P & D Tire & Auto

I called on as Tuesday at 2pm and a guy answered. I asked him if I could bring my car in today for a diagnosis and he said not today or tomorrow but «maybe» Friday and to call back later. I thought this was rude because he didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. I can’t say not to go here but they were definitely unprofessional over the phone.

This is my first time writing a Unilocal review and it’s only because of how much I appreciate Paul and Diane. I am NOT good with cars and so many mechanics have tried upcharging me. I am so lucky to have found P&D because the honestly and reliability is wonderful. They are so helpful and welcoming and I will seriously not take my car anywhere else.

Ever since I moved to Atlanta, I’ve been looking for my «go-​to» auto spot. This one is the ticket — it feels just like home! Paul and Diane are wonderful and run a great family business with wonderful service and helpful staff. I just had my tires replaced and oil changed — very fair prices and quick, quality service. I wanted a special-​order tire set and was able to purchase and ship directly to the shop, saving both of us money. The mechanic even spotted an unrelated faulty cap while changing my oil and patched it free of charge before I arrived to pick up my car… then checked in later to make sure it was still okay! So happy to have found this West Midtown secret and highly recommend them.

This is where my husband and I take our cars. We get the most honest service and can really trust them!

Been going here for years. Paul and Diane run a great shop, the mechanics are super honest about what your real problems are and what can be put off for a while. Also unlike bigger shops, these guys never charge for diagnosing problems, and they are cool with installing used and online purchased parts.

We moved to the westside and proximity, and luck brought us to P&D. In the 3 years I’ve been going to them, they have been reliable, knowledgable, and capable. I needed body work and they found reduced cost, aftermarket stuff. They did my tires. They’ve helped friends with engine trouble, they’ve even patched my scooter’s tire. They’re very real, honest mechanics and I’d recommend them to anyone.

If I could give 6 stars I would. These people are fantastic! They really helped me out when Caroline’s screwed me over! They went above & beyond for me & I will NEVER go anywhere else!

I was referred here by a friend and coworker of mine. She says that she met these folks by way of South City Kitchen as she has waited on them several times. After my car broke down i had Atow (see review for Atow) haul my baby, «Civie», to P&D. They were very gracious to receive my business and promised me that they were a little busy but they’d get to my car right away. I graciously told them to fix anything they see is wrong :-!
Assuming that I’d have a whole list of problems with my baby, It was as simple as a blown fuse. But they went ahead and gave me an oil change changed the oil filter, resurfaced my roders, gave me new brakes, and filled the slow leak i had in my tire all for $ 200 Bucks.
I was so relieved! It’s hard for the single gal to find an honest mechanic.
My only complaint: These folks don’t work on weekends (well deserved), so you may want to conveniently break down at the beginning of the week. :)
