This station is in historical West End. The area is changing in the right direction. Ample parking and two stops from downtown Atlanta. I usually get off here to go to West End Medical Center which is a short walk down the street. West End Mall is also across the street.

This is not the worst Marta Station out there, but definitely not the best. It’s one of those stations that’s upstairs on a top-​covered, open breezeway platform. It’s one of the the worst stations to be at during the cold or rainy seasons.
Also, there is ALWAYS someone standing outside the station begging for money. I have occassionally seen law enforcement walking around this station, but I never see anything being done about the beggars outside. It makes me so uncomfortable and a little fearful to have to encounter these people everyday before I get on the bus or train… but maybe that’s just me?
