I went to MRI& Imaging of West Paces to get an MRI of my spine for my orthopedic surgeon. Since I was a referral, MRI& Imaging of West Paces already had some of my information on file when I arrived. This lessened the paperwork, though I still had to complete some forms, which took no more than 10 minutes. My insurance benefits and coverage were pre-certified and confirmed before my arrival. I was the first appointment of the day and arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time. I didn’t have to wait long before the technologist, Dawn, called me to the back for my procedure. I changed into scrubs and was inserted into a metal tube where I had to lay still for about 35 minutes. During this time, giant magnets made loud noises while the machine took images of my spinal cord. I was given ear plugs to dampen the sound. I could not move the entire time I was in the machine. I was in and out of the office in just over one hour. The entire process was fast and efficient. No pre-op or injections were necessary for my particular procedure. I just had to show up. The MRI includes one copy of the images on film or CD. Additional copies are $ 30 each. Signs for the office on Howell Mill are not very clear. There are separate entrances to the parking deck for employees and visitors. Visitor parking, which is not validated, is free under 30 minutes and maxes out at $ 6 after one hour.

Went there for an MRI(uh… duh…) First, I called to make an appointment and I was told I had to wait for my insurance to send them the paperwork — fine… I waited for the promised call back… and I waited… and I waited… A week later I called back and the very same receptionist was HAPPY I called, had if fact been waiting for me to call. I asked«Why didn’t you call me?» Her response, «I do not have your number.» Me — «Do you have a copy of my referral?» Her — «Here in front of me.» Me — «Do you see my information in the top right corner?» Her — «Yes, I do» Me — «With my number listed? Her — «Oh… Yeah… Sorry.» If the Tech had not been so great(and that is what is really important) then I would have given a much lower rating. And she was really great. I saw the receptionist when I left and she was actually rude… AGAIN. Nice… not. There is nothing on the outside of the building to say it is in there… There is a small directory where you have to search(and search) for the suite number. Which is listed under something that is not MRI& Imaging of West Paces… really. They do not validate parking and it’s an MRI… expect to pay $ 6 for parking.
