I really liked this space, it was more spacious than some of the other bars in edgewood but my experience was completely ruined by the bartenders. Easily the worst drinks I’ve had in all of Atlanta. You know how some places, you get a water downed drink, but its whatever, it kinda sucks but you just drink it? Well this place brings shitty drinks to a whole new level that I never knew was possible. I think these bartenders were trained(lol who am I kidding, they weren’t trained) by drunk monkeys.

This place gets my official vote for… best afternoon chill bar award in Atlanta. Great inexpensive drinks, great food and the atmosphere was really great. It’s near the MARTA stop, so you can stop in for a quick bite and continue on your journey. As always… Your Welcome!

I love Noni’s! In the years I’ve been frequenting this place, I’ve had most of the sandwiches, many of the pastas — but my all time favorite is Kate’s Big Salad! Hearty size salad, with mixed greens, orzo pasta, olives, tomatoes and sliced deli meat with the best creamy balsamic dressing you’ll ever taste! My favorite sandwiches are the chicken salad and club. But they aren’t your typical sandwiches ATALL! The garlic fries are amazing and the home made pasta is pretty special. The vibe in this place is great, service is spot on and it’s best to go with friends so you can sample and swap delicious bites. Parking is free just around the corner — CHECKITOUT! Promise, you won’t be sorry.

Inexpensive, good vibes and young crowd. Front lobby had board games so we grabbed Sorry! and took it to our table for four. Ordered Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan, Seafood Scampi, Chicken Parmesan Sandwich(with a MOUNTAIN of Parmesan fries) Pasta Bolognese, and a bottle of wine(only $ 28). Portions of food were very generous and for the vibe and the quality of the food, I’m surprised they weren’t more expensive. Great service!

I’ve been to Noni’s a few times at night but just recently tried it for food as well. In regards to the night scene, it gets pretty crowded here around 11 or so on the weekends. The entire front area turns into a dance floor and it gets backed. I’ve always had fun but it is a little grungy. Drinks are same old same old. I placed a to go order on a Friday around 1 and it wasn’t very crowded in the restaurant. I waited at the bar for about ten minutes for the order. My friend and I both got the Patricia, which was delicious. I got the half and half with a Caesar salad and she got the full sandwich with a side of pasta salad. I think getting the full sandwich was a better deal because it’s only $ 1 more. I would definitely go back for lunch. If you dine in, make sure to use the Scoutmob for a discount!

This place is awesome! After a long day of biking on the Bicycle Tours of Atlanta w/Robyn she suggested grabbing a bite to eat from Noni’s. We split the Kate’s Big Salad(soooo good), the Veggie Muff Sandwich and garlic fries. Everything was super delicious and really hit the spot. The service was also nice and the staff super friendly. The place has a really cool vibe too. I would totally go back again next time I’m in Atlanta.

I took the Streetcar from Centennial Olympic Park to Edgewood, and the station’s right next to the restaurant. I got there mid-evening, so it’s twilight and the four massive parties I walked into were picking up steam. The music got louder, conversations ticked upwards just as well. A big party on the patio, two in the back, and one in front of the bar all surrounded me sitting at the bar. The bartender was super attentive, despite the craziness around me. I had my travel pack with me, and I was wearing shorts and a polo, so I felt a bit out of place with all the yuppie coats, ties and dresses all around. Crowd was pretty diverse, too but the food was why I was there. My goal was to get to Sweet Auburn Curb Market, but that didn’t happen so Noni’s was my next choice. A quick Unilocal search led me to Noni’s and I’m glad it did. Named Noni’s Deli, I took her heed and chose two items with her name: Noni’s Fries and Noni’s Club. The club was stacked HIGH with turkey cuts, provolione cheese, generous bacon cuts, and much more on a well-toasted brioche. The fries were great as well, garlicky cheese potato cuts. Thin cuts too, so great texture. I knew I’d get garlic breath, ending my chances for romance that night, but I’d trade those fries for a date night again… Maybe. ;) Huge portions, easily shareable between two. I was flying solo, so I took a half of it with me(+1 for using recyclable cardboard boxes!) back onto the train. Prices weren’t too steep, similar to what I’d find in restaurants in Houston. I wanted to talk to the bartender about the place and the area, including Atlanta itself, but it was so loud that conversation was pretty much hopeless. And keeping up with the parties’ drink orders had him pretty busy. At night, the area took a turn for the seedier; a bouncer appeared that wasn’t there earlier when I walked into the deli. I didn’t really want to wait for the streetcar at the station, several drunk and almost hostile guys were walking around the stop, barely standing up. Really not wanting to deal with that, I asked the bouncer if I could hang around inside Noni’s for a bit until the train came through again, and after he glanced at the company around the stop, he let me in again. I paid for my meals though, so I’d hope he would have let me in anyway. Ten minutes later, he signaled the train was coming, and I left the restaurant. I hope Noni is proud of this place, they treated this Houston boy kindly, and I’d be quick to come back if I was in this cool city of Atlanta again. tldr, solid food, great prices, seemingly good for parties, but loud, kinda-seedy area so come with friends.

Big, big fan of Noni’s. I have yet to have a bad meal here, in fact, I have only had really good meals here. I bought a Scoutmob deal for Noni’s back in June and we finally got around to using it. It’s a hell of a deal: 35 $ for two cocktails, one app, one salad and two entrees of your choice. We both got a glass of the Sangiovese which was nice and started with meat and cheese plate and the arugula salad. The meat and cheese plate was a fantastic spread that would be enough for 4 people. The salad was a litle salty, but it was still good. I had the meatball sandwich(Meatball Sub noni’s meatballs in bolognese with melted provolone on toasted ciabatta) and Noni’s fries and Kelly got the Stella(Stella homemade mozzarella, tomato, basil, balsamic reduc– tion on pressed ciabatta) with Noni’s fries. The meatballs were soft and tender and the bread was delicious. I highly recommend it. The Noni’s fries are like crack and they give you a ton of them. I also ordered a dish to go to have for lunch today and I am happy that I did. Kelly and I couldnt resist trying it out when we got home and were floored by it. I got the homemade tagliatelle with bolognese. This pasta dish is heaven, it is what an italian dinner is supposed to taste like. And, I cant wait to eat it for lunch today. Either way, we like this funky joint on Edgewood and will continue to go back. That’s my word and I’m sticking to it.

This review is solely for 70s night on Saturday. The entrance is around the right. I showed up around 11:30PM and got let in right away. They have a patio and a bunch of tables and booths/couches on the side to hang out and chill. Their dance floor is preeeetttttty tiny. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn’t too impressed, mainly with the music. There’s so much you can do with 70s music, but the playlist was all over the place. Most of the songs they played sounded exactly the same, then they would throw in a top 40 edm song for 20 – 30 seconds then switch back to 70s music. I was super confused. By 12:30AM, the place was starting to clear out inside, but the line to get in was long. Maybe it’s too keep the place from getting too packed. That was weird too. The nice thing is that people there are super cool and laid back. Everyone is there just to hang out, chill and have a good time. I’d like to check out the food since that’s what a lot of people are raving about. I’d also like to check out a non-themed night. or maybe 90s night if they have it!

My third visit to Noni’s was the first time I ordered something other than alcohol at Noni’s. Something substantial, delicious and affordable. Parking is available in the back, but I was so used to free street parking littered throughout the East Atlanta Village that we just found a random spot off a parallel road. It was Father’s Day, and Noni’s was one of the only places we called that we didn’t need to call ahead for, because it was LITERALLY empty. There were several more tables outside on the patio that patrons were chilling at, though, which seemed crazy, given the hot, humid and sunny 90 degree weather outside. The server was super attentive and helped us out two tables together for our group of 10, then brought us glass carafes of water to pour ourselves. My friend ordered a appetizer of calamari, which had some amazing flavors but seemed lacking in the cooked area, slightly over cooked and rubbery, and some super thick breading. Definitely not the best calamari I’ve had. I ordered the Muffuletta with an upgraded side of $ 2 Noni’s Fries. And I was very happy with my order. The muffuletta was substantial and meaty. I loved the slightly buttery focaccia, although the taste of the olives was pretty overwhelming for my palate. And the FRIES. I’m all about fries, and Noni’s fries really did it for me. Yes, yes YES upgrade your side for some fries. Overall my friends all enjoyed the meal. Definitely a great sandwich spot for a solid lunch!

I rate Noni’s with 4-stars ONLY because the food was out of this world. It’s a beautiful restaurant, and it definitely has that gastropub feel. It’s also fairly large if I may add – 2-seater wooden booths, a large wooden table that probably seats ~8, and a large bar area in the front; then you have a slightly less casual setting in the back with cushioned-back seating and larger booths; finally, you have an outdoor patio. Yeah, and who would have thought a place like this existed in such a sketchy area? I ordered the Risotto of the day, which happened to be Spring Peas, Parmesan, and White Truffle Oil. I can’t even describe to you how amazing the flavors were in this dish; it was that good. The portion was so large, I had more than enough to bring home for another meal. To finish off my dinner, I ordered their homemade gelato: Snickers. Delicious, but way overpriced for the amount that I received… Service was neutral. Our waitress acted like she was a little too cool for school, and my friend and I were a couple of giggling girls who were overly enthusiastic about the menu. She came by to check on us periodically, but I think she felt more comfortable at the bar where most of the excitement was. Don’t get me wrong; she was nice, but it adds to the overall experience when your waitress is enthusiastic about the food they serve instead of being emotionless. Regardless, I will be back for the food, because their sandwiches and pastas sound utterly amazing. Also note that the Risotto is now $ 11 and the Meat & Cheese Tasting is now $ 14(some of the menu items’ prices were different than that of the online menu by a dollar).

Parking lot is across the street and not easy to find. I happened to come across it because I got lost. Get to it via the one way(Hillard?) street. There are obvious signs once you find the gravel lot. I love the atmosphere because it has old school furniture with old couches and even a working box TV! I sat inside and took advantage of the outlets to charge my electronics. It is a laid back atmosphere where other people were on their computers as well. People were going in and out of the patio but I preferred the a/c on this afternoon. Noni genoa salami, sop– pressata, mortadella, provolone, tomato, roasted red pepper, pepper-oncini, shredded romaine, house aioli, house vinaigrette on ciabatta. This is so picture perfect. I love that it is thick with meat, other ingredients, and especially the creamy aioli sauce. I was concerned that the bread might be hard and chafe the roof of my mouth. The soft bread didn’t injure me at all! For my side, I am glad I chose the chips. I enjoyed the BBQ kettle chips and would order more next time.

«Eat this meatball sub.» — How I Met Your Mother: Season 6, Episode 20 I’ve now been to Noni’s a couple of times, both for lunch and for dinner. I’ll address dinner first, we came on St. Paddy’s day, which was not the smartest thing we could do. We grabbed a table in the back, away from the revelers. It was loud, and crazy and we got as far from the noise as possible. I ordered a cider — I couldn’t tell you the name since it was loud, but it was terrible. It had a terrible after taste that was a combination of floral and almost avocado like. So I maybe drank half of it. And I love cider. As for food, I ordered the Chicken and Eggplant Parmesan. The chicken was crazy over cooked — so crispy on the outside, and somewhat dry on the inside. Plus, the ratio of pasta to protein. The sauce was really good, even though a bit on the sweeter side. There was no way I could have finished all that pasta, although I felt the need to try. So overall, this experience was 2.5 stars — luckily, I had an excellent experience previously so I knew this was atypical. So let’s talk lunch… and ALL the sammies! If you have read any of my reviews, or attended any of my UYEs, you will know I am a connoisseur of the sandwich. I grew up with a grandfather and father who put anything possible into a sandwich. Well, Noni’s knows what they are doing in the sandwich department! Personally, the meatball sub was perfection. The bread was crusty on the outside, but chewy on the inside. It had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce and the meatballs were tender and delicious. Now on the side, the perfect parmesan fries — and a mountain of them. I’m not sure how ANYONE eats them all — it was an entry itself. Our server for our lunch was blows and stretches beyond our dinner service — and there were 14 of us. What does that tell you? I’m telling you — this is the place in Edgewood(or anywhere in town) for sandwiches if you want a killer and filling option — they know what they are doing here. Dinner, however, not so sure. I’ll try again when it isn’t a drinking holiday, but I’m not hoping out hope.

My experience might have been marred by Saint Patrick’s Day revelers, but I’m not sure. Located on Edgewood by some of the more interesting bars, noni’s is an Italian restaurant serving up pasta and sandwiches. Being next to other bars the area is great for pub crawls. With that being said, I probably should have stayed away on St. Patrick’s Day. Since it’s atypical to have so many«Irish» at the bar, to be fair I’ll focus just on my food and drinks and leave out any comments on service. My food was great! I ordered the chicken parmesan sub with a side of the noni’s fries. The sandwich was good. The only problem was the bread had sat in some of the marinara sauce and the bottom got a bit soggy. The chicken was juicy and its breading had a crunch to it. The chicken could have used a bit more seasoning. The fries were spectacular! Totally worth the $ 2 up charge! The fries were garlic parmesan fries. They were also cooked the way I like my fries cooked! I had ordered aviation with dinner which was great! I was surprised that the drink was that good considering how crowded the bar was. Overall a solid 4 star restaurant. I will need to give it another shot without the revelers.

Loved Noni’s. Very good vibes, we sat on the patio and shared a bottle of Rosé while browsing the menu. I loved the story about The Noni and her love of food. We had fries which were killer, as well as a charcuterie plate with meat cheese nuts and preserves(ace!) but also caprese salad and a delicious sandwich I don’t recall the name of. It’s right off the metro train thing that goes 2mph. Nice little spot in Edgewood! Definitely will be back! I hear they do industry night on Sunday so that’ll be where I’m at the rest of the summer! Check this spot out and you won’t be disappointed!

You know… I’ve been in Midtown the past year and I am just now discovering new places! Came to Noni’s for an UYE with like… 8 other Unilocalers. Parking — I’m actually glad Noni’s has a small sign to show where to park. The lot isn’t glorious or anything, but it’ll do! The lot seemed pretty big & could fit several cars. I did hear there was parking in the back, but something was blocking the entrance way. Space — I really thought it was tiny on the outside, but I was wrong. There are several 2 man booths, tables, and even a bar! I was also told that Noni’s turns into a dance shop at night. Which… makes sense. When I sat down at our table, I smelled bleach. Hardcore. Food — I had the Meatball sandwich. I would highly recommend this if you’re a meatball lover. The bread that’s made with this is so good. Not soggy at all. The meatballs are pretty tasty. Each sandwich had several parts of a meatball. I think the only thing I didn’t like about it was the cheese. But that’s just me. I hate cheese. Noni Fries as a side— Generous portions. Whoa. I BARELY made a dent. Other Unilocalers helped me finish this. I was so shocked at how much was given as a side! I think it cost like 2 bucks. The fries themselves compliment the sandwiches very well. YUM. Definitely be back!

We had lunch here prior to the Streetcar pub crawl. How have we not eaten here before? Six excellent sandwiches, two cups of wedding soup and beverages. All the sandwiches were really good and more food than one person can eat. We will be returning to Noni’s again.
