If you want to get the Christmas spirit, visit Lucy’s market. Beautiful wreaths, orchid arrangements, unique holiday decoration, amazing food items… I could go on and on. Every time I have people visiting from out of town, I take them to Lucy’s Market and they are blown away!

Cute merchandise and I love the pimento cheese you can get from the fridges in the back. Unusual selections of cookies, crackers, etc. and I have purchased and enjoyed the small caramel cakes. All of the items are overpriced, but if I enjoy something, I will buy it. My dislike of Lucy’s Market comes from the snobbish attitude of the sales clerks. This last visit today confirmed for me that I don’t need to spend my money here again. There are plenty more interesting, friendly places in Atlanta.

It’s a cute little market that I pass daily… so I decided to check it out. They have a small variety of fresh fruits & veggies, prepared foods in the refrigerators, wine and flowers. Super cute market… But I was disappointed with the awful service. ABSOLUTELYNO one greeted me or said anything to me. They greeted and smiled with everyone around me as I walked the whole market. Plenty of staff behind the counter, so I left. Returned on another day, same thing. No greeting no help this time I bought 2 Apple’s «will that be it, $ 1.04» was the only thing said to me. The other 3 people greeted with big smiles and plenty of help. The old South needs get use to the New South. It’s not going anywhere! One color we all have in common is the«Green» we carry on our pockets. I want to tell my girls in the office and friends but I wouldn’t want them to experience the same treatment. Maybe they wouldn’t because my friends are multi-cultural. You never know whose in your presence or paying attention.

Great produce which is always fresh. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. They are so nice, they always remember me and they even gave me a basket. The precooked meals are great. Especially chicken almandine with saltine crackers. The chocolate chip cookies are incredible.

What an awesome little place right off of Paces Ferry road! Tucked off the road is a small little market that focuses on fresh produce, small gifts(most of which are locally made), and an assortment of prepared foods. Their produce is very good, and local! Their staff are very friendly and willing to help you find something and sample their products. Although I do not get up to this area on a regular basis, I enjoy checking out their fresh foods. Parking is limited but I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. Excited to see what Lucy’s Market does in the future.

This place is so easy to miss — kinda small sign but, yes, it’s the old car shop/Big John’s spot! Thanks to my mom, I get treats from here every so often. Great chicken salad and other various prepared/to-go(ie, picnic-style) picks. Super nice people as others have noted. They have some of the best fresh fruit, from tomatoes to peaches, whatever’s in season and best, of any place nearby. Love shopping local and love swinging by(or having the Mom-delivery!) for healthy, yummy treats.

Their gift baskets are amazing! I ordered 14 of them for holiday gifts and they were a huge hit with my clients. Kim is so personable and helpful, everyone at Lucy’s is happy and enthusiastic.

The place just rocks. Personal service, great selection, super produce and pine straw as cheap as home depot or lowes, plus it is right around the corner. God bless the local merchant showing you don’t have to be a huge chain to have a loyal following and be able to compete with them and win! Keep up the great work.

After driving by Lucy’s for two weeks straight, I finally convinced myself to drop by and check it out. I was immediately greeted by one of the owners(I assume, although I have yet to meet«Lucy», but maybe she doesn’t even exist). For someone like me, who cannot select vegetables on their own, Lucy’s is a godsend. I simply walked up, ordered: yellow squash, zucchini, and okra and was pleasantly delivered a brown bag full of fresh, yummy vegetables. $ 3 dollars later and I had a full dinner. Lucy’s has a pretty solid selection of fresh produce: strawberries(they are inside), squash, zucchini, okra, beans(of all kinds), potatoes, tomatoes, onions, a huge selection of various herbs(from their garden), and more. I have yet to discover their entire selection as some of the products are kept refrigerated inside. Without doubt, Lucy’s provides a fresh alternative to «Fresh Market» or Publix. For me, the opportunity to get amazing service, support a local biz, and eat on the cheap makes Lucy’s a clear winner.
