Awesome customer service. I loved the self serve Shea butter set up. There are plenty of oils, butters, and other things you may need!

If you love and appreciate Afrocentric things, you will enjoy this store. My sister comes here every time she is in town as they carry her favourite oils. This time I visited the store and discovered that I love this place too, luckily I live within an hour drive of Mutana’s. The lady who works here was very helpful and able to describe a few items that I was wondering about. They carry books here as well, so if you have any questions about oils and what those oils do and are good for, they are able to help you. They carry a lot of natural soaps, many which are made right in the store. Their«Meeya» African Natura Black Soap is some incredible stuff. They have different types, we purchased their Patchouli version which is made with the essential oil extracts. Apparently it is used to help eczema, acne, cracked or chapped skin and inflammation, though I just like the smell. Here is a useful link for more information on the oil. Mutana’s also sells African art, incenses stinks(extremely reasonable in price, less than $ 2 each for a pack), they carry raw and unfiltered Shea butter as well as the filtered kind. The price for the Shea butter is just $ 1 per ounce or 16 ounces for $ 12. I’d highly recommend checking Mutana’s out, plus I like the fact this place is local and makes things right here in Atlanta. Love this place!!! They have the best oils. I always make a point to stop in when I’m in town and bring whoever is willing to go with me. I give them as gifts and often over thru the phone. Never an issue. They have a fresh juice bar in the back as well as good stash herbs, shea butter, soaps, fabric, incense, jewelry and other authentic African products.
