We had pressed for time last weekend and not only did they run out of food(leaving me to choose out of 2 options instead of 5), the guy working on the truck was a complete jerk. He even yelled at me when I was waiting in line. He did not make the experience enjoyable! If you are running out of food, your attitude should make up for it!

Pay $ 10.25 for a small, average tasting sandwich? No Thank You. I bought a Chicken Panini from Pressed for Time at the Smyrna Food Truck event and was very disappointed. The taste was okay but the store bought bread, minimal amount of ingredients and ridiculous price means I will not go back.

For a $ 10 sandwich I expected it to be loaded with veggies rather than 3 mushrooms on the entire sandwich. SAVEYOURMONEY

Not a fan. Ordered the Bulgogi beef sandwich and the flank steak was very very fatty/chewy. That combined with the $ 10.25 price tag for the sandwich and chips…

If you see this truck run and eat the nearest piece of road kill because that’s what the sandwiches are comparable to. $ 9.75 for store brand bread with some dry pork and last weeks Mac and cheese. Oh and to make it better the prices aren’t listed on their menu with 3 sandwich options. Guess there’s not enough room to list it.

«All right, I’m gonna take this panini for the road.» — I Love You, Man(2009) Another food truck outing for me and you know I had to hit multiple vendors — this time we were at Dunwoody Food Truck Thursdays and we had 7 or 8 trucks to choose from. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a Sammie girl(aka Sandwiches) and so, of course, I had to hit up the Panini truck. I didn’t realize at the time, but this is the 2nd truck from The Food Movement folks(I realized when my receipt came in my email from their Square App). They also have the Hail Caesar FT. Ordering was a little odd as the woman was sitting down, so you could only see the top of her head and since her mouth was under the window — you couldn’t hear anything she said at all.(rude) Plus, the«order here» was written in pale colored ink on the glass. So I stood there in the group of people waiting for food before I realized where to go.(awkward) I decided to go for the yummiest looking item on the menu — the Blackened Chicken Raspberry Panini. Blackened Chcken, Havarti Cheese and a raspberry mayo all served on multi-grain bread. I also decided to go for the fried green beans with wasabi ranch dipping sauce. So after I paid I stood around and waited for my food — I started to see sandwiches come out of the window and was nervous. They were blonde in color(not very toasty), the cheese was not melted on the inside and very clearly looked like Velveeta. I hoped these were the Kid’s grilled cheeses and hoped mine would be better — these were sub par — no question. After dealing with the mumbling lady at the window — I felt I had made a huge mistake. Before I knew it, my order was up. It looked great! Whew! Dark and toasty on the outside and gooey on the inside. They butchered my name, but apologized when she realized. She handed over my green beans and off I went. Once we started eating we were wowed. Perfectly toasted bread, gooey, stringy cheese, fruity mayo — it just needed some arugula or something for that spice/peppery element. But the seasoning on the chicken was great. As for the green beans — also a fan. I would probably like them to have been crunchier(less cooked) on the inside, but the ranch was zippy from the wasabi and a perfect compliment. My bill was $ 14.44 — $ 8.50 for the panini and $ 5 for the green beans. So don’t expect too much from a plain grilled cheese for your kids from here — but a grown up panini — I highly recommend. As for service, that could use some work. If you need to be seated while you work, I understand that, but get a chair that is higher so your patrons can speak to you and can hear you. Also, a real ORDERHERE sign is called for — go to Kinkos and print one. 3.5 stars is warranted, but no halvesies allowed — the food bumped you to 4.

The sandwich was decent, I had the BBQ sandwich. However my experience as a whole was awful. They should really consider changing their name because if you are pressed for time, you should go somewhere else. I mean… It’s a cold sandwich and shouldn’t take that long to put together and heat on a panini press. By the time I got my sandwich there was no actual heat to the sandwich. Additionally, when you order your sandwich, regardless of the line or order in which it was paid for, they run on a lottery system. I think they put the names in a bowl for a particular sandwich, and when that sandwich is made, they call out one of the names in the bowl. If you ask them about it, they treat you really rudely and tell you to wait your turn. Don’t try to tell them that it was your turn, they won’t get it. I will never be getting a sandwich from them again, it wasn’t worth it.

I would give this food truck YUCK zero stars. I will start by saying the prices are outrageous…$ 9.00 for a small sandwich with no flavor, dry meat, no sauces, and will have you looking under the bread trying to find where the cheese is located. But to make this even better(sarcasm), is it comes with a side of bland chips, lesser of an amount that you can find in a single lays bag. For a vendor that gives only 4 choices on their menu(the vegetarian was of course not being offered so I had 3 to choose from), you would think they would have perfected those three! Golly! I regret wasting my money here, and I hope to warn others so you won’t do the same.

Just had the«Thanksgiving Day» turkey sandwich and it was AWFUL. The turkey was dry and processed and the chips came right out of a bag. Bread was subpar. Next time, I will stick with Chik Fil A rather than spend a fortune on a sandwich that is barely edible from a food truck that seems to be more about highway robbery than cooking.

So. Just ordered two Argentinian Cheese Burger at the Smyrna Food Truck Park. It was pretty bad. Both buns were burnt on the top. The burgers I think are pre-cooked, so that inside of the sandwich they are a bit dry, hard, and crispy. Not what you want from a burger. The cheese and sauce were okay. I think a burger is a hard thing to do unless it’s fresh. It was like an old cheeseburger that was put in a panini press. Maybe a more traditional panini from them would be good.

With a menu limited to three items, one would think PFT could produce their overpriced dry sandwiches in less than an hour– they cannot. The man who took our payment was rude and asked if we wanted to tip him before we ever saw our food. We did decide that the truck is aptly named, because if you had anything else to do, you will now be pressed for time. I would be upset waiting that long at any restaurant — but a truck that leaves its patrons standing in the sun for hours is a disgrace.

I’m starting to get this whole food truck thing. The more of them I try, the more I like it. Pressed For Time, a panini specialty truck, showed up in the parking lot this morning. I like that the menu is simple; there were only about five choices, so I went with the turkey and swiss with artichoke pesto. This is one tasty little sandwich… I keep reaching away from the keyboard to take another bite. The ciabatta bread is really fresh and they didn’t try to squeeze too much into the relatively small frame. The homemade potato chips are really good too(if not a little overcooked) with a good spice combination. The only drawback is the price; $ 2.50/slider(smaller than a baseball) and $ 8.50 for the full-size sandwich, which is a little bigger than a large English muffin. Maybe I’m just mad that it’s already all gone. ;-( I’ll definitely go back if they return!

Overpriced for a little sandwich. And the side of homemade chips looked pretty, but tasted way too salty. I won’t be going back.

I grabbed a panini today from these fellas while they were camped out at King Plow Arts. The menu had about a dozen tasty options(including the aforementioned«Hipster»). I too was tempted by the butter/fruit/bacon combo(you had me at bacon, i often say), but ultimately decided on the Croque Monseur. This sammy, while small, is gooey and delicious, with ham, melted cheese and white mustard. You had me at ham is practically the same, anyway. I would agree that the serving is modest at $ 8.50. Each panini includes chips(Ruffles are the only option), but it’s the kids brown-bag 1oz size. I did not have the same experience with the bread taste as Emily, but do worry about my hunger pangs in an hour as i finish my meal. A diet coke rounded out my order, and i noticed everything from grape soda to a lone Capri Sun in the cooler. How ’bout some Coke Zero for the dudes y’all? While I have no idea what the costs are for a food truck, I’m willing to overpay by 1 – 2 dollars to support a local business and help them get on their wheels(pun!).Service was quick and friendly and I’d gladly patron this truck again. (So long as i know dinner isn’t too far down the road.) My Recos as they develop their biz? –Bigger Sandwiches! –A baked chip option –More drink options would be swell Otherwise, a splendid experience.

Apparently Pressed for Time is the little sister of the Hail Caesar truck. They were one of the new offerings at the Howell Mill event last night, so I gave them a try. I got the chicken, provolone, & raspberry mayo sandwich. I thought $ 8.50 was a bit pricey especially when the bread tasted like it came out of a bag from Publix. The insides were good, though. The cheese was nice and gooey and the raspberry mayo was a nice fruity addition. The guy working the window was also friendly. It’s a solid 3.5 because they could’ve done better with the bread. It was over $ 10 for the sandwich, a handful of chips, and a soda. Definitely not the most affordable option, but nice if you’re looking for something on the lighter side perhaps. Though they did have something called«The Hipster» that had peanut butter, jelly, & bacon. I was tempted, but ultimately decided I like my arteries open for the time being. I might visit them again depending on what I’m in the mood for on that given night.
