What is wrong with this place? For MONTHS it’s been going down hill. No consistency in the food, employees have no clue what they are doing, rude on the phone and no customer service when you are in person. I like the Marcos product choices but this place doesn’t meet the requirements of good tasting, fresh and acceptable presentation. Guess I’ll have to find someplace else.

I’ve always loved Marco’s…or at least the one in Tucker GA. I moved to Doraville recently and yesterday I was craving Marco’s. I will never order from this location again. I called to have a pizza delivered at 1:25 pm. The manager, MAX, took my order. I got the special with extra cheese. I was quoted 40 mins for my order. I understand that there can be a language barrier sometimes but this was ridiculous. I repeated my address 3 times and spelled it too. I live 1.9 miles from the store. 2:20 rolled around so I called to check on my pizza and they said it was out for delivery. Another 10 mins went by and still no pizza. The poor girl who was trying to find my home, was given the wrong address by her manager… MAX. Thanks MAX… It took 2 hours to get a pizza. Londin was the delivery person. She was great but there was no reason I was going to pay for a cold pizza. I tipped her $ 10 because she works hard. I ended up heating my food up in the oven and it was awful. Don’t waste your time at this location of Marco’s. I’m going back to the one in Tucker for take out next time.

Disaster! They were out of many ingredients for pizza and salad. Guess it’s too much trouble to go next door to Publix to replenish all the missing toppings. After an hour — they gave us our pizza without the ingredients we ordered. No one seemed to know what to do. We settled for the one topping pizza rather than wait another hour for the 3 topping pizza we paid for. Skip this location

I normally like this pizza but I ordered a pizza without onions which they forgot to make. Then they came to me and said they would make it. Finally I check and the pizza is ready, with onions. I hate onions. 45 minutes of my life I won’t get back. I’m done with them.

Alpharetta At Bethany Bend… Just don’t bother! Worst pizza experience ever. Order was completely wrong and had very little cheese, very little sauce and was 95% bread. After receiving the pizza I spoke to the manager McKeel(same person that took my order) whom hung up on me twice during my attempt to explain my dissatisfaction. He did not offer to correct the issue, instead he said that he would make a note for next time. Obviously there will not be a next time.

Sad to say this review has nothing to do about your pizza. I am watching undercover boss and shocked that you don’t have a policy requiring gloves when making dough and/or touching the products? I watch the employees push the dough up their arm, that’s disgusting. It’s not fair to give your location a one star but hopefully you share my comments with corporate.

The customer service at this location has suffered significantly in recent months(I believe there was a change in management, as we were notified through some mailed coupons), and I’ve been really disappointed, the last 2 times I’ve picked up food. Rude employees with zero phone etiquette; failing to greet someone as they walk inside; having people pay for their food as soon as they walk in, only to have them wait 2x the wait time promised(and then leaving food in the window to get cold, saying its not ready, when it’s been ready since before you walked in) & not one person willing to acknowledge you when you ask for an update on your order. Really not happy with the drastic change in service we had come to expect and appreciate at Marco’s.

Never, never, never, never ever order from these folks. First time? Took hours and was cold. Manager told me it was a new driver and told me he would give me a $ 15 credit. Second time? Was told they were not taking orders. What?! Asked to speak to a manager. Was told they were not taking orders for… wait for it… pizza. At Marco’s PIZZA. I asked why. They. . dough. Takes 4 hours to make it. Still waiting for a call from corporate. On the good side the manager was very professional and apologetic. But really, what good is a $ 15 credit if you can’t order anything?

Go to the Marcos in Norcross, we have never had an issue at that store. Every time we order from this store there is always an issue. This time we ordered an hour in advance and they still did not have our pizza. They must have given it away because once we got there and paid they asked what were we waiting for and then started making the pizza.

This place sucks! Staff is slow! It took them 20 minutes to make a SALAD! With 6 people working and NO one else in the store. This is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever had.

I can’t speak to the service but the Pizza was great! all the veggies on my pizza were chopped fresh and the pizza was hot when it arrived, no weird cheese was used either. Dough was crispy and perfectly cooked. Young kid delivered didnt say much but what else is he supposed to say besides«sign here»…anywho, I’ll definitely be ordering from here again! Oh and the pizza got to my house in a pretty good time as well… if it got here faster I’d think they just had it under a hot lamp,

I’ve had the pizza once before, and it was halfway decent for a small chain in the South. Being from NJ, I tend to be critical of pizza in general, but Marco’s is decent enough to do the job. My issue is with the customer service, which in this location’s case was awful. I am in the service industry, and even I was surprised and disappointed in my experience tonight. I called them at exactly 9:30 to place an order for one pizza, and was told that they stop taking orders at 9:30! Their menu and website claims they are open until 10, which is either a lie or the staff was too lazy to make one more pizza a half hour from close. I’m sorry, but if you’re open until 10, then you’re open until 10, not 9:30. Congrats Marco’s, you lost yourself a sale, a nice tip, and a customer. I can walk to Marco’s, but I’ll gladly drive elsewhere for a better experience.

I love the service they give, it’s always top notch in my book, I’ve never had any problem. Tonight for dinner I had the Steak & Cheese Brunno and oh boy was it ever so Damn good, I’ve tried 5 of the 8 subs and all have been good so far. There Pizzas are top notch also, if you can try what you want, it won’t be disappointing.

Ordered pizza and a meatball sub for delivery last night. The person that answered the phone was friendly and helpful. The food was delivered just as they said it would be and tasted great! Loved the thin crust pie. Based on previous reviews, it sounds like they are under new management or have cleaned up their act. Definitely give Marco’s a shot and form your own opinion.

The pizza and wings are very good — that would have been good enough(not sure why the food is criticized in other posts). The reason why I like this place is because I’ve had good experiences in the past and tonight they stepped their customer service up even more. We had a pizza delivered but this particular driver did not have the access code to the gate so he called us to get in. Unfortunately, we were away from the phone and didn’t hear it. He called seven times before finally going back to the restaurant. When the designated delivery time was up, we were going to call the store to check on the pizza and that’s when we saw all of his calls. I called the store to see what could be done — deliver it again, go pick it up, etc. The manager, Jasmine, handled things beautifully and went out of her way to keep my business. She offered to re-send the delivery driver but I couldn’t ask him to do that again. She offered to re-make our pizza which they did. She took off the delivery fee but I appreciated their efforts so I went ahead and left a tip that hopefully compensates for it. Jasmine even let me keep my coupon while giving me the coupon price. She was patient, kind, and professional — she must be a different(new?) manager than the ones mentioned in other posts. I will definitely return.

I actually came here because the reviews were so bad. Crazy right. So the story is that I’ve had pizza delivered from the new Briarcliff location, which was pretty good. Greasy but good(come on, it is pizza). So as soon as I walk in to the shallowford location I am greeted and allowed time to review the menu while the cashier stood patiently behind the register(was not on phone). Food came promptly and we enjoyed a fresh salad, slice of cheese pizza, and a veggie fresco sub in a clean environment. All was enjoyed. I’m assuming they’ve discarded some poor employees because our experience was fine. Hope this helps!

I’ve been here a couple times, both times the service was kind of mediocre, everyone just kind of looks like they hate their job, the first time I came in I ordered a turkey club bravo, it was good, nothing to brag about though, this time I ordered a pizza with the salad and some cinnasquares, it all just kind of tasted basic. Nothing was exceptional or great, just… average

HoOoOray! This place is under $ 10! Saw their Meatball cake that is being serve and I pause for a bit. It was really something that you wouldn’t resist if you were on my place. I already imagined myself eating that good looking meatball cake. I started ordering at the counter then I noticed a big bad service behavior. The person on the counter ignores me because she’s busy on her phone. I am really starving that day so I needed a quick bite of that meatball. After 9 minutes of standing without even a not or a eye contact, she finally turn around took my order. The food is definitely good but the service is worst.

The beau and I decided to have a pizza/movie night in together since it was raining pretty hard and it was a gloomy day all day long. We decided to check this place out since 1) it’s named after a friend and 2) it’s right down the road from our apartment. We walked in and ordered a extra large pizza with 2 toppings. After I ordered, I realized that I was overcharged because I did not notice their grand opening special and had to talk to the manager to get refunded the extra amount. There wasn’t a problem with that, which I was satisfied about, but the pizza was seriously lacking. We got home, and I ate the pizza right away because I didn’t want to let it sit and get cold. It was. just. meh. I ate about two slices, and I was done for the night. The beau usually eats anything, and he couldn’t handle it. He actually woke up in the middle of night with the worst stomachache ever. He had such a bad experience that he never wants to order from there again. I guess we’ll stick the the standard popular pizza chains.
