Parklane Elementary

I did some volunteer work here a couple of weeks ago. In all honesty, I was a bit concerned that there was an eastpoint police officer there when I pulled up. Im assuming, he was there to keep traffic moving or making sure the kiddies got across the street because he was not there when I was leaving. I was pleased that we were greeted by admin staff especially the principle. He did mention that his kids were huggers and that the school was happy to have us. It was really cute how they had student ambassodors to direct us to our classroom location. The school was clean and I think they were doing some renovations. Thank goodness for Ms. Johnson… who knew kindergarden kids could wear you out so… the hugs, thank you cards and a certificate was given when I left. In one day… I felt like family… that happens when they feed you too. lol
