I absolutely love this place and come with my girlfriends often. It’s definitely fru-fru and has a very whole foods feel but the food is delicious and the price is reasonable. I like how quickly you get your food and the portions are great for me. I recommend this for brunch or lunch near Piedmont Park!

Excellent customer service, even during a heavy lunch time. The staff continually reminded me that the menu changes daily. I tried most of the items! The highlight was the soup; chicken & shrimp gumbo!!! This soup was heavenly… I tried the gluten free muffin and it was good! The kale salad had a delightful taste and a slight kick of spice! Maybe red peppers??? The chicken breast was lacking seasoning, but had a great taste!!! They offer drinks and even an open bar… I would highly recommend!!!

Unique and fresh options. I like to come here for lunch as I work close by. The menu changes daily so I like to drop in when I see something I might want to try on their website(They update their website daily to show what they’re serving that day DUH. but nonetheless super convenient!) I typically get their sides instead of their soups or sandwiches and everything I’ve tried were all very good– Good size portions and«healthier» choices. If taking to-go, line usually goes quick and your in and out of there– The only thing I HATE about coming here is the PARKING. Lunch hours on a weekday, it’s chaotic in the parking lot with all the restaurants, starbucks, and trader joes right next to it. I think I drove around and around 10 times before I could catch a car leaving without someone already speeding to park into it.

A disappointment. Really expensive for what you get. The girl behind the counter was talking to us and scratching her arm over our two plates. My fish was good enough – but overcooked and my boyfriend’s chicken mole was not really a mole except by name. employees were nice. Each dish comes with a side, neither of our sides was half as good as a side you might get in the Whole Foods buffet. The price was $ 15.96 per dish which is ludicrous when comparing quality and price to places like Superica(where gourmet steak tacos are $ 15.95) or Gios Chicken(where a huge plate of perfectly juicy lemon chicken, or a clean fresh plate of pasta is also $ 15.95 both of which come with an exquisite side salad). If you are going to charge these prices, then you need to step up your game. We’ll probably never eat here again. Service was nice and the space was clean(and almost empty because people probably know better than to eat here). Free parking in the TJs parking lot. I think Atlantian Unilocalers are too generous with their ratings and some places like MetroFresh have raving reviews which is a huge disappointment when someone actually goes and eats here.

Anyone who can make kale yummy is a wizard as far as I’m concerned. Its apparent everything on the menu is made with love, and I go here every chance I get, which basically means breakfast and/or lunch two days a week. The menu changes daily but consists of about a half dozen breakfast options until 11, and about as many salads, sandwiches, and full blown dinner entrees. Prices are reasonable considering everything on the menu is fresh(obviously) and probably at least one of the following: local, organic, sustainable, recyclable, fairly traded, filtered, hormone free, or eco-conscious. The décor is cute and looks expensive. The chairs and barstools all have backs(hooray) and the tables don’t wobble. These are hallmarks of a good restaurant to me. The patio is clean and comfortable and has a designated«dog park-ing» lol. A foodie would have to look hard and long to find something wrong with this place. A+

After enduring a delicious, yet unhealthy two weeks of business lunches, I decided that I would like to live past the age of 60 and dine at an establishment with more green in their menu. And ever since then, I’ve returned three or four times to MetroFresh. *** I. FOOD&DRINK With Soups, salads, sandwiches, and the like, there’s pretty much something for everyone there. Things I’ve had: *Duck Sausage Breakfast Burrito: After eating this menu special for the first time, I’m pretty sure I received my protein for the entire week. So. Much. Meaty. Awesomeness. Plus it had egg, cheese, and other amazing goodies in there. You know your mouth is drooling… **Cream Corn Soup: The only face-mask I would ever wear with my girlfriend would be one made of this cream corn soup. Perfectly sweet and salty, amazing texture, I could go on… But I won’t.(Please have this as a regular menu item.) **Salad & Specialty Sides: I’ve eaten so many, I’d rather not breakdown each one. All you have to know is that they’re very palatable, super reasonably priced, they usually come with lunch specials, and have generous portions. ***Iced Coffee: Pretty good — not too acidic. I’m waiting for the day that they’ll make a cold press. Then I’ll be in there every week. II. SERVICE I’ve never had a problem with the wonderful and smiley staff there. They must love their jobs. III. ATMOSPHERE/DÉCOR Both inside and outside seating exist. The design is a chic and modern look that feels very casual. This place also screams«everything here is really good for you.» I like. IV. PRICES Considering the quality of the food and location(Midtown), I’m incredibly surprised how reasonably priced everything is. I can purchase a solid meal, somewhere between $ 8-$ 15. Not bad at all. V. OVERALL MetroFresh has become my go-to, when I need something healthy and on the go. Thanks, Unilocal, for letting me know about this place so close to my home! Can’t wait to return.

I searched Unilocal for«healthy restaurants» and MetroFresh was in the list of results. I checked the website and liked the meal options that were being served that day, so I decided to check it out. Everything was certainly fresh, and delicious. I didn’t realize the sandwiches are served in halves, though(totally wasn’t paying attention while they bagged my order). My husband and I were bummed because the turkey sandwich on cheddar focaccia was awesome. Everyone there was super friendly. Between MetroFresh, Ah-Ma’s, and Trader Joe’s this little shopping center is one of my faves in the city.

Came here for the first this for brunch last Saturday with a group of friends. It was a beautiful day and so we opted for outside seating. There were lots of little tables plus a big high top for large groups or that could be shared. It’s a casual, go up and order at the counter place. They’ll hand you your food there if it’s something ready they serve out at the counter, or they will bring it to your table if it’s something they have to prepare. I’ll point out that I did not choose this place, and when we got there and the girl who did declared that it was lots of yummy healthy food… I’ll admit I was a little skeptical. I like greasy traditional brunch foods(brunch is two meals in one, so you’re allowed to splurge, right? =)). But the menu had a lot of good looking options. I ended up getting the Sarah Special, which I think changes. That day it was 2 eggs, some sort of sausage(it may have been turkey, can’t remember) over a bed of arugula, topped with avocado sauce. It was pretty yummy and relatively filling. I’d definitely have it again… if they had it again anyway =).

This is a great place to dine if you’re looking for healthier food options during the lunch day. They remind me of Souper Jenny but more trendy and modern than her homey aesthetic. I ate there often before I moved to California and the other day when I found myself in the Monroe street plaza looking for a healthy food option, they popped into my head. Lucky for me they had my favorite soup on deck, Thai Coconut Tofu. It’s such a delicate and mild flavored soup. I just love the light sweetness imparted by the coconut. The bread game is strong too. Always get a whole wheat baguette for dunking. In addition to the soup we got a side of cheese tortellini with mixed broccolini, tomato and red onion. The salad game is also strong! With moderate pricing(healthy food cost more) and a cute atmosphere, it’s perfect for a lunch date and probably even a dinner date(they serve wine).

Two halves does not equal a whole. Went here for lunch and was overwhelmed by the menu board and options. Decided to make it simple and ordered a turkey sandwich. The lady behind the counter looked at me like she had never heard this before and asked«You mean a whole sandwich?». Yes, a whole sandwich. She put two premade half sandwiches on a plate and charged me 8 or 9 bucks. This place specializes in salads, soup, and sandwiches. I do not expect the soup or salads to be made to order, but why not the sandwich? Who wants a sandwich wrapped in plastic wrap? The sandwich was decent. Good ciabatta bread. Probably the best premade sandwich in Atlanta!
