Extremely nice and helpful staff! Feels like a small business run the right way. They don’t try to sell you more than you want or need and will direct you to the best quality bargain, as opposed to overpriced supplements that do the exact same thing. He even gave me a handful of free samples of different things to try out before committing. I’m definitely not renewing my GNC gold membership this year

Extremely well-informed staff. I come a few times a year and I always want to try something new. Great recommendations. They even ask how the product worked when I come back! I will miss this place when I move abroad.

Great selection, well informed and extremely helpful staff, and fair pricing. I found they have a better variety and prices compared to Whole Foods a block away — that is when Whole Foods isn’t having a sale, but that’s rare. They offer supplements, vitamins, shakes, all types of water — alkaline, etc., and hard to find food items. Once you walk in they ask if they can help, you tell them what you are looking for, they offer suggestions and you’re out. Quick and easy. You might also learn something new.

So last week, I got a black eye. No, it wasn’t the boy’s fault. Big used to need doggie stairs to get on the bed(his little 6lb self couldn’t make the jump) and I thought Luke would too so I’d kept them. Unfortunately, Lucas being a more physical doggie than Big, he had a habit of knocking the stairs away from the spot I normally put them — namely, into a place I could trip over them should I get up in the middle of the night for some reason. Which I did last Wed, to get some water about 3am, and proceeded to trip over the stairs and go flying smack into the windowsill. Let’s just say that interviewing with my eye and now cheek, as the bruising has spread in a lovely fashion, is great fun. Both a makeup artist friend and an eye doctor I happened to meet at my hairdresser’s yesterday recommended Arnica. My makeup artist friend suggested the cream version, applied 3x a day, and I went to Willner to see if they had it. Turns out, they do(and only $ 7) and they also have a dissolving tablet version(very tiny, you take 5 at a time 3x a day, $ 11). I just got the potions today and hopefully they will speed up the recovery and I won’t have a black and blue under-eye and a greenish and swollen lower cheek for much longer. Willner to the rescue, again!

I love coming here. I don’t always feel like I’m bothering people, but when I’m here I feel like I’m bothering the staff too much. I think I might have asked too many questions or have too many symptoms, but she doesn’t seem too bothered. She’s always happy to answer your questions, very knowledgeable and very happy to help. I’d go there so much but I’m only holding myself back because I might embarrass myself too much since she recognized me from the first day I walked in! But I’m just very much into nutrition and I do a lot of research online so coming to this store and being able to speak with a real person is very nice. The last visit I did not get the discounts as advertised, but I’d give that away for the great service!

Willner Chemist is everything it should be. I adore the staff. They are super knowledgeable on everything healthy and they really know what to use naturally for almost anything. Earlier this year I had the worse case of indigestion. I could barely eat for a week. I spent 20 bucks on stuff the pharmacist recommended. Nothing worked. I decided to try another alternative. I stopped in and purchased fennel tea and some ginger capsules based upon the sales persons recommendation. A couple of days later I was back to eating piggishly as usual without any discomfort. Also, the tea, vitamins, and everything else are well priced. Actually, the teas are cheaper so I get them from here rather than Publix.

We all want to be well-informed when it comes to our food and health, but with so much information out there, it’s hard to know what to believe and where to start once you hit the grocery store. Well, if you are reading this review, then you’ve found a good place to start, and I believe it’s Willner Chemists. It’s a great natural health food spot on Peachtree Road in the shopping plaza of Buckhead. A friend of mine had introduce me to this health food store and I am glad to say that I so approve. I now have a place that allows me to pick up things that truly caters to my health needs. I am also pleased to say that some of their items are much cheaper then other markets as well. So far my favorites are their gluten-free tortillas, pizza, rice chips and animal cookies. I look forward to trying out everything in the store. Thanks again Katy!:)
