The chicken stack is phenomenal, and the service is great. Wow. Can’t believe he meal i just had was $ 14. I will come back for sure and bring friends. They were out of the good beer on tap. Would have been nice to try some local brews. That’s the only dig. Otherwise great!

I came here because I decided to give their burgers another try since I’ve deserted them for Farm burger. I came on a Friday at 6pm with my son to meet a friend right in the beginning of dinner rush. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman and seated promptly. The server showed up within seconds of being seated and returned with the beverages just as quickly. Everyone ordered burgers cooked medium and I had a side salad and my son and friend had fries. The burgers were delicious, juicy and well seasoned with the right toastiness on the bun. The salad was interesting and fun with Asiago cheese, carrots, edamame, walnuts, and toasted sunflower seeds. The toasting really makes all the difference, the salad was so good. The fries were real and tasty as well. Great food, great service, even the manager stopped by to ensure our food was satisfactory. Will be back again.

Just finished my first meal here. My husband said he is «Thanksgiving full» from the Brunch. Everything on our plate(s) was A-W-AWESOME! Our waitress, Jerrietta, took exceptional care of our entire family. We didn’t WAIT for anything. We will be back. Thank you!

I have been to Marlow’s many times, including this particular location, and have left satisfied. I have never been wow’ed, and I am thoroughly confused by some of these other reviews(best meal they’ve ever had? really?). Anyway. The service and food has been getting worse with each visit. I will keep my review to our most recent visit this previous Sunday. First, they changed how they are making/presenting some of their items, including the firecracker shrimp appetizer. Please change it back to just including both sauces on the side. Now, if I don’t like a sauce, I’m forced to eat it anyway. There was nothing wrong with it before, why change it? Second, and I am not exaggerating here, they brought me brown avocado — TWICE! I couldn’t stomach even looking at it on my plate, and asked our server if she could bring me some that wasn’t brown. She brought back a plate and said, I quote, «we just don’t have fresh stuff right now». Seriously? You actually said that? I understand you didn’t purchase said avocado, but you knew how it looked TWICE, and you still brought it out. That should not have left the kitchen. I would have accepted, «we are out of avocado right now, would you still like the salad without it?» Lastly, the service was mediocre. Not just because of the issue above, but because we waited an extended period of time for our drinks, including a glass of water(after seeing other tables receive their drinks and water, yet we were left waiting). We have decided we will not frequent this location any longer because the service and food has gone down in quality. And, they aren’t charging small prices either. To boot, there was a very rude family playing an iPhone movie/show(on a loud volume) to their 1 year old the entire time! I should have said something, but I bit my tongue. The manager did remove the salad from our bill, and the server offered a free appetizer(we actually had received a free appetizer the last time because they flat out forgot it). However, I would prefer not to experience these issues, as I am happy paying for everything we order as long as we enjoy it and have a good experience.

Excellent service from the time you open the door… This was my first time eating at Marlows Tavern and I was absolutely blow away by the customer service, atmosphere and food. I had the black n blue burger with freshly fried okra. The burger was cooked to perfection the okra fried nicely. I must say i cleaned my plate. Will be coming back.

Great gastropub serving terrific food with multiple options for a vegetarian that were not just included on the menu as an after thought, with the flexibility of modifying an item to your liking. The black bean burger made into a melt with the truffle fries hit the spot. Wine selection is also a lot better than expected. Friendly staff and great location that did not feel«strip mall» like at all.

The brunch here is amazing on Sundays! They constantly switch up the items offered such as raspberry french toast vs blueberry etc etc you get the idea. Also, bottomless mimosas! Parking kinda sucks as it is a decent sized lot but shared with LOTS of other businesses. Bottomline — would definitely return!

Another big hitter for dinner today: ahi tuna poke, crab cake and shrimp with grit cake all great dishes plenty of food and great flavor! Located in a small strip of stores with great out door space and out door bar seating. Greeter was pleasant and gentleman who waited on is was great, knowledgable about the beers and prompt with return to table. Beer and wine list was extensive enough to find something great to drink and atmosphere A plus!

Someone greets you as you walk in. It’s a family friendly environment or a local bar at night sometimes with live entertainment. I enjoy the food and the drinks. They are moderately priced. The lighting is low at night and they have natural light during the day from their sun porch eating area. When I first moved to the area from up north. This was my favorite spot. The also have a lunch club so be sure to ask for a card. The only down fall I would say is sometimes is can be a bit noisy. Also there is pictures in the rest room I interpret as a little racial satire which I don’t like. Maybe because I’m a northerner or a social worker. Other than that I enjoy this place 3 – 4 stars for cleanliness. I love their hummus and baramundi fish my fiancé loves the meatloaf. My child loves the corn grits w a little kick.

Marlow’s is my friendly neighborhood eatery. I frequent the Vinings location 3 – 5 times per month. I don’t really consider it a «tavern», since its more upscale than the average burger pub. I am always impressed with their menu regardless of the season. My usual go-to is the tavern salad with grilled chicken. Ingredients are rotated based on the season and availability, right now they are serving it with pear, butternut squash, pumpkin seeds and a delicious herb vinaigrette. I’ve also had their shrimp & grits, turkey meatloaf, chicken stacks and prime rib sandwich. My favorite time of year to go is during Cajun week which is in March. They make a mean Jambalaya. You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu, including their house cocktails, which are amazing. My personal favorite is ‘The Saint’, which is a Hendricks Gin based cocktail with lemon and sage. The staff is friendly and quick with requests. A combination their service and high quality food keeps me coming back week after week. They have a few locations around Metro-Atlanta, but they are far from a ‘chain’ restaurant. If you are looking for a laid-back place to grab a great meal and a few drinks, I would recommend Marlow’s Vinings.

This place to me is like Chillis before being privet equity flipped a few times. They are pretty consistent and the brunch is really pretty good. Its a great way to go if you are really hungry. At different instances i have had funnel cake sticks, french toast sticks, fried chicken nuggets coated in a sweet waffle like crust, crab cake benedict, decent cheese grits, omeletes and if you can make it mini desserts.

This is the first time I’ve come here for brunch. I arrived at 11am or so on Easter Sunday so I expected a big wait. I guess because this place is tucked off cobb parkway most people don’t know about it. We only waited 10 minutes for a table. We sat on the covered patio and were greeted promptly. Our waiter was good but he forgot a few things here and there i.e. my waffle. No big deal, they were a little busy. The brunch was $ 27 and it was buffet style. The waiter informed us that it was a larger variety than normal. I walked inside and the floor was super slippery. Ladies if you are wearing heels beware! On second thought, my friend was wearing flat dress shoes and he almost slipped as well. I got in line and grabbed eggs, cheesy grits, chicken strips, biscuits, rice and Mahi, and spicy potatoes. I ate everything expect the mahi for some reason. Take note, all protein is cut into small portions except the lamb chops. They also had peel and eat shrimp, chicken salad, carrot medley and squash medley, bacon and sausage, ham, amd a dessert bar. Back at the table I used the omelet order card to order an omelet with green and red onions, caramelized onions, spinach, and cheese. I also ordered a waffle. Everything was delicious. Especially the eggs and biscuits surprisingly. The waffle was pretty good too. The coffee was great. I also went back and got fruit yummmm. The chicken tenders started getting a little gray on the inside so I didn’t eat too many of those. I took off a star for that and for the dangerously slippery floor. I’d go back though for sure.

I like Marlow’s Tavern!!! I’ve been to the Kennesaw location many times, the food is good and the drinks are great. My hunni and I decided to visit this location recently one Saturday evening, the place was completely packed, we had a 50 minute wait that turned into a 20 minutes wait with was better that 50 minutes. I think they should have a waiting area, I mean there was an occupied bench on the outside, but no other seating otherwise… so we ended up standing around the front door area with 6 other people — can you say ACKWARD! We ended up being seated on the patio which was petty nice, they had the heaters blazing(after my first Sangria I asked it they could cut them completely off). They had live music –always NICE! My hunni ordered a chicken stack, which was 2 grilled chicken breast seated on top of a bed of other items, it was delish! I was in the mood for a good olé Burger, so I order the Double Cheese burger(double cheese, Not Meat –lol) and a couple of sangria’s, the drinks were great, no bitterness… the red wine that was used had to have been sweet… they were full of chopped fruit… must try!(Don’t get the Carafe, buy it by the glass, you will get more). The food was good, I’m not a big fan of the fries, but this is definitely a spot that we will be visiting again soon.

Busy lunch location but great food. Had the prime rib sandwich and it was great! Attire was casual but a lot of busy attire was their also. Expect to spend more for lunch than the random lunch stops, this is more of a solid fine lunch location. My peer that went me has been many times and said she has never had a bad meal, and I have always trusted her judgment.

Friends and I were looking for a place to grab a drink with no particular craving for dinner. We chose this since it was close to all of us. It was my first time at one and the service was actually really awesome, but the menu was okay. My sandwich was pretty yummy and the fries were crisp. It’s a good stopover for those you want to catch up with if you don’t mind all the noise.

I get no pleasure writing a disdainful review but sometimes it’s a must. Unfortunately, this will never be a Unilocal review of the day since Marlow’s is probably a paid Unilocal customer and I forgot, it’s a one star experience in my case. What actually brought me in were some of the glowing reviews from other helpers aka Unilocalers but I should not have relied on the Vinings Unilocalers. I got here about 10 pm after a busy day and was appalled with the service. Justin Mobley and his bartender need to seriously be sent to a server seminar and financially penalized by corporate Marlows. I headed to the bar and there were 3 other people seated eating/watching the Mets NLDS game against the Dodgers and catching the end of that game and MNF with some food as was my intention. There was a gentleman seated next to me who ordered a turkey sandwich and sat there chewing with this his mouth wide open and smacking while talking on the phone. He was properly given a send off with a handshake and see you soon. Ok cool, maybe a regular. There was another guy from Queens, NY who was an avid mets fan rooting his team on with some tall boy PBRs and was given a proper au revoir. He just moved to this area from New York a couple months ago and was gracious to me about my liberty pizza recommendation to him. Another customer who asked for a jack and coke after closing time, was denied and threw his card at the bar was given a thank you handshake. I ordered a beer, asked if the wifi was working, and had the menu taken from me at 10:38 pm with about 6 words barely muttered to me. I asked the bartender if there was a minimum amount I had to spend to receive service and that really set him and his manager off. Maybe I’m used to Houstons/Canoe/Pappadeuax bar service in this particular Smynings region but I’ve gotten better service at Checkers on Hollowell/Bankhead. The funniest thing is when I got pissed and mentioned Unilocal they tried to make things up to me. How little do they know then vindictiveness I have with bad service. I rarely give a crap about service, I’ve lived out of the al pastor joints in Mexico and pakora stands in India. However, Mobley’s bartender and Mobley’s inability to resolve the situation were ridiculous. I’ll keep driving past here to Canoe.

I’ve visited several Marlow’s locations around Atlanta, and am always impressed. Great service, good food without being too fussy or complicated(and knows how to do the basics well), and consistent across locations and visits. I’ve had just about everything on the menu: fish tacos, burgers, salads, and drinks. Everything is good, and I like how you can get a side salad without being upcharged. I haven’t had to send anything back to be redone(yet). I do feel it’s a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, I suppose. I can’t justify more than 4 stars because Marlow’s isn’t at the top of the list when I think of places to eat. It’s usually one of those, «What’s nearby? Oh, there’s a Marlow’s. Want to do that?» Rather than, «I NEED to go to Marlow’s tonight!!»

New to GA, I had no idea that you cannot order alcohol before 12:30PM. So I showed up to Sunday brunch at 11:00, very disappointed that I could not take advantage of the all you can drink mimosas. That being said, I ended up leaving and coming back! They serve their all you eat brunch on sundays from opening until 11:30AM. Be aware that you can only eat their buffet and not off their menu. After 11:30AM, you can order off their normal menu and still do the buffet brunch if you want. So I came back with my friend at 12:30PM. We took advantage of $ 15 mimosas. It’s worth it if you plan on having at least 2 mimosas. And just so you know, they put waaaaaay too much OJ and not enough champagne, so you’ll definitely have more than 2. That was my only gripe: The mimosas were not mixed evenly. I asked if they could put more champagne but they said the drinks were«pre-made». Don’t know what that means. I ordered the veggie burger with fries and it was really good. The patty was delicious! Overall, it was a decent meal, but I wouldn’t go back from mimosas there again.

My boyfriend and I came here specifically for the Sunday brunch buffet. Note the second b-word: buffet. Not all Marlow’s have the buffet, so call ahead of time of your desired location to confirm. There was a nice variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner items, much of what you would expect at a brunch: scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole, sausage and crispy bacon, biscuits and sawmill gravy, crab cake egg benedict, salad, chicken piccata, french toast, pastries, maple fried chicken(love!), mashed potatoes, steak fajitas(?), made-to-order omelettes and belgian waffles. Most favorite item for me was the maple fried chicken. This was all thigh meat chunks, so no bones and you can definitely taste the maple flavor. I think I probably ate nearly 8 – 10 pieces of these nuggets. Eventually, I topped my waffle with them so I had my own«chicken and waffles.» I think I had low expectations because Marlow’s is a chain now. It’s all you can eat for $ 20, so not bad. Some other notes: — The front entrance gets crowded mainly because the brunch line starts at the doorway. — Made-to-order omelettes and waffles can be placed with your waiter so you don’t have to stand at a station. However, not sure if it was our waiter or the volume of orders, but it took a while to get our omelette/waffle. Overall, not a bad choice. Quality was just about right if not better than I expected. I would come back again if given the choice, but I still kind of like going to Local 3’s brunch. I would still come back again though just for the chicken.
