, details below. Both times we’ve been here we’ve had Zack as our server and he’s terrible. Not personable, stands around and talks to his buddies that are in as customers, the manager had to take our drink order and when he finally comes over after over 15 minutes just says«what do you want to eat.» Extremely slow and obviously doesn’t care about his job or the customers. If you’re told Zack is your server politely ask for someone else.

My brother was coming into town and we like to try new food spots. I found the deal on Scoutmob for 2 drinks(beer or wine), 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. EXCELLENT deal. Our server Chris was super nice and great. My brother ordered beer and I order wine. We decided upon the cheese dip with jalapeño purée. It was a little cold, but good. The purée added a nice kick to dip. It also came with salsa. My brother likes to try the hottest wings a restaurants offered– so he went for the JEt Fuel. Nice size wings. The sauce was good with a nice kick. Hand cut fries that were awesome. I decided on the Humperdink– that was suggested by Chris. Cheeseburger topped with pulled pork and an onion ring. It left me full and satisfied. We were unable to eat the dessert but we got the crème brûlée cheesecake to take home. A hidden jewel that offered great food, at an excellent price with friendly service. I will be back.

Nice little bar in the Edgewood area. One of those places that has a decent beer selection and menu. The food is not great or bad, just what I would call«good old bar food.» The interior for some reason has a slightly cramped feeling due to the very large tables that are somewhat awkwardly placed, but the overall atmosphere in the bar is good. Servers were very attentive and knowledgable regarding the menu. They also have darts upstairs, and I believe I caught a glimpse of a Golden Tee Arcade! Even thought I went with 3 stars for this place, I would recommend it to someone that is looking for a bar to grab a beer and some food in the Edgewood area.

Parking was a bit of a challenge but the food was worth it. It’s a very family friendly place before 9pm after that it’s more of a pub where he bar and the brews are the main attraction. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The BLT with egg was AMAZING. I’ll be back for sure

I came here with my girlfriend on a Sunday night in December. We sat on the patio(yes it was almost 70 degrees) by the street and our waitress(Rachel) came out promptly and was very polite. We just ordered drinks but they were on point! Rachel was sad that we didn’t order food but we still tipped well(my gf is a waitress as well). I live one street over so to be a neighborhood spot I’ll DEFINITELY return to sit at the bar!

For better or for worse, Taco Mac is our usual wings and sports spot but I spotted a deal on Scoutmob and decided to give Kirkyard Public House and its wings a shot. As an aside, I keep wanting to called this place Kirkwood Public House since it’s in Kirkwood. Hopefully it’s not just me. Parking close by in the adjacent lot was simple, maybe because it was on the later side and a dreary evening. We were seated in a booth on the lower level. There were tons of TVs around so you could watch the night’s main sporting event. The bathroom situation consisted of two unisex restrooms tucked away in a small section off the main dining area. The beer menu boasts primarily local beers on draft which is pretty cool. We started off with the bacon guacamole($ 6.79) which I liked as a munchie. This was a generous portion too. When we found ourselves picking at the crumbs of the tortilla chips, the waitress cheerfully offered to bring out more. The wings could accurately be described as huge. You can order them in quantities of six, twelve($ 12.79, what we got), or twenty-four. Sides are either fries or celery AND carrots. The wings were sizzling hot(finger nearly got burned), crispy on the outside, and moist and juicy inside. I maybe could have used a little more lemon pepper flavor but not a big deal. For dessert, the salted caramel vanilla crunch cake was out, so I got the crème brûlée cheesecake(slightly overpriced at $ 6.99). It came with caramel sauce. It was fine but nothing on the level of The General Muir’s cheesecakes(the best!). There was also a gluten-free chocolate cake available as a third option. As first-timers to Kirkyard, our server Rachel made us feel welcome and recommended some popular menu items. She didn’t seem confused by the Scoutmob deal or anything either. Plus she mentioned our return visit a couple of times; it’s great to explicitly be invited back. It’s not hard to achieve, but the service here was definitely superior to Taco Mac. Satisfactory spot!

Had a wonderful time at this location. There is lots of space and a flatscreen on every angle. Watched the Falcons play the Saints a few nights ago. Even though the Falcons lost, the hot wings made up for the upset! The beer was served in a can which I thought was awesome. What set me up a notch was the service and the smile I got from Rosie. She made the day. I ordered a dirty martini and I swear it was the best freakin’ dirty martini I have EVER had. The flavor was perfect. Save me a seat Rosie, I’m coming back!

Horrible service. We waited to be seated until I had to go to a manager to ask to be seated after 5 min of waiting. Old waitress said stuff a waitress should probably keep yo herself and never would come by to fill our drinks. Had to walk up to the bar and refill my own water. Lemon pepper wings were Sooo salty, we complained to her and she said since we both tried a wing each she wasn’t going to re order a full order and brought us only 3 new wings? Never going back. Ppl sitting table next to us complained about food as well and their waiter also said there was nothing they can do. Smh

Stopped by after the kirkwood Wine Stroll and had a complete blast. A few friends were here and there was good variety of food and drinks to choose from. It took a little while for us to get a waiter or waitress but once Rosie found her way to our table, she was super awesome. There were plenty of people there but the food and drinks came pretty fast and I was satisfied with the wings and fries I ordered. Nothing too fancy about this place but it a pretty chill atmosphere.

This place will do if you’re cruising along Hosea Williams and need a basic place for eating or a social gathering. I’ve eaten there a few times but wouldn’t rush back for the food. I got the Public House Bowl(rice, veggies, beans, pico de gallo) dish that is on their Pub Specialties selection and this entrée was around $ 10. The meal was ok but nothing special about it. I’d say come here for fries, drinks, and other appetizers but venture somewhere else for some better grub.

Great place to take the kids, or a big group to watch the game. The five stars are for the friendly staff, local beers, number of tables and the location. The food is good, but it’s pub food, so don’t compare it to Rathbun’s. Highlights are the wings, tots covered in toppings, kids menu, pub bowl & beers

Holy Tasetbuds! I love Kirkyard! Everything I’ve tried thus far has been super yummy! Fantastic buffalo sauces! And the«hot» most certainly kicks you in the butt! Perfect! Fries are well seasoned and delicious! The beet salad is so simple, yet so satisfying! I recommend having it with their balsamic dressing! I don’t understand how something so basic can be so damn good. Which I must say, they make their salad dressings in house! And they also get some of their meat(like hot dogs) are from Spotted Trotter! They also serve and are very adiment about local Georgia beer! And the service rocks! New regular hangout!

This is a great little sports bar. The food is good, beer selection is varied, and the service is friendly. The wings and ranch sauce taste a lot like Taco Mac’s versions. Which is not a bad thing. I happen to like TM’s wings, so it’s nice that I can get something similar here without the godawful service. I’ve only had the wings so far, but the last time I was here, my friend had the Buffalo style burger, which he said was excellent, and my SO had a salad he enjoyed. I’ve also tried the chili cheese fries, which were just okay, and the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was enough to calm my out of control sweet tooth, but wasn’t all that great. I’ve been told that the vast majority of their food is made fresh, but that the desserts are not made in-house(read: frozen). They’ve got a good selection of local brews on tap, as well as a pretty good list of cheap macro brew tallboys. The last time I went, they had Yuengling tallboys on special for $ 3 each. Score! Lastly, the service has been good both times I’ve been. Parking is available in an adjacent small lot or the street. Kirkyard also participates in TabbedOut, which is an app that you can use to pay your tab without having to wait for your server! I’ve only used it once when dining with a group of ten and it froze up on me and one other person, but the rest of my party was able to use it just fine. Oh! If there’s ever a wait for the restroom, check out the nearby«Fictional Beer» poster, which features pictures of many fictional beers from TV shows and movies. It’s a cool way to pass the time while waiting to pee.
