I had a recent crisis when I had a failure in the motherboard of the 3 month old computer that I had purchased for my business. When I was first unable to turn on my computer, I didn’t know what the problem was, so I took it to the Geek Squad where I had a one year service contract that I purchased with the computer. As I had already come to expect from them those first few months, Geek Squad explained to me why there would be an additional cost not covered under my warranty for them to diagnose the problem. Since I didn’t trust their capability to resolve the problem, I looked for another option. Extraordinarily positive reviews on Unilocal led me to Sam at LTMicro. Amid all the anguish of the loss of my business computer, it was my good fortune to find my way to Sam. He was calm, patient, and inspired confidence in his ability to diagnose the problem. And, in fact, in short order, he did identify the problem with the motherboard. Once the issue was identified, I found that it was covered under my warranty with the manufacturer, and I sent the computer off to them for repair… but not before Sam insured that my data was preserved on a backup drive. The cost for his time was quite reasonable, but was invaluable to me. Subsequently, I learned that two other friends have used Sam’s services and highly recommend him. I hope that I do not have occasion to see Sam anytime soon for computer issues… but I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone as someone you can place complete trust in to take good care of you and your computer! I now have my PC back, good as new… happy ending, thanks to Sam.
