This stuff is pretty cool. I’ve been joking about giving up cutting the grass and installing a product like this for years. I installed a shelter under my rather large deck(underdecking) and was about to install paver stones as a semi-permanent surface for lounging. At the last moment I swapped stones for ProGreen and am very pleased with the result. My one-year-old loves playing on the surface while we relax. Thinking about using it underneath a playset next so that I don’t have to mow and edge around it every week.

I have used Progreen on two of my properties. One of my properties looks great, but the other one not so much. It is streaky and looks like carpet. For a while it looked like Progreen was going to make it right, but their team started ignoring me. I just gave up and decided to live with what I have. The biggest issue has to do with the length of the grass. The samples I received had blades that were 1″ long. The grass installed is ¾″ long which makes a huge difference. I was about to ask them to replace it, but read in the contract the length can vary up to ¼″ so there wasn’t anything I could do. I highly recommend looking at the turf in their showroom when picking the length. I would not use Progreen again in the future.
