Normally I don’t do reviews because all places can be hit or miss sometimes. When this place first opened it was great. The service was good and all the food was good. Things were well priced and it’s rarely that crowded. However I’ve been back twice since then and both times have been awful. It’s not that busy yet service is horribly slow. Employees are standing around, on cell phones, while the hard working employees are so busy they don’t have time to get to everyone. Management clearly needs improvement. Anyways, a few nights back I was in a party of 2. open tables everywhere and we had to wait about 15 minutes, so they seated us in no-mans land with open tables all around us. We patiently waited as waiters/employees left us to be and after 15 minutes of no service we left. I have no idea what these employees are doing when they go to the back but they clearly don’t take thier jobs seriously. Bunch of young employees wandering around getting paid to do nothing. $ 2 drinks don’t make up for horrible service but perhaps the bar is a lot quicker. Cooks sit outside and wander around smoking cig’s…you can see them from the patio. Host’s sit up fr0nt on cell phones. Service in Atlanta is declining, and this place is def where it’s happening.

This is a go to spot for a quick(service is fast) business lunch in the buckhead area The food is good, with a pretty wide choice of entrees — I am particular to the salads, which are reasonably priced and filling. If you are going, you can self-park across the street and avoid the line at the valet

Note: Those $ 2 cocktails are now $ 2.95, all day every day. So it’s more like $ 3 cocktails. And they add an 18% gratuity, no matter your party size. Not that I’d ever tip less than 18%, but just so you know.

It’s very clear that the quality of food you get here is much lower than a lot of the fine dining in Atlanta/Buckhead BUT since I am not putting this on the same level as those places, I can easily give Lenox Square Grill 4 stars. The food was fresh & fast(fried green tomatoes, turkey burger & bacon burger) and our server was very nice. The BEST part about this place was the price for our meal. Everything is very affordable, which is nice if you want something simple but don’t want to drop 20 – 30 bucks a plate on many of the other fine dining establishments in Buckhead. This restaurant does its job for a mall restaurant & I would recommend to anyone that wants a sit down meal with very reasonable prices.

Had to make a rare stop at Lenox mall yesterday, so we decided to do dinner at the Lenox Square Grill. I have to say, my expectations were low, but it wasn’t bad at all(and we didn’t even drink any $ 2 cocktails!). The prime rib wasn’t bad(pretty average), the mac and cheese was good and the beer can chicken was excellent — crispy skin, juicy, great flavor. Our server seemed inexperienced, but he was very attentive. One weird thing to note — we were a party of 2, yet they added on an 18% gratuity. That’s a big turnoff for me.

Terrible service. I was put on hold when I attempted to reserve a table. We were originally seated at the darkest, coldest corner of the restaurant, despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty. The server did not introduce herself and acted as if she was too busy to spend much time at our table. She brought out my entrée before the others at my table. She didn’t refill our drinks or make offers. She neglected to bring requested items to the table, like to-go boxes. She would disappear for at least 30 minutes at a time. She brought out the tickets with no ink pens, so we sat there to see if she’d come back. After 20 minutes, I found a manager and informed him of the horrible service we’ve gotten. He showed his concern by only sending the server back out to bring ONE ink pen. While the venue itself is adequate for the Lenox Square area, the menu is dumbed-down and is that of a hole-in-the-wall bar(like deep-fried everything and Mac n Cheese?!). It’s obvious that this place is struggling and will not be here much longer. I definitely will not be returning.

I’m not the biggest fan of Buckhead or Lenox Square Mall. There’s a million stoplights between Decatur and the mall. It can be difficult to find parking. I don’t have a lot of money to buy things. The people who frequent the mall don’t seem to be «my kind of people,» nor I theirs. But if one is meeting folks who are driving through town for lunch and they for some reason need to do an errand at the mall, Lenox Square Grill is a fantastic place to enjoy an inexpensive lunch in an aesthetically pleasing and quiet space. The restaurant looks like it is a much fancier venue than it is. Surprise! One can enjoy a $ 6 veggie burger and a heaping plate of shoestring fries, a $ 2.99 chocolate milkshake, and $ 6 cocktails(for example) while eating at a table with linens and being served by friendly, fancy-dressed servers. Beats the food court, hands down.

Have never been to Georgia before, I’m from california, and had absolutely no idea where to eat, or what was around my hotel. My step mother and I decided on a walk and eventually found the Lenox Square Grill. What a pleasant surprise! We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess who took us to a tiny table. We were given menus and then immediately greeted by our waiter, a very friendly gentlemen with LOTS of southern hospitality. He took our drink order, and they came back fast! My martini was SUPER tasty, I can’t remember what it was, but it had champagne in it, among other things, and it was fab. We decided to get a few things and share. I ordered the potato soup for myself, we shared the fried crab claws(had to try, we are in the south and its fried, it had to be good), the Mozzarella & Beefsteak Tomatoes salad, AND the Spicy Chicken Wings! It all came out so fast that our tiny table could not hold it all! Without even having to ask, our waiter immediately asked us if we would like to be moved to a bigger table; of course we agreed! After being moved to normal sized table we tried everything! The crab claws had great flavor but not a lot of meat, I wanted more!!! The potato soup had great flavor and texture! The salad was good, not the best caprese salad I’ve ever had, but not bad, and the chicken wings were very tasty! We sat and ate and chatted for quite some time and our waiter never pressured us to leave! After a couple more drinks we asked for the bill, paid and left, stomachs full and happy! I had a great first night in Georgia! Thank you!

Who knew brunch, lunch or dinner could be this affordable at Lenox Mall? Well with daily $ 2 cocktails and meal deals I’m totally a fan. Here’s a few things I love: *Brunch: Turkey, Egg and Cheese Biscuit *Lunch or Dinner: Fried Shrimp with Sweet Potato Fries *Parking: Anywhere around Lenox Mall but valet is complimentary *Private Events: I attended a bridal shower in one of the back rooms and we ate great for just $ 20 a person. The food was so good but unfortunately most of it is not offered on the everyday menu. *Sporting Events: The main bar area is usually flooded with people during football season. Do yourself a favor and go to the back bar area. Most people don’t even know its there and you will probably get better seats and faster service. *Fast Food: The service is generally speedy and they offer deep booths that are great for groups. If there’s a hunger inside you and you’r seeking a fast delicious meal after breaking the bank at Lenox Mall definitely check out Lenox Square Grill. Plus the all you can eat brunch buffet is about $ 10 and the Mimosas are $ 2 each!

Oh Lenox Square Grill. I can’t say I come here for the food. I’ve tried a few menu items. The Prime Rib sandwich with friend green tomatoes or the chef salad are pretty solid choices, if a little overpriced. I come here for the drinks. $ 2 cocktails and house wines. The bartenders are friendly and heavy handed. The setting is nice. Definitely nice enough to bring a date, but I have not attempted that yet because I generally get a little too rowdy when the drinks are this cheap.

NOISY, NOISY, and did I mention… NOISY?! Bad acoustics makes me wonder who this could ever be a brunch spot. However, the redeeming thing? $ 1.95COCKTAILS!!! Yay!!! Rail liquor!!! BOOOOO!!! Yes, if you’re cheap and don’t mind the next-morning-shits, you can get hammered on a $ 20 here. But keep in mind, they close at 10:00 on some days when it’s slow, they might stay open until 11:00 if it’s busier.

Went to Lenox Grill about a week ago for lunch. The menu looked pretty decent, but didn’t have very many healthy options on it. I’m trying be healthy in the new year and shed some of tire around my waistline, so I opted for the she-crab soup and house salad. The house salad was pretty basic and was ok; basically some lettuce topped with boiled egg, bacon bits, and carrots with choice of dressing(oil /vinegar). The she-crab soup however was pretty bad; it was a lumpy mess made with some sort of imitation crab meat. The service at Lenox Grill was ok, but nothing to brag about either. When we walked in we were greeted right away by the hostess who took us to our table. Then we waited a good amount of time for our server to come over and take our drink /food order. He was ok, but not really the friendliest guy in the world. The food came out super fast, thinking it was all precooked and they just zapped in the microwave before bringing it out. I wouldn’t really recommend Lenox Grill for their food, but you might want to check out their $ 1.95 drink specials they have everyday.

Arg! I can not say my experience was bad but the lack of effort just frustrates me. The front end staff at Lenox Square Grill is coasting on mediocrity. Okay yes, you have a primo location, and yes you have two dollar cocktails but is that enough for you. Obviously it is. I went here for light lunch or lunner on New Year’s Eve with friends from out of town. They were staying in a hotel in Buckhead and I intended to take them to the Bucket Shop but we wimped out because it was a further walk. SERVICE: Although we had to wait for someone to come to the hostess station when we entered, the wait to be seated was relatively short but the service afterward was so slow. And our server, bless his heart, clue less. We asked what hot tea selections there were and he said sweet and unsweet. We asked whether the popcorn shrimp was good and he indicated he was allergic and offered no other suggestions. The salad came out at least 10 minutes after the cornbread and shrimp. One of the party went without silverware until they were served their lunch and raised it to him. After plates were cleared we waited at least 20 minutes for the check. As we were walking out there was a traffic jam due to the staff sort of milling around the entryway. Excuse me. FOOD: We had skillet cornbread, popcorn shrimp and a salad. I said it was a light lunch! The salad was the worst as it was filled with iceberg lettuce although spring mix was supposed to be used. The skillet cornbread was delightful but we almost didn’t get it because when we ordered it the waiter interrogated us regarding whether that is what we really wanted. The popcorn shrimp was spicy and freshly fried. The fact that the majority of the food was decent prevents me from giving this two stars. But the apathetic and slow service will likely keep me away permanently. I pray I am not getting to be one of those people.

Came here with a group of 4 and to be honest, I felt that the service was sub-par. We were meeting two others and even though our friend had made a reservation, the hostess said that she had not made one. We later found our friend who said she had been waiting at the bar for us, but it was sort of annoying that they were not able to keep track of their reservations. There is nothing special about this menu(typical diner food) yet there is a high up-charge for the food. I thought the service was fine for a diner, but not great for a place that is trying to be more. Overall, I’d recommend Panera Bread or Corner Bakery in Lenox Mall over this place.

OMGLOVETHISPLACE!!! $ 2 drinks and great food that’s inexpensive, what more could you ask for? My friends and I are regulars on Saturday nights. I even heard on a night during the week they open up the back of the restaurant and have a DJ with everyone on the dance floor. Don’t sleep on Lenox Grill! You must go and try it out!

My friend and I came here after work for happy hour a few days ago. I didn’t expect much, but had to get my $ 1.95 drink on. I can’t say I was disappointed. They are serving well liquor(you cant expect much knowing that). I’m a vodka drinker so I asked what vodka did they used for the special and the bartender advised SKOL(it could’ve been worse). I enjoyed my screwdrivers and called it a day. We also shared the chicken nachos. They were okay at best, but we only needed some food to put in our stomach while we were throwing back some tasty beverages and the nachos did the job. We sat at a table in the bar area instead of being sat at a restaurant table. The bartender got extremely busy but our service was still pretty good. She had to wait on the bar tables as well as the people sitting at the bar. I’m an understanding person and we didn’t feel neglected at all. I’d go there again, I heard they have a really good Sunday brunch(I must try).

This is where low rent people go to try to feel high class. Just look around the patio and you’ll see what I mean. It doesn’t say much for them when their appetizer menu consists of things like popcorn shrimp and chicken nachos. The baked potato soup tastes just like something you’d get out of a can Oh, and what about the infamous drinks? Their $ 1.95 cocktails taste like the free ones you get in Las Vegas while playing nickel slots. Seriously. If I had closed my eyes while drinking it I would have thought I was there. The only thing missing was the«cha-ching!» I’ve tried some of the more expensive ones and they’re not very good either. The mojito is mostly simple syrup and the peach martini tastes like drain cleaner.

Happy hour with the girls! Where should we go? After reading Kathleen M.‘s review for Two Dollar Cocktails we had to check it out. Favies Laura W. and Elizabeth H. accompanied me along with three other friends. Our table of six ladies claimed a high top by the bar. Our waitress was excellent. She kept our Two Dollar Cocktails comin’! Hands down: best happy hour in Atlanta. The drinks are just as strong at Lenox Square Grill as they are at their sister restaurants(Tavern @ Phipps, New York Prime, etc.) but CHEAP! The vodka soda I ordered for $ 1.95 did the same trick as Tavern’s concoction but for a fraction of the cost. We ordered the nachos: pretty tasty but nothing to write home about. I’ll have to go back for a full dining experience. Maybe I’ll go back for brunch. A $ 2 Mimosa would be fabulous before shopping. Me and my girls will definitely be heading back there for happy hour.

My sister said it best — this place underwelms in every possible way. The menu can only be described as average — basic appetizers(chili, nachos, onion rings), basic salads(house, grilled chicken), basic burgers and sandwiches(buffalo chicken, cheeseburger, philly) and basic entrees(surf ‘n’ turf, pork chops). This may sound tasty to some people, but believe me — everything this place serves is done better somewhere else in the city. I expected it to be great. Maybe I listen to «The Buck and Kincade Show» too much on 680AM and they’ve brainwashed me because I felt like I was making an educated decision when I decided to eat her tonight. My sister kept asking me, «How do you know this place is good?» And I kept saying, «Oh, that’s what they say on the radio.» Boy, was I conned. Talk about Jedi mind control! The food here is average, the service is average and the music is terrible(you wouldn’t expect a restaurant in Lenox to be blasting Nirvana and Green Day and that should have been my first warning). The food wasn’t awful, it was just boring. I will say that it was remarkably cheap for Buckhead standards. We had a mozzarella and beefsteak tomato salad and a veggie burger loaded with cheese, mushrooms and jalapenos and a small baked potato for $ 13. You can’t beat that price, but the food just wasn’t comforting. To put it simply, I would have rather eaten at Applebee’s(or Chili’s or Ruby Tuesday or Bennigan’s …)
