Monarch Alterations & Tailoring

Farhad, the proprietor of Monarch Alterations is great. A guy that truly cares about the quality of his work to his customers. I had him work on all of my suits and my wife’s coats. I do not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that needs alterations. Fair price, not the fastest, but will always do a great job. The my only wish is that he offers more suggestions. It almost seems like he is hesitant to suggest additional value add services because he doesn’t want to come off as salesy.

I moved to Atlanta three years ago and had trouble finding a good tailor. I tried two places around the Buckhead area and I felt that I got ripped off each time. After moving to Monarch Plaza for work, I found Farhad and his wife, Roay, at Monarch Alterations. Farhad and Roay do an excellent job with all clothing types (i.e. suits, tuxes, shirts, causal pants, etc.). I brought him a few pairs of pants to custom fit and feel like I just received brand new pants in return at a very fair price. They are very friendly and will make sure that the customer is happy with the results. Even if you don’t work in Monarch (right across Peachtree Road from Lenox Mall), it is worth the trip. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I recommend all my co-​workers and friends to him.

Finding someone you trust with your fine clothes is not easy. I am very lucky to have Farhad in my building. I have been using him for several years now and would not go anywhere else. I am very particular about my suits and he has always done better then I expected. Even if you dont work in Monarch Plaza it is worth the trip to get high quality workmanship at a very fair price.

I Cannot say enough great things about Farhad and Monarch. I was introduced to him last year, and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my clothes. He has altered high end clothes for me, jeans, other pants, shirts, you name it. One of his most impressive works was tailoring an off the rack budget suit for me that looks nearly custom. I have been in Atlanta for 8 years and tried many tailors and can tell you with confidence that Farhad is one of the best in town. You won’t get a more professional-​friendlier tailor than him. I recommend all of my friends to him. His prices are very fair for the work he does too. If you go to him once, I promise you won’t feel comfortable going anywhere else. Farhad was recommended to me by a friend that had been going to him for years. I’ve never even considered using anyone else since I tried him out. Sometimes, I even take my clothes to Farhad when the retailer offers free alterations because I know that Farhad will do it right and he will go out of his way to make sure that I am happy with the results. He’s open every weekday and on Sundays from 12 to 6!

Farhad is a great tailor and an even better person. I’ve known him for a very long time. I’m very discriminating in terms of fit when it comes to menswear and Farhad has been able to cater to all my needs with no concerns. I recommend him highly.

I found Farhad through friends and have never looked back! I have been going to him for years now with everything possible — suits, shirts, jeans, even my bathing suits. You name it, and he will make it work. My wife goes to him now for her tailoring needs. I wish I would have known him years before. I can’t recommend him enough.

I have been going to Farhad for almost 15 years now… this after initially trying every other of Atlanta’s ‘première’ tailors. Farhad is an absolute master with clothes, which may seem like a ‘given’ for a good tailor. But what really sets Farhad apart is his patience, willingness to listen, and attention to the smallest of details. You don’t feel like you’re getting bullied into the tailor’s preference… or just getting processed through the shop as quickly as possible. Farhad has always been willing to modify alterations if they don’t turn out exactly right, and his prices always have been fair. I’ve recommended Farhad to 15+ other friends, and I’ve yet to hear anything but positive feedback. If you can find a better tailor in Atlanta, I’d be shocked.

I started going to Frahad when he was the master tailor at the Brooks Brothers in Lenox Mall, and excited that he has his own store now. He is as cheerful and helpful as he is hardworking and thorough. Great prices, old world service. You won’t be disappointed you gave him a try. Farhad has been my tailor for over 10 yrs now. I am extremely please with the work he has done for me over the years and I would recommend him to anyone. He has over 35 years of experience and it definitely shows in the his work. He is very friendly and his prices are more than reasonably especially for the area. I have never had problems with any of the items I have taken to him.
