Dr. Macik is an excellent surgeon, a consummate professional and an admirable physician. I am almost two years out from my gastric sleeve surgery. I have no complications. I had almost no pain post-​op and have the tiniest scars that I love to show people! Bariatric surgery saved my life. Do you have to diet after surgery? Absolutely. But it is so much easier. Thank you, Dr. Macik!!!

While in the hospital to remove severe endometriosis, Dr Macik was called in to perform a bowel section on parts of my colon that had been attacked by the endo. During my hospital stay he came to check on me everyday and was receptive to our questions and concerns. Now, 7 weeks out, I feel so much better than I did before. The pain that I had just come to live with before the surgery is now gone! I am so thankful that Dr Macik was so skilled and performed a perfect resection.
