Very helpful, reasonably priced, friendly and fast turn-​around. I blew the power supply in my windows mini tower, and they had it up and running quickly. While I was waiting, I overheard them warn a prospective customer that a repair was likely to be expensive *if* they could even obtain the necessary part. I very much appreciated their upfront business ethics.

Marvelous, professional, efficient, proven, quality workmanship and service. After reading all the reviews here on Unilocal for good places to get a laptop fixed and they definitely did a world’s apart service compared to my former techie in NY. Now the laptop runs quiet, fast like brand new and no error messages. They were very friendly, honest, professional, and helpful answering all questions on the phone and in person as well as very patient in taking the time to listen to all my concerns about the laptop. They called me two days later as they said they would and told me what was going on and their suggestions and am very happy. Now my laptop runs like brand new and they are very close to my residence down the street! Thank you Metro Computer :)

Great experience and service here. The guys are so helpful and professional. My Toshiba laptop crashed and Michael saved all my docs to an external drive and then reloaded Windows. He explained everything to me during the service and when I picked my laptop up. Fees were clear before work was done. They were quick too. Highly recommend.

I had TWO five star experiences with the Midtown location. They know what they’re doing and give good advice for cost-​effective solutions. In one case, the motherboard needed replacement to solve the problem. The guy told me straight out that it wasn’t worth it. I would definitely use them again.

I had a pretty decent experience with them. My problem was that I bought my PC in over a weekend and it took a bit to get it back. It runs like a champ now and they guys that helped me were A#1

Avoid this place at all costs. The people that work here write fake reviews in order to fool unknowing potential customers such as myself. I live in the area off of Peachtree Rd running a small family-​based business. I bought my cracked-​screen macbook in to have to screen replaced. Simple, right? Wrong. They returned my macbook to me after charging me much higher than other computer shops in the area. A week later the screen was completely lose and would barely support itself and stay open. I bought my computer back to the shop thinking that it would be a quick curteous fix on their part. WRONG. They tried to charge me $ 75 to tighten the screws that they didn’t tighten correctly the first time. Don’t say you weren’t warned When it comes to your computer expect better service. GO ELSEWHERE!

Great and quick service, I left my sony vaio Thursday evening and the next monday it was ready, they replaced the screen.

I have taken my computer to Metro Computer a few times for a repair. All the technicians are friendly, honest and knowledgeable. They work quickly and charge a fair price as well. I had basically nearly destroyed my computer after a long trip and they patched it right up nicely. Then, I had some hardware crashes. They fixed the first one and then when it happened again they fixed it free of charge. I recently just got a new computer and they were very prompt in getting it back to me with all my data on it. I will be returning should I need anything done with my phone or computer.

I was very pleased with the service I received at Metro computers. They were friendly, very nice store and I feel like they were very honest. My wife’s laptop keyboard had stopped working and when I dropped it off they said they may need to replace the keyboard. I got a call two days later that the laptop was fixed and that the only thing wrong with it was that a wire had come loose.
They could have easily told me the keyboard was bad, replaced it, charged me a whole lot more and I would of never know. If you have problems with your computer or iPad I would definitely suggest checking out Metro computers.

consulted with another service which told me that it was” too complicated would take a lot of hours probably involved damaged hardware and could not do job”…just moved back to Atlanta did not know anyone for sure… saw Metro and their reviews so decided to go to them… and i was not sorry… they did the job quickly and perfectly my computer is whizzing along… were fortunate to have real professionals like these guys here in Atlanta !!!

Wow. Awesome dudes. I went in at 5pm on a Friday afternoon to drop of a macbook pro with a shattered screen. I was told by an apple store that it would be upwards of $ 700 to replace and I might as well buy a new computer. I saw the good reviews of this place and decided to give it a shot. I told them I was in no hurry to get the laptop back, but I also showed them my faulty iphone 5. Somehow my screen was being pushed out by the battery. They fixed my phone while I waited and actually stayed open 45 min longer than their normal hours. And since I was getting 2 pieces repaired, they gave me 20% off and a big discount on a new battery for my phone. So all in all, I got a new macbook screen, a new iphone screen, a new battery, and all the labor for $ 300. The service was amazing and I will definitely recommend Metro Computer to everyone I know.

I believe that Jesus Christ himself brought Metro Computers to my attention as I was searching for repair shops for my Mac Book Pro because they were truly a Godsend! About a year ago, a family member spilled beer on my laptop and it had been on a slow decline ever since. I found Metro Computers on Google and decided to give them a try after reading the numerous positive reviews. They truly did not disappoint. After having the keyboard replaced as well as the hard drive and RAM upgraded, I was expecting to faint from sticker shock over the price; however, Metro Computers provided me with fast and excellent service at an amazing price for parts and labor. Michael and Vu even provided me with tips and additional software to help my computer run more efficiently — not to mention a case for my old hard drive so that it can now serve as external storage. After my experience, my BF is now excited about having his Mac Book upgraded with them as well. This, from now on, will be my go-​to spot for all things Apple. Great job, Metro Computers!

After a small spill of coffee on my Macbook, Metro Computer was able to clean up the damage, replace the keyboard and have me back in business in under 3 hours. Very happy with the service and technicians!

I went to Metro in 2011 to have them fixed my desktop PC. I was happy with their service, so I decided to use them again three years later.
I had dropped my Macbook a few days ago, and I noticed that it wasn’t running that great since the fall. I told Vu, one of Metro’s technicians, about my problem, and he told me that it would take at least two days because of how backed up they were.
Metro underpromised and overdelivered! They had my computer fixed the next day!!! The bill ended up being under $ 130 which I was happy about. The other technician was extra customer friendly as he gave me tips on keeping my computer up to speed.
Although I’m a web designer who knows more than the average joe about computers, I prefer not to fool with computer repair. As long as I am in Atlanta, I plan on using these guys every time I have hardware issues, and I plan on referring anybody in the area who needs their computer fixed.

I’m a few months late on writing this review, but the tail end of 2013 was just bananas for me. One of my late 2013 complications was our home PC computer was moving at a snails pace, I couldn’t even check gmail without some issue. It would randomly shut down. We thought we had a virus.
My husband wanted to just chuck it and spend 3K on a new macbook (still does). But I found midtown Metro Computer and said, «lets just see what they say, our home PC is only 3 years old». Turns out our hard drive was going bad. So they replaced our hard drive (preserved all the content that was on it), and we were back in business! Our computer now runs super fast again, and all we had to do was replace the hard drive for just a few hundred dollars (we had a terabyte hard drive)! Much cheaper than buying a new computer and upgrading all our software!
If you are having computer issues, take your computer to metro computer, I was very impressed!

My computer’s OS one day decided to stop loading all of the sudden. Needless to say, as someone who had stuff due in the middle of the semester, this was not good.
I didn’t feel like driving all the way out to the north side of town like I normally do when my computer gives me problems so I was very pleased to have stumbled across this place of business.
These guys do great work and had my PC back to me in less than three days time for me. They even upgraded my version of Windows 7 from 32bit to 64 at no additional charge. Not to mention tracking down a new product key for me when my old one wouldn’t work. Overall I’m really pleased with there services and will definitely go back again in the future (just not anytime soon hopefully)

When your computer breaks down and you don’t know what the hell is going on, it can be distressing to say the least. I took my macbook air to the apple store a few times and was told on two separate occasions that the problem couldn’t be duplicated. On the third, they said I had «severe liquid damage» and that I needed to replace my innards at a cost of about $ 700.00. I declined the repair and a few months later, my computer started acting up again. I was all prepared to shell out my hard earned money to Apple and then I decided to call Metro Computer.
I took my beloved computer to Metro believing the repair would cost several hundred dollars. I also worried they would find something else wrong and tell me that I’d need to retire my less than two-​year old macbook air.
Long story short, the total repair cost about $ 100.00 and it works like new. Turns out my hard drive was over full and was causing the computer to crash every time I booted up.
The technicians were great, even tempered (a must when dealing with emotional clients) and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Metro computer.
