We liked this place so much we came back on our return trip. Biscuits, Garvey, cheesy grits and chicken sausage! Yummy! If you don’t get a chance to have a real southern breakfast at home stop here. You won’t regret it!

So many options here in the food court, after wandering back and forth I settled on LowCountry because of their display. Had their fall off the bones ribs. Great customer service. Amazingly fresh food for an airport.

One star for the cheese grits & another for the service which were both mediocre at best. If you must eat here, then BEWARE of the sausage gravy! The chef must’ve dumped an entire container of salt in it… absolutely horrible. You know what? Save your money & go to Chick Fil-A just two doors down!

Quite possibly the best airport breakfast I’ve ever had. The eggs were surprisingly fantastic — not overcooked like you’d usually find at a place where they’re not made to order. The biscuit was light and fluffy and the cheese grits were fantastic! I polished off the entire thing. Not only is the food delicious but the staff is friendly, cheerful and happy to be there!(Or at least they do a good job faking it!) I had such a pleasant experience during an otherwise dreary travel day. The only downside was the coffee which really didn’t offer much in comparison to the food, but otherwise I’m a fan! I almost felt bad for the people around me eating food from other shops — what were they thinking?

If you’re looking for quick and tasty southern food dining, LowCountry by G Garvin is the spot! Experienced the world famous cheese grits and fried chicken! Totally against my diet but it was ALL worth it. Best food spot in concourse A!

I normally love this place. The few times I’ve been here I’ve seen me Garvin himself who was very sweet and accomodating. Any other time I would give them a 4 start rating… Today I had fried chicken which was amazing. What I noticed was that the green beans I had to wait for, the fish I would have had to wait for and the ribs. That’s disappointing because I ended up getting things I didn’t want. No one has time to wait at an airport. The veggies(green beans and broccoli) are always smothered in garlic. Garvin ure a chef, there are many over seasonings. I tried the baked beans… They were seasoned well but completely undercooked. Epic fail that day…

Second stop via terminal A passing through at the ATL. While the fried chicken and mac and cheese are tasty, the southern green beans are neither flavorful nor easy to eat. Pass…

This airport location is «just okay» for breakfast. I would rather go next door for a breakfast quesadilla or breakfast sandwich. You’re better off spending your 11 $ on something more hearty. Service was great though and the people were nice overall. I think the breakfast menu needs some revamping.

Interesting reviews. I only tried the green beans and red potatoes which were good. I was turned off by the girls working there, I could hear them talking crap about a bunch of people as they walked by and heard one girl talking about how much her butt hurt.

My husband and I tried Low Country during our lay over in ATL. We wanted something different and the food looked descent, and overall it was. I had the baked Salmon with cheese grits, and broccoli. My husband had the baked Rosemary chicken with potatoes and broccoli. We both enjoyed our meals. The grits were really good. The broccoli could have been steamed a tad longer but it was seasoned well. My husbands potatoes were seasoned really good. Overall it was a good choice, especially being food from the airport. Lol.

Best breakfast food in the Atlanta Airport. As a frequent traveler through the Atlanta Airport, I’ve grown bored of the typical breakfast burrito or sandwich. Low Country offers fresh breakfast dishes that are absolutely on-point. I had the sausage biscuit and gravy, which was as good as what you would get at a mom-n-pop authentic southern diner. This came with two sides, and I opted for the cheese grits and chicken sausages. As you can tell from the above, this is not a place to have breakfast at if you’re on a diet, but it sure is good!

Shrimp, pan seared zucchini and yellow squash and rosemary potatoes. Very good considering that this is an airport location.

The fried chicken is delicious. Correctly salty, crispy, and satisfying. Comes with two sides. The rice is flavored, complements the chicken. Grits aren’t bad, good enough. The fried potatoes are excellent. The other dishes on the menu are just so-so. Airport level blandness. So this rating is just for the chicken and sides.

Rashida C. said we need a brick and mortar restaurant in town and I agree. I shouldn’t need to buy a plane ticket in order to sample the fare at LowCountry. Our flight was on a different concourse but we took the train to Concourse A just to eat here. I enjoyed my sautéed shrimp with mac and cheese and steamed broccoli. The shrimp was well-seasoned and not overcooked. The mac was one of the no-bake variety. It was impressively creamy with a hint smoky cheese. I loved that they used those grooved elbows(can’t remember their real name) because they grip every drop of cheese sauce. Somehow they infused a lot of flavor into the broccoli. The boy ordered fried chicken, steamed broccoli and mac and cheese. I didn’t taste it but I got all the feedback I needed. Me: Do you like your chicken? Is it good? Him: mghgmghmghnyeah! Then he quickly dove face first back into the meat. It was one of those don’t-disturb-this-chew responses. He only gives those when it’s too good to talk. If you’re looking for tasty local flavors at the airport, make it your business to stop here. Chef G. Garvin is an Atlanta native and his baby LowCountry does southern right.

This gets a 5. This airport is a minefield of eating nightmares. First the staff is super pleasant and quick. Puts them ahead of many. And it’s a mostly rushed and unhappy clientele. Had the salmon with green beans and red roasted potatoes. Fantastic. No pictures(sorry) because I ate it in 3 minutes. They have a killer looking bread pudding for dessert. I was behaved and didn’t get it. Looked great. Instead of McDonald’s or Popeyes, go here. Lots of other options. Chicken and ribs looked great. I don’t eat meat. But I bet it’s really good.

Would have given a 5 but they were sold out of ribs which we stopped for(given a Unilocal review pic mmm) and they didn’t have a side that was on their menu that I wanted. Other than that the food was absolutely amazing. The Mac and cheese was creamy. The green beans were tasty. The chicken was juicy. And I found a new hot sauce brand that I adore. Texas Pete. Unfortunately they don’t have it in MN but I will get some shipped lol. Prices were pretty good too about $ 11 per person for a meal. Highly recommended if your at this airport.

I was on a quick layover in Atlanta terminal A and as someone into fitness and health spent 10 minutes looking a the various junk food place to try and make something work in a healthy diet. Then I found Low Country! Real food! Chef Garvin saved the day; not only were there many many healthy choices, the food is really good. I have chef G’s tv show a number of times and was surprised to see him actually in the kitchen tonight as well. All in all great food and a great experience and I will be back for breakfast in the morning before my flight leaves. p. s. Chef Garvin even humored me when I waved at him like the tourist that I am how. This place is a must eat if you want really good southern food and healthy options.

Glad to try this place out. Located right in the middle of busy intersection competing with pizza, burgers and Chick-fil-A. Walking by and checking it out, pretty skimpy offerings main meal with do few sides. Walked by, checked other areas and came back. The ladies tending the area were very friendly. I settled with the ribs and two sides. Amount of meat I got for the price was amazing. It was dosed with lots of bbq sauce and I put hot sauce for a kick. Ribs were tender, fall of the bone goodness. Side of bbq beans and mac n cheese was plentyful and perfect companion to the ribs. Had broccoli and green beans also but saved for next time. This will be my «must» stop by place. Robs were fall off the bone goodness

Decided to try Low Country by G Garvin when transiting through Atlanta International Airport Concourse A. At around 7 a.m. in the morning the entire airport was swarming with people and Low Country had a pretty big line indicating its popularity. I decided to get the waffle platter($ 9.99) with turkey bacon and eggs. The waffle is made fresh so I had a wait a bit longer than others but as it was ready in under 10 minutes it was not a big issue. Taste wise the food on the plate was like night and day. The waffle was terrible. Badly made and undercooked. The syrup(available free in a bottle on the left of the pay station) was thin, runny and almost tasteless. After a couple of bites I could not eat that anymore. On the other hand the eggs were very nice and the bacon was made to my liking — not overly crisp and not extremely salty. I’ve eaten in enough Airport locations to know the food at Low Country is decent. Next time I’ll just go al-la-carte and get the grits(or cheese grits), home style potatoes and chicken sausage in addition to the eggs and turkey bacon and skip the waffle completely.

Welcome to the South, y’all. You want a breakfast of biscuits and gravy? Here’s where it’s at. It was tasty(maybe too salty) and it was filling and I cleaned my plate. Yum!
