NOT A FRESH OPTION!
I glanced up and saw a sign for this gourmet popcorn and was really interested. But as I looked closer, I noticed what appeared to be a manager hanging out in front of the store just leaning against the counter. No popcorn was popping and there was no smell of fresh popcorn in the air so we kept moving. After shopping a couple of stores and returning, samples had been placed on a tray and no one was in sight. We tried a sample of cheese and caramel. While mine had a nice taste, it was definitely not fresh popped and my husband’s sample was stale.
Here is the deal, If I am going to purchase any popcorn in the mall, it will need to be freshly popped as I wait otherwise I am not interested. Why would I pay gourmet price for Walmart quality? Not gonna happen!

I have been coming to this popcorn stand since they opened. I recently went yesterday and the popcorn and customer service was horrible! The cheese popcorn was extremely salty, and the manager was very rude and was more interested in what was going on with his cell phone. He was extremely mean to his employee as well when the young man needed help with pricing. I think there must be a new owner and the quality has changed tremendously! I won’t be going back. This owner needs to learn how to run his business and provide excellent quality in product and service. He looked like he was standing on the block (posted in front of the counter with his cell out and rude glares)…however, the other young man who helped us was VERY polite and helpful. Disappointed… this was my favorite popcorn spot, and they just lost a faithful customer.

I would definitely give this place a 5 for taste because I crave this popcorn on the regular but I had to knock them down a star because last Sunday I came here and nobody was here and I’m here today and there’s a sign that says they went to lunch and will be back in 30 minutes. Jeez! What’s a girl for do to get some popcorn around here?
Normally, when I come here I get the 2 for $ 10 mixed bags and they last me a couple days. I can’t get enough. They’re perfectly mixed and still tastes good whether it’s warm or not! They also have one in perimeter mall and when I’m there I get some from them, too. Not sure how or what they used but know I’m not complaining. I enjoy this popcorn. I want to say it’s the best I’ve had but. not quite sure. It’s definitely close, though! If you ever visit Northlake Mall try a sample.

I walked by this popcorn shop with my children today in the mall. I said oh no, not another popcorn shop. The gentleman asked me if I would like to try a sample, I said sure. He offered me cheddar cheese and caramel, wasn’t excited about eating that together, but I tried it. I couldn’t believe, I actually liked it. As a matter of fact, it was pretty amazing enough to buy 4 bags of it to take home with me. Service was awesome and so was the popcorn. I will be back, that’s for sure.

I was lucky enough to be visiting the Atlanta area this past weekend and had a chance to sample (then buys 2 bags) of this delicious popcorn! It is so yummy! Do yourself a favor a try some. I am sure you will love it like I do! I am not from Chicago, but appreciated the combination of cheese and caramel popcorn together. However, for those of you who just love one flavor or the other, that is available also.

I am from Illinois and LOVE Chicago popcorn (Garrett’s in particular). I was visiting JCPenney’s and smelled popcorn. But I tell myself, there is no popcorn in this mall. Apparently, there is. I search the mall directory on my phone and find the spot. Not busy at all. 3 guys are preparing bags of popcorn. I get the standard mix– cheddar and caramel. Pretty reasonably priced. It was pretty good. Does not match the «real thing» at all though. Good mix of both flavors and pretty crunchy. I would get it again. Might be the best I can get down here.
