I rarely do McDs anymore, but wanted a coffee and a bite and thought, «why not.» Now I remember why I don’t. They were super busy, but it’s Sat morning, it’s East Atlanta and it’s busy everywhere, so that did not bother me. What did bother me was how super unorganized the crew seemed in the automated space behind the counter. The prep of the food hardly takes any thought, yet it still demanded twice the time and half the courtesy to get it. By the time I got to the counter, and the cashier was as nice as a a terrified doe could be. Waiting wasted the small window of time I had, so all I had time for, and really wanted was a coffee with cream and sugar. What I saw next made me cringe. The cashier got a cup, got a bag of sugar and poured it directly into the cup, no measurement mind you. She then poured powered Creamer, that was previously poured in a McDs cup, into the coffee. Let me just say here, there are few beverage pleasures I have left, coffee with half/half is one of them. When I asked for it H/H the manager explained that they no longer have it. They have light Creamer and it’s powdered. The cashier and manager were nice enough to ask if I still wanted it. I took it because neither, technically, did anything wrong. That little cost cutting switch was a corporate decision. So, I’m giving the location 3 stars because I think the crew does the best they can given the mass of people who were there and the environment in which they work. If I actually bought the food, I’m sure I would have been satisfied with it, as much as I could have been satisfied with the taste of a flavored, salty, fatty, textured eatible item. And although I did accept the coffee, it never passed my lips. I gave it to someone whose blood sugar level could tolerate the blow, and eventually went somewhere else.

It’s McDonald’s, but the service is so slow it’s worth writing a review. I don’t fancy in fast food too much, but I avoid this place at all cost just for the simple fact that it’s not fast. Inside service is slow, drive-thru is slower.

No better. Unfortunately was in a hurry. Longer lines at the much better Wendy’s and VASTLY superior Cook Out.

Unilocal keeps prompting me with the following for this business: «You’ve checked in here three times! What keeps you coming back?» The answer is simple: $ 1 for a large diet coke with light ice, served relatively promptly through a massive drive thru, making it so I never have to leave my car. Whenever I’m in need of fast and tasty carbonated carcinogens, this is where I head.

It’s McDonald’s so I’m not looking for a culinary revolution. If I go here, I’m try to get something fast. Hands down the SLOWEST… THESLOWEST McDonald’s I’ve been to ever.

it’s unfortunate for me, that I’m having to give this locating atleast a 1 star. thats a lot higher than I wanted to give. before I started highshool in ’99. my *dream was to work at mcdonalds bc I loved the food so much. why, I don’t know. I got the job, I worked at the mcdonalds on hwy 78 going toward stone mountain… this is the summer before freshman year for me. I was brought up to give excellent customer service. I walk into this mcdonalds, there is no welcoming vibe. no welcoming«hi! welcome to mcdonalds! :] « the only acknowledgement that I get is «next, what do you want?» is it like this at every mcdonalds? — this is the closest mcdonalds to my house and frankly, I’ve had the same«welcoming» experience each time I’ve visited this mcdonalds, whether walk-in or drive-thru. is this just mcdonalds’ in atlanta or outside of atlanta the«welcoming» experience gets more«welcoming»? I’m sorry but, I don’t feel so welcome, I feel more like, let me get you what you want then, get out of my line kinda way. no matter what the job is, take pride in doing it, and make a customer feel welcome… this is not how I feel here ever. and mcdonalds employees want a huge pay raise, and are going on strike??? please?! greet me with a smile and then talk about a pay raise. and no dollar raise at that… I understand professions such as child daycare and even dog day care(which is the field I’m in) — I’m sorry but taking orders and flipping burgers you should not be entitled to a pay raise/increase if you can’t even smile during the customers experience. you flip burgers and push buttons. unlike childcare and doggy daycare, we actually have some type of an importance to society. you, you’re just helping people get fat, why pay raise that? atleast try by putting a smile on your face, society fakes it all the time, why can’t you? so, before you try and picket and go on strike, look at the big people jobs around you. I went above and beyond mcdonalds, so can you. so, try and work harder towards something than a slack ass job as mcdonalds to try and get your easy way of a pay raise. there are homeless people who can do your job, and they’d be greatful to have food to atleast look at right now. so, settle for your minimum wage. and stop bitching. either like what you do, or pretend, bc most people in America do what they gotta do to survive and will fake a smile to please those who they are serving. please make an effort to make our experience a little more enjoyable. hey, just an eye opener, servers only make 2.13 an hour. please complain some more.

It’s McDonald’s. I wasn’t planning to write a review. However, the SIX flies congregated on the menu board behind the counter cashier prompted me to do so. When I asked the cashier why there were so many flies flying around back there, she said they were coming through the open drive thru window. That actually made sense to me, I glanced to see if I saw any in the food prep area, I didn’t, so I proceeded on. There was one cashier line open, and a very long line waiting to order. There appeared to be plenty of people working. Staff was pleasant. Self-serve drink station wasn’t clean. Had residue around the soda spouts and some tiny flying bugs around the area. Tables in dining area dirty. Had to clean one myself to sit down. Had to shoo flies the entire time I ate. Not a pleasant dining experience.

This McDonald’s is THE reason why I no longer eat at Mickey D’s. Late at night after the lights go up on last call at nameless EAV pubs, bars, dives, and music venues, droves of drunken hipsters jam into the newly renovated duel drive thru shouting garbled orders for big mac’s and quarter-pounder’s if they can manage not to pass out at the wheel(no joke, this happens) This alone would atone for the drive thru staff’s foul and uncaring attitude. Early in the morning as the sun rises the experience at this McDonald’s does not improve, nor does the staff’s attitude. During the morning rush while the usual day laborers and nine-to-five’ers mill about sipping coffee and polishing the last of the grease from there lips after hash brown number 3 the dining room becomes a haven for some of the neighborhood’s more than colorful characters make it there own escaping from the morning frost while aimless news stories scroll by on the TV on the wall blaring out CNN… the staff seems to turn a blind eye to this as they panhandle would be customers for change and use the bathroom as a shower for a light sponge bath. In all, if you want to ingest hockey puck burgers, faux chicken, and overly salted fries all the while being sassed by one of the visor wearing register jockeys or vagrants this newly renovated Mickey D’s has got to be visited at any hour!

The workers here are rude. They are talking about customers after they leave in front of the other customers. The lines are ridiculous and there’s only one register open. There’s several employees here standing around with nothing to do. There is a dining room attendant but the dining room is filthy. Very disorganized. It’s not clear who’s in charge. Employees are rude to each other in front of the customers, arguing about the orders. The only thing good about this location is the renovations. It is a new model store. I’m sure that’s why the health score is a 98. This was probably done right after they reopen from the renovations. I’m sure if the health inspector came through today it would not be the same score. I do not recommend this location I will not be back. Also witnessed an employee go to the restroom and leave out without washing their hands. Just disgusting!!!

I frequently visit this McDonalds for a quick bite to eat before going home. It has recently gone through a major, well needed renovation. This has been a major upgrade, but it still didn’t solve the tight parking and the challenging entrance /exit off of Sanders Ave., this can be quite hairy at times. This McDonalds has a 24 hour drive thru that can be convenient for late night food after hitting East Atlanta. I have found service to be fast the majority of the time, they do have the occasional hiccup. The drive-thru seems to get priority service over the counter all the time. Expect to wait longer at the counter! I don’t understand that, but its we way things seem to work at this McDonalds. Glad we have a Mickey D’s here in East Atlanta — just wish it had a better parking situation and faster counter.

I think they do alright here but I feel like I’m paying more there than at other locations. Everything is decent and quick. I’ve never had any major problems and the staff are courteous.

yeah… so this one. what shall i say about this location. should i mention that at some times the cars literally wrap around the building, trapping all the cars on the moreland side in. i was so psyched to get me some fruit and nut oatmeal from here this morning. when i finally got my order, the container was filled to the rim with freaking water. are you kidding me!!! instant oatmeal is so freaking easy to make, how could you mess it up. really! so i asked for one with less water and they told me to park in the designated spots for waiting customers. i did so, and after 5 minutes of waiting i walked my pretty little self inside to get my oatmeal. it then took me another 7 minutes to back out of that designated spot b/c, as mentioned b/f, the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. 8 minutes later at home i enjoyed my awesome $ 1.99 serving of fruit and nut mcdonald’s instant oatmeal. it was actually almost as good as starbucks oatmeal. ahhhh…i love oatmeal Yum! no seriously… yummy :-)

A 24-hour McDonald’s located in close proximity to EAV. You’d think it’d be an oasis for those of us who fall victim to the heavy handed bartenders at Mary’s. But you’d be wrong. Instead, the drive through line wraps around the building at 3AM, admittedly slightly in part to the drivers who may pass out on their steering wheels while they wait(no joke), but moreso because of the absolute ineptitude of the staff here. Then, when you finally reach the intercom, your dreams of hot and salty fries or a burger are crushed: breakfast only. BREAKFAST, people. What you need at 11am on a Sunday(note, past when it’s actually served), not at 3am when your clothes reek of smoke and your ears are ringing from a concert or crazy karaōke. Sorry. Lame.

All I wanted is a quick fried fix for my hangover– instead I got to wait in line for 15 minutes with a killer headache. Every time I hit this place up it takes the worker bees forever. I mean come on, how long does it take to bag up some nuggets(yeah, they maybe nasty but they suck up alcohol better than any other food) and fries? As far as McDonalds goes you know what you are getting, you will just wait a lot longer to get it here.
