Nothing like a tire blow out completely derailing your Saturday! I found these guys on Unilocal,called for a time frame to get my tire replaced and they quoted me one hour (which was just the right amount of time to head to the diner across the street for some grub!). Turns out, they were true to their word on the time, which is a big customer service pet peeve of mine. They gave me a reasonable price and the staff were super friendly! I highly recommend for regular auto care as well as for those pesky tire emergencies!

After coming here, I can’t believe anyone would give this place less than 5 stars. The shop is run to help people first, money comes second. Guy who came in after me got his oil changed in literally 8 minutes and said it was the fastest oil change he’s ever gotten. ⁵⁄₅ will continue to come here for car problems.

Any negative reviews are from a previous owner. Steve purchased this business in July of 2015, and he has completely turned it around! The customer service is fantastic and the prices are more than reasonable. The amenities allow ultimate comfort while waiting for your vehicle (which doesn’t take long because the staff is so efficient). There is complimentary bottled water and k-​cups for coffee and tea. There is a beautiful flat screen TV as well. The bathroom is GORGEOUS and so much nicer than any public bathroom I’ve been to at an auto shop! I went in expecting to pay an outrageous amount (as quoted by a different car repair shop). Instead, I walked out knowing that the other place had lied to me about service that «needed» to be performed. Steve and his team are personable, efficient, kind, honest, and reliable. I have found my new auto shop in Buckhead/​Atlanta!

Since the new ownership it has actually become a pleasure to bring my car in for service.
I travel frequently for my job and am getting my oil changed and doing regular maintenance at about the 3 week mark.
These guys are always super welcoming and service oriented, they always remember who I am and what we talked about on my previous visits. The new owner has redone the entire inside waiting area– including an awesome bathroom renovation, coffee/​beverage bar and new flooring! What a breath of fresh air compared to the prior management/​owners.
Super honest and trustworthy service– which for a girl, can be difficult to find.
If you’ve had a bad experience here in the past you should 100% give it a second chance!

What a pleasant Surprise, my check engine light and other lights came on for my 2004 Toyota 4 runner which also has 205,000 miles. At first I took my car to a nearby shop that specializes in Toyota’s even had part of TOYOta in its name. Received a call that they would have to replace a catalytic converter at the tune of $ 800, a gas cap $ 35 and strongly suggested a full flush of all of my fluid for another cool $ 1000. Needless to say I went nearby for another opinion.
I drove the car down a few miles to precision Tune only to find an old mechanic who used to work on my cars at the dealership in Sandy Springs. Steve Deegan looked at the car called me back later in the day saying I needed a Gas Cap. Going from being told I need close to $ 2000 to a new gas cap I was floored. I had mentioned the fluids and tune up which he agreed and asked if he saw anything else. We came to an agreement to tune up and flush all fluids along with replacing gas cap for under $ 600. Car drives great not that it didn’t before.
Strongly recommend taking the drive down precision tune for any mechanic needs you may have. So happy I went for a second opinion.

I have been coming here for a few years now. Everyone has been very helpful. This last visit my wife brought my Tahoe to get the rear brake pads and rotors replaced. I had a set of caliper covers sitting in the back seat which I had forgotten. One of the guys asked my wife if she wanted them installed. She called me and they offered to put them on at no cost. It’s little details like this that keep me coming back.

I went in this week to have my brake pads replaced. Usually I only get oil changes here (and only with a coupon) because I didn’t trust the owner/​mechanic at all to do anything else. I called up to get a price quote first, and the quote seemed reasonable. I showed up to have my brake pads replaced, and found out that the shop was under new ownership, nice guys named Steve and Kim. They were very thorough, took time to answer my questions, and when I asked them about what I thought was a questionable recommendation from a different shop around town, they took a look and my car and told me it wasn’t a problem. I went in on my lunch break and told them I could only have the service done if it took less than an hour and a half, and since they thought it would take longer, they offered to (and did) drop me off at my office 5 miles away, and then came back to pick me up and take me back when my service was done. To top it off, they called me to check in the next day to make sure everything was going OK. A++ customer service.

I am a girl but I am a smart girl and I know when I’m being swindled.
I was in need of a brake fluid flush in my Nissan Altima. I called in to Precision Care and the owner of the franchise told me the cost was going to be $ 45. The next day (June 2) I went to the business and talked to the owner/​mechanic who told me that he would flush my car’s brake fluid. He took my car into the garage, and proceeded to take out the old fluid and I saw him replace it with new fluid. He did nothing else. He then came out of the garage and said he was done. The service itself was so quick (around 5 minutes). He then said that it was $ 45 and when I handed him a credit card, he said he wanted cash. I gave him $ 51 (including tax) and got an invoice. I was still apprehensive because I thought a brake flush entailed more than just replacement of fluid. On the way home, I examined the invoice closer and noticed that under «services performed» it listed:
Brake fluid flush
1) evaculate & refill brake fluid from master cylinder (which he did)
2) Bleed braking system (which he did NOT do)
3) Refill master cylinder to recorded level (this is to be done after bleeding but he didn’t bleed the system)
4) test drive (he drove it out of the garage and parked it outside)
As soon as I read this, I saw a video on youtube when I got home and realized that he DEFINITELY DID NOT bleed the system. I drove back to the location and asked him for my money back. He did not perform the steps thoroughly and I told him I no longer trusted him. Furthermore, I no longer wanted any more services done by him because I did NOT TRUST him. I told him he was morally wrong and not being honest with me. He refused to give me my money back. We got into a very heated argument with his employee watching.

Did an amazing job with my car. I dont know that much about cars, but they really took their time out to explain everything to me and make sure I received the best deal. Their service is quick and wonderful! I would highly recommend them.

Went in for an oil change.

I’ve been here several times over the last 2 years. Sadly, several times. My previous car I did a lot of basic repair on myself — whereas my current vehicle requires someone with a skill set I don’t quite have yet. That said, when I look under the hood of a car, or when a problem comes up I generally am capable of how to diagnose it and what sort of repair it entails prior to taking it to ANY mechanic… this is my own form of insurance against all those pesky upsells and add ons some places try to go for. Lesson here, is know before you go (as much as you can — the internet is a great place to start). Of the probably almost dozen times I’ve taken my 2 cars in, I’ve not once experienced anything other than the best work, communication, integrity and pricing. The thing that really made me a fan was when I needed to have a previously purchased new alternator installed. Every place I called with the exception of Precision Tune stated that they explicitly did not install parts brought in from outside, and that I’d have to purchase the alternator from them (and after pricing all of this out — for what ended up being a HUGE mark up). That one trip alone saved me a couple hundred dollars. My most recent experience included a discounted labor rate (thanks to a misquote on their part prior to beginning the work/​price I agreed to for reasons I was already aware might be an issue) and a few minor adjustments to things that were caught by Naim (that I was also already aware of but not too concerned with) at no additional charge. Naim always has you look at what the issues stem from. For someone like me who dabbles as a novice mechanic, he is always happy to answer any questions or offer any advise he has on whatever I’ve asked about. Having worked in restaurants for a long time, I’m well versed in the art of taking negative reviews on Unilocal with a giant grain of salt… I can only speak from my personal (repeated) experiences with PTAC. Thanks for being great!

For a quick oil change this place is good. The staff are pleasant and quick. I took off two stars because the technician said I «needed the power steering fluid flushed and replaced.» This is a classic sales pitch from automotive service places. Unless a car manual specifically states this is a mandatory maintenance item, this service actually does more harm than good. I recommend Precision for an oil service and nothing more.

I have been going to the Precision Tune at this location for many years, and they never disappoint. The service is fast, dependable, and above all, Naim is incredibly honest and trustworthy, which is often very hard to find when it comes to car repair. I know without a doubt that Naim will do whatever he can to fix any issues with my car in the most cost-​effective and efficient way possible. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about cars and excellent customer service is clearly a priority, and I appreciate that he will do what he can to help as opposed to pushing me towards the most expensive solution.
Example: The car radio in my Acura MDX has been broken for 9 months. I’ve been lazy about getting it fixed but recently started to look into it. The dealer told me I needed to just replace it because it was shot which was going to be a very expensive fix (it’s a 6 cd changer, DVD, navigation, etc.) Other options I looked into were also very pricey. Today, I took it to Naim to have him check it out. Due to his extensive knowledge of cars, he decided to test out a few ideas. Within 20 minutes, he had disconnected my battery, let it rest, restarted my car and had my radio working! He literally saved me thousands of dollars today, and I could tell that he was genuinely happy that he was able to help me!
The entire staff, and Naim in particular, are honest, caring, and fantastic at what they do. I would recommend this location to anyone time and time again!

Went here for an oil change on my 1996 Mercedes C280, the guy behind the counter was great and the service was fast but the mechanic left grease all over my steering wheel, shifter, and keys, and on my way home my check engine light came on throwing 3 errors, all of which were a result of the mechanic bumping in to or disconnecting a sensor that is near the oil filter either on purpose or on accident, either way its unacceptable!

Was told you HAVE TO PRINT out coupon or they charge $ 2 more.
You have to pay cash under $ 25. They told me on phone and before I came, so AOK.
That’s all fine, as was everything else. They got my car done in 30 min.
WITHOUT any upsell ! have you ever had that happen?
They told me that other places might have wifi that worked there and there were some unlocked, but I did not try

I have been to this auto shop a few times just for oil changes and I never had a bad experience, they changed my oil and I didn’t see them again until next time I had to get my oil changed.
I went for an oil change this time, no big deal and the mechanic/​owner told me that my oil was really bad, it could damage my engine (I had gone 3500 miles since the last oil change on a SYNTHETIC blend mind you– I’m sure I had more miles left until any damage would be done) and showed me the old/​dirty oil on his hands. He then told me that I needed an engine flush which would cost me $ 59 additional on top of the oil change. I called my brother who also works on cars and explained what just happened and he warned me to leave the shop and just go buy a $ 5 flush and manually flush it right before getting my oil changed at a different place and he also said since my car is a 2011 with 34,000 miles there is no need for an engine flush. I took my car to a Napa Center in Tucker and told the guy what just happened to me so he took a look at my oil/​engine and said there was absolutely no build up of dirty oil, just used oil (which is expected when you get an oil change) and the Precision guy was ridiculous for trying to get over on me. I will continue to go to Napa where I went today and received great customer and honest service, and I will not be going back to Precision Tune.

I’m not a complete car flake, but I’m also just unaware enough to where I’m nervous every time I enter a mechanic shop by myself. I’m very thankful I had this shop and more specifically, Naim (whose name I’m probably spelling wrong), recommended to me by a friend. I first brought the car in a few months ago knowing I needed a huge fix… new transmission for my 00 Accord :-(Super sad face. I was honest with him upfront that it needed to be something used/​cheap but that also wanted to keep the car going for a long time. I called before bringing the car and he took the time to really explain the process of getting a new transmission. And he didn’t just tell me he was putting in a new transmission, he showed me (in my car) what he was doing and explained things. This is above and beyond for me. Most car shops just tell you they did it and send you on your way.
My check engine light came on recently and the car was very shaky. I immediately thought to bring it back to Naim. This time without an appointment and waiting at the front door when he opened with another sad face. He remembered me and took my car back immediately to diagnose it. It was tragic news again, but its not their fault my car sucks. I was pretty upset and just couldn’t afford option A. I waited while he really looked at my car and researched what was up. He saved me.
They are very thorough and very honest. I feel very comfortable coming here. Naim is honest guy and will do the work right. If you care about your car bring it here.

Great service, friendly, fast. They found a leak in my power steering reservoir, but rather than trying to talk me into unnecessary services, they showed me how to monitor it and maintain until I can get it replaced. Highly recommend!
