Food was good, 3 – 4 stars really. I forgot to mark down the name but I had the sautée with seafood, spinach and sausage. That was fantastic. I just prefer less of a hustled atmosphere. It felt like a nice diner more so than fine dining. There’s an identity crisis when you spend $ 100 for two but there are no table cloths or dining room. All were friendly and we will definitely go again!

Our waitresses is/was the only thing going for this dining hall– rotary club hangout. She informed me the lamb gyro was quite official. Meat sliced fresh from the roatissirre like contraption in the kitchen. Po thang. She doesn’t know any better so wont criticize her words. As soon as my food arrived I knew this was not lamb. #BS. Never one to complain, but original off the bone lamb the«meat» was NOT. My colleague ordered the appetizer platter. His face said it all. Oh well, such is life. I will say location location location is everything, so the fact they are the only restaurant in the biz park is a plus for them. For the gut filling greedies who simply dont care. They have a friend for life. My other co worker enjoyed his panini. But really? How difficult is it to make a sandwich. The prices are great, so dont feel to bad. But seriously Just stay away

One of the best Authentic Greek restaurants in Atlanta. I’m from Athens Greece. I never miss eating here when I’m in the area. As a full blood Greek, I know the best when I eat it… :-)

I want to preface this with an explanation. I generally don’t even believe in one-star ratings, because I feel like every place has some redeeming quality. I debated giving this place two stars because the service was very good, but the food was so inedible, I could not bring myself to do it. If you’re looking at reviews, I recommend you look at the trend. I don’t know what this place used to be like, but the food I ate was horrible. I live nearby and my wife, son, and I needed a late lunch after running some errands, so we decided to pop in on the way home. Our plan was to grab an appetizer, then peruse the menu for our entrees. We didn’t order any entrees. I am generally a forgiving person and usually believe you shouldn’t judge a place on one dish, but ours was so fantastically horrible, and it was a «sampler,» so I felt like we had given it the old college try. We got the Zorba Platter: Fried Calamari, Fried Eggplant, Fried Zucchini, Dolmades(grape leaves), Spanakopita, and Skordalia with a Side of Tzatziki. The grape leaves were by far the worst grape leaves I have ever eaten. I am a home chef, so I’m fairly familiar with figuring out how something went wrong, but I could not even fathom a guess. The filling was very much like dry-wall. Hard, mealy and flavorless. I don’t think one could get a worse grape leaf if you tried. The fried eggplant was flavorless. The zucchini was cold in the middle. The spanakopita was burnt. You know how spanikopita is supposed to be light colored, well, ours was brownish-black. At first, i didn’t even know what it was, it was so discolored. I’m not sure i could do worse unless I tried to intentionally burn it. And the tzatziki was full of stringy cucumbers and was separating. I hate to waste food, so I tried to eat most of it, but I could not. I could go on and on, but I won’t because I think you get my drift. The server was very attentive and was trying very hard and the manager popped right over with some crayons when my toddler started crying. Other than that, the experience was memorable only because it was so bad.

DISGUSTING! Worst gyro I’ve ever eaten. For this to be a «Greek» restaurant, the gyro was worse than one you could buy from Great Wraps. The spanikopita was bland, cheese-less, dry, and unappetizing. The only good thing about this place was that the waitress was really nice. Otherwise, horrible food experience.

I have to preface this review with the fact that I love Greek food, have been to Greece and worked at a Greek restaurant. This was not good Greek food. The dolmades were dry and the rice was crunchy and old tasting. The salad was bland, dressing was alright, but really thick. The fries where cold and covered in seasoning attempting at flavor. My brother got a chicken gyro, it was also super plain and bland. I think the pita was the only saving grace of the meal. This all would have been acceptable from a small place that you go to a 2am for a few bucks to fill your belly. But this is supposedly a nice sit-down restaurant, that is pretty darn expensive. Overall, disappointing.

Not good. My husband wanted to try this place based on a nice sample of gyros meat the manager gave him, but the rest of the meal was not good. The food was pretty bland, even the spaghetti we got for the kids. I don’t like saying things about others food that’s not nice, but I don’t think we’ll go back. Nothing too memorable except I wasn’t crazy about it.

We have been to Mykonos several times, each with varying success. We went yesterday(Sunday April 21) for a late lunch around 2:30. The service was lackluster — I get it, it was a slow Sunday afternoon, but still. A slow day is a day to be extra good to your guests, IMO. The food was pretty bad. The meatballs were dry and bland, perhaps from the day before. We had to ask for tsatziki to make them edible. The tsatziki was bland, too. The server didn’t pursue my complaint that the meatballs were«dry as a bone», she just brought out the sauce. We also had the grilled seafood mezze, which was cooked to death and the cold plate, which was fine — probably because no cooking was involved. I do have to wonder why there was cold mashed potatoes on it, tho? Odd. Overall, the food was not fresh and it was overcooked. The garnishes and salads looked like they were cut at least one or two days ago. The lemons were dry around the edges. Nothing was particularly appetizing. On previous visits the food has been fresher and prepared better, but the service is always a little off. The servers are not very attentive. The manager has been there each time and he’s not very attentive, either. The correct thing for the server to do when a customer says a dish is dry/bland is to let the manager know. This is not what happened. I was having a meeting, so I didn’t want to stop that in order to properly complain to the manager about the subpar food. Had I not been in a meeting, I’d have asked for him to come over. As it is, we spent $ 80 for dry bland food and an overall lackluster experience. We won’t be in a hurry to go back.

Each time I eat here, I feel like the quality has gone down since my last visit. I’ve been 3 – 4 times. I just get a feeling I should question the freshness and how much of it is actually made in house not coming from a jar. I like it, but I gotta be honest that im concerned this place might not last too much longer. Its never busy. Lets talk about the positives. The have my favorite beer ever… erdinger always on tap. The bread has to be fresh made and it is delicious. The salads are fresh and good, the salad dressing is unique and tasty. The entrees… hmm, I got chicken Florentine, I think it might have been a mix of fresh and frozen. Fresh chicken with frozen spinach… but the sauce, i think it might have been cheese wiz with a bunch of stuff added too it. The veggies that came with it really threw me off. They looked frozen, but they were crispy. So im not really sure… i didn’t eat them either way, they had zero flavor. The rice, again… felt like a mix of frozen and fresh… fresh rice with a can of veggies poured in it. Once before i got the mousaka and I loved it, so i will add that in here for a positive. I want to like this place. For the price, i’d expect all fresh without a question. Usually the service is good, but this time it was terrible. We waited forever to order, and then waited forever for salads and bread… had to ask several times for orange slices(for the beer). Then all the food came at once, bread, salad, and entrees. The only serious attention we got was right before the check came and we were heckled to buy dessert.

I have always wanted to try this place out only to find myself disappointed at the end of my meal. Hard to say to the least because I rarely give out 2 stars… Anyway to start off– when I first walked in no one greeted us until I waved a server down asking if they can seat my hungry friend and I. They had to grab someone else in order to take on the task of seating 2 people. The restaurant was not even busy. Food was VERYMEDIOCRE… The Greek salad didn’t seem too Greek to me. I also ordered the chicken kabobs– very dry and didn’t taste like anything. The veggies on the side tasted as if someone threw in frozen vegetable medley into Cambell’s tomato soup or something! Was not fond of my dish at all. My friend had the gyro which was just average to me. Service was hardly there. I felt like I had to wait around a lot for the server to even be in sight. For the price I thought I could get better food and service somewhere else. How was I suppose to eat my rice with the slimy tomato soup topped all over it?

Exactly one week after the aforementioned catastrophe, I came here with clean slate, and awesome(and unexpected!) company. My friends got here before I did, so when I got to the table, it was kind of funny seeing there was a 6 person table for 3. But hey– I am totally down– and it came it handy, later! I first of all, got to meet the owner. He was young, and very friendly. I hear he hails from NY(hell yea). That was cool. The next two things I found out– they serve PBR, and 100OZ beer towers. We found out they had PBR after we got the Bud Light. But that was fine by me. I decided to order the gyro wrap, with the Greek potatoes(skinless baked wedges in a lemon sauce). When that stuff came out, I was shocked at how MUCH meat and potatoes there were! The food was decent. I was impressed by the seasoning of the meat. The pita was yum as well. The sauce wasn’t overwhelming either– I liked it. Overall, it was a pretty damn filling dinner. As we are finishing up, 3 of my co-workers decided to pay an unexpected visit– so the fact we had a 6 seat table– actually worked out perfectly! How random! So they ordered gyros as well, and enjoyed them. As we were finishing, a huge dessert plate with 3 different items(think I took a photo) on it came to the table. Compliments of the owner. Well hell yea! That was really awesome, and nice of him! Overall, it was a complete 180 from the week before. It’s amazing what can happen! I thought it was really close to five stars, but you know I don’t round up! I will definitely have to come back here!

I just love these guys. We usually bring a large group from work for lunch and they waste no time in getting us set up at a long table with drinks a’flowin. The food is HUGE, just so you know, so don’t let your eyes get too big for your stomach. Service is attentive and friendly, they split checks with no complaints, and we are VERY loyal customers. I usually order chicken parmesean for lunch and take half home for dinner. My coworkers get gyros and I always have to steal some fries. They are amazing, seasoned, and come out piping hot.

I visited this establishment on a trip to Atlanta. Am I glad that I did. One of the best experiences I have ever had at a greek restaurant. I ordered something simple, the gyro with fries. Both were amazing. I eat gyro’s frequently so it is a big deal when I say it was the best I have ever had. The rest of the people in my party had kebobs, appetizers, drinks, etc. Not a single person complained and it was a large group. Service was excellent as well. Prompt, friendly, and the meal came out in a good time. Highly recommend.

Not a fan… The Mediterranean Grill a few miles away was a lot better and cheaper. It was empty on a Sunday night, aside from a birthday dinner and a few guys stopping in to watch the game with their gyros? I couldn’t like the Greek potatoes, there was something unsettling about them that I can’t pick out… didn’t taste like I had expected. The salad was good, but who can mess up a salad? My lamb souvlaki was alright. Not enough meat and too many veggies. What I essentially ended up with was a salad and pita bread. Prooooobably won’t be coming back. Maybe it was just me, but I just didn’t get it.

I like this place. My mom, daughter, and I came here for a Saturday lunch and didn’t leave disappointed or hungry. The food portions are HUGE. I hade the gyro and the lamb was amazing. I couldn’t even eat the darn thing because we ordered the Zorba Platter and got full off of that. The Zorba Platter comes with fried zucchini, fried calamari, fried eggplant, spanktopita, some stiff mashed potato stuff with a fancy name, along with some rice pilaf wrapped in grape leaves stuff with another fancy name. If you choose to go, be advised that they do not have a lunch menu(at least on Saturday… im not sure about other days). I had to ask for a child’s menu for my daughter because she didn’t seem interested in what was on the main menu. Most of the kids menu stuff was around $ 6.

Gentlemen(and women) prepare to eat! My goodness, I’ve never seen such portion sizes as what was served at Mykonos Tavern — not even at Maggiano’s. One order of just about anything could feed a small band of raiders with leftovers still. We came for lunch one day last week after indulging too much at all the 4th of July celebrations and looking for something lighter. This translated into sharing an order of the pikillia: 4 different spreads(hummus, tzatziki, skordali and tyrokafteri) with lots of fresh baked pita slices, a «medium» horatiki salad(it’s not on the menu but if you’re in the know and ask, the kitchen will accomodate) and an order of gyro meat. It doesn’t sound outrageous does it? No, not on paper. And at first, I thought we were fine too. The appetizer of pikillia came out and it was a decent size — yes, every dip looked like it had been scooped by an 8 oz ice cream scooper, but that’s ok, don’t have to worry about running out. Then the«medium» horatiki salad came out. I do believe there are whole villages in China that grow less veggies than were in this salad: I’ve never seen so much sliced cucumber, tomato, feta cheese, kalamata olives and onions piled into the largest bowl ever served straight to a table. And that was the medium size! God help the poor unsuspecting person who orders the large because they’re feeling«hungry.» And the side of gyro meat? It filled a small serving platter. Yes, this is definitely eating lighter all right. Everything was pretty tasty and we did a fair job together of finishing off most of the meal, but beware when you go, split, share or be prepared to doggy bag it home.

I’m always pleased with my visits to Mykonos! The staff is super friendly and attentive and there’s always a positive vibe when walking into this place. This past Sunday my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here. We generally do carryout but sometimes like to dine in. Our waiter Demetrius was awesome. The drink specials(Amaretto Sour & Long Island Peach tea) were spot on and delicious! Our overall experience was consistent & fun. Thank you Joey and Drew for making our visits to your restaurant GREAT as usual. This time around we enjoyed the«flaming cheese» aka saganaki and I ordered their grilled chicken salad. Their tzatsiki sauce is perfect and their gyros meat is always cooked to perfection. I appreciate their food, service and upbeat attitude shared amongst the staff and management!

Service was excellent! Been driving past this place for a while! I’ve been on a quest to find the best Gyro in Atlanta! So this was next on my list! We’ll the results are in while it is one of the largest Gyro’s I’ve ever had, plenty of meat, it was not the best in Atlanta. The Greek Potatoes were excellent. They also had some amazing looking desserts so we had a moment of weakness and tried the Baklava, it was huge with so many layers I couldn’t count.

The inside of this place was completely not what I expected. I thought I was going to a hole-in-the-wall. This place is a stand-alone building and spacious. It has a full size bar and a ton of TVs surrounding the bar area. I definitely didn’t feel like I was walking into a Greek restaurant. We orderd calamari to share, which didn’t have much taste to it. I also ordered the gyro wrap, which tasted like a normal gyro wrap. There was nothing really outstanding about anything we ordered, but I should have ordered something a little more unique. The server recommended the chicken kebobs, which I would go back and try and perhaps listen to her suggestion this time. Or, if you go, you can order the chicken kebobs and let me know how it is. I like to think that this place has potential and I would try it again and order something more unique. I will update this review if I ever make it back there… but for now, it gets 2 stars.
