Hands down the worst club in atl! Ratio of guys to girls is always really bad… Like 20:1 bad! Known plenty of girls to get date raped here. Old security use to recruit for his prostitution ring here(and was probably doing some of the date raping). Security will steal drugs from dealers they catch then turn around and sell them to the crowd not even knowing what they are. If you bring a female be on your toes, because young black men here think it’s cute to grab ass and even genitals. Expect to wait in line even though it’s rarely busy these days. They want you stuck in line for two reasons. 1: it makes there shitty club look like it’s worth going to because there are people outside(no they don’t care if you have a good time in case you hadn’t picked up on that.). 2: they will offer you a «cut line» for $ 15 – 50 and no one would buy it if they idk actually let people into their empty club(yes they only want your money). I don’t care what they call it, it’ll be the worst club in atl until it burns down. 100% bad vibes

It was okay as I was only coming to check out the event and place for an upcoming event. They had three rooms that I saw, which was a pretty cool atmosphere. The event was for the younger crowd, so I didn’t get into the vibe as much. Of course it was a tuesday night, so I didn’t expect everything to be put out for everyone. I will have to go on the weekend and give a new updated review. (Legacy)

I’m kind of sad that I got an e-mail about them maybe closing for good but I love the Quad. My first time ever going was Jan 2013 for the New Year. I’ve been 10+ times ever since and I always have a wonderful time. I love the diversity in the people! I love that one room is someone performing, another room is just everyone dancing to what the DJ is playing, and another room is the bar. If you are a stuck up person who doesn’t want anyone touching or someone who’s always complaining about it being hot then don’t come here! I feel like this place is completely for the free and non-judgmental people who truly wants to just have fun. It’s on a rave/house style type of party. I hope they don’t close. This is the only place in Atlanta like this.

Came here on a Thursday night which was TRAP& Bass. Not really my thing, but I just wanted to check the place out. There was a very diverse crowd, which I like, but most of the people were hanging outside instead of on the dance floor which was strange to me. Some people there said Tuesday nights were better, but who does out on Tuesday night?! I’ll probably go back to check out a Kingdom event. Things to know: –It’s a $ 5 cover or free with college ID. No re-entry. –You get 2 drink tickets for shots from shot girls. I didn’t try them so I don’t know if they were any good. –Security will pat you down. –It’s in a VERY sketch part of town. Go with a group and don’t leave anything valuable in your car. There are guys walking around just looking for cars to break into.

I used to go to the Quad a lot but recently I have stopped mainly because they were shut down for drugs(from what i hear) and re opened. I love Dubstep drum and bass and all music along those lines but i can have fun dance around and be crazy without drugs so i dont like going there anymore! Mover on to bigger and better places!

I went on a Thursday. It was not that many people but I still saw the diversity. It was college kids on the night I went unfortunately. I was talking to some kid about music so that was a good conversation. It was bit brisk out so we didn’t stay long. The bathrooms look crazy and it looked like a high school. It was cool though… I guess.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My boyfriend and I wanted to see one artist there on a Saturday night. The tickets for the whole show of random acts and ONE person we wanted to see were $ 25. We decided to pay for the super overpriced tickets because we wanted to see that one person. Their website said that he would go on at 11pm so we got there at 10:45. We sat there for about 30 minutes of the same artist and when they didn’t go on, we asked a security guard if he knew anything about it. He was playing on his phone and completely blew us off. No one knew anything until we walked to the front desk and they said that he had already gone on so we left. I called to speak to the manager the next day to see if there was any way to get a refund since we didn’t even see the one person we wanted to and it we their fault. He started yelling at me and told me it wasn’t his problem. We also went to a concert there in 2011 and their equipment shut down cause it got so hot in there and the humidity broke their equipment. There was also a pool of sweat on the floor. Plus, there are naked 16 year old girls running around everywhere. This place is disgusting. LONGLIVETERMINALWEST

Just look at the gif. That’s all you need to see. Are you a teenager or teenager at heart? Do you like glow sticks? dubstep? And the possibility of getting shot? Do you say things like PLUR? This might be the place for you. For me personally, I didn’t have much fun. Quad was one of those places where I walked in and said, I need a drink. Those personal feelings aside, the Quad is actually a huge venue. It has an enormous capacity and has some pretty great open spaces. Low cover charges and decent priced drinks. I guess you could have a good time here. The smoking area is outside in the back so the indoor area doesn’t smell. It’s okay I guess but I’ve been once or twice and that was enough. I guess I would come if there was a dj I wanted to see or if my friends dragged me, but not my first choice.

Went here only once, but it was the best dance club experience I ever had. They have 3 dj’s blasting music, everyone is dancing, its not boring like going to Echelon 3000 where everyone is standing. What’s also great is there’s a smoking area OUTSIDE! Thank you quad for thinking of the people who don’t smoke and would like to not get second hand. If your looking for a good dubstep techno club this is the spot. I danced so hard, drank so much. Had a friggin’ blast! Bring your glow sticks and have your DD ready.

I’m gonna go ahead and say that everyone on here who has given this place a 4 or 5 star rating is probably 18 – 20 years old, and they have no idea what they’re talking about. That being said, if you enjoy dubstep and dancing around with a bunch of pill-popping youngsters, then this is definitely the place for you. Don’t get me wrong, the venue itself is actually kinda cool. There are multiple rooms, upstairs and down, and a pretty chill outdoor area. All of which is the only reason I am giving this place 2 stars rather than 1. That, and the fact that I do have some really fond memories here when the place actually WAS something. I’ve been coming here for YEARS. Wayyyyy before this place was Quad or Spring 4th Center. Like back in the days of «Red Door», which I really miss. This place has just gone completely down-hill: from the security at the door, to the people who actually frequent this place, to the guy who owns it, and whoever plans their stupid parties. I’ve watched this place deteriorate to a state that I just cannot stand anymore. I don’t plan on ever going here again. By the way, this is NOT a rave! Kids these days…

If you ever want to go to a rave in Atlanta, this is the place to go. I came here for a rave for a Halloween party and this venue is pretty amazing. It’s spacious and they had multiple DJs inside and outside. You will see all sorts of crazy costumes here from guys dressed in only a speedo to girls dressed up as fairies. Lots of glow sticks and LED lights. The play a range of dubstep, electronic, and trance in various rooms. Have an open mind and you’ll have a blast.

I’ve been here a couple times for different electronic artists. The establishment looks like an old theatre from outside, and then inside is super spacious with various rooms. The most populated rooms are usually the main dancefloor upstairs and then dancefloor downstairs, each with different DJs. The DJ downstairs usually plays dubstep while the upstairs DJ is usually the featured electronic DJ. Clientele looks kinda young and the general attire is very casual. It’s an okay establishment, but I’ll give it an extra star for being probably one of Atlanta’s only electronic venue.

The last time I went to the Quad was for New Years Eve, but I’m going to make sure I start going often again this summer. What I love about the Quad is how cool everyone is. Don’t know how to dance? Who gives a shit! Dressed in a banana costume? Hell yeah! Just come have fun and dance your worries away for the night. Every single time I go I get dressed up in some crazy costume, dance for hours and meet a bunch of awesome people. Now, depending on the event being hosted, it can get EXTREMELY crowded(which can be annoying sometimes), but aside from that I love this place. Also, get there early if you want to avoid the long ass line, seriously.

After my first review, I returned to Quad, partially because a friend was going and also because I realized my memory from my first visit was a little blurry. I enjoyed it a lot. There are a lot of guys without shirts on which just seems strange, but aside from them, everyone dresses in a really fun and interesting fashion. Glowsticks, animal-themed hoodies, gas masks and full out costumes all appear to be the norm here. The music is also great. It’s not your typical top 40s, but more an electronic music venue. I was really impressed with how exciting dubstep is at a club. But I start to question if using the word club is really appropriate for Quad. There’s many difference between it and the norm club standard for Atlanta. For one, there’s no dress code. Wherein, usually you would think this might mean people will come in with torn up jeans and jerseys, that’s not the case as I mentioned earlier. It is exciting to see what everyone is wearing at Quad. Also, it does not feel like«the same old club thing» that we all seem to have gotten used to. It’s new, it’s different, it’s a breath of fresh air from the full-of-themselves clubs like Opera. The drinks are reasonably priced. No more $ 6 for an 8 oz coke or $ 12 for a mix well drink. I had a margarita, a screw driver and a rum and coke while at Quad, each was $ 6 or less. For all of my future clubbing, I’ll look to Quad as my first choice for a fun and wild night out.

The fact that there are only four reviews further solidifies just how awesome of a place The Quad is. I am honored to have even been welcomed into such a fantasy and thus wanted to express my gratitude for having the best night out I have ever had in my life. There is nothing bad to say about a night out at the quad, you get what you give. if you are lucky enough to be invited or introduced to the quad take it as a gift and just know that this is one of those times when despite not knowing what your about to walk into I can assure you that the time there will be like no other! «Moving art work, it’s likes moving art work in here»

You’ll make a lot of 5-minute friends here because everyone’s really happy off of God knows what. I wasn’t quite sure how you’re supposed to dance to electronic dance music, but anything goes! This is the place to wear really fun and funky outfits. Black tutus and glow-in-the-dark paint? Bring it! It’s not like Opera where you have to dress to the nines. Bright bras, shirtless guys, sweaty limbs are welcome. They have many fans around the dark rooms where things glow and lights flash. Dubstep in the basement, DJs spinning in the main room, 2 bars, and a fairly large, deserted backyard, where people sit around and chat. Thankfully there aren’t many creepers who stand in the shadows and stare at you. $ 5 cover on weekends. Free parking nearby. So why not?

I’ve never had a bad time here :). They have superb music almost every day of the week. I am not sure what other place in Atlanta is packed at 4AM on a Tuesday, haha. Perhaps a little bit of rennovation wouldn’t hurt, especially in the downstairs bathroom ;).

This is an EVENTCENTER. so if your looking for a large spot to host a party with 1,500+ here you go. This is all part of the Spring4th Complex so if you have smaller events that have smaller sections that work too. place is currently in the«make over» and will be durning 2011. When you don’t have a few million dollars to blow the changes and upgrades have to come over time. I’ve done production work for 3 different events at this place, this year. My only complaint, which they might have fixed by now, was the lack of power in the main room. For the sound we rock we got to have 140amps of clean power, not counting for lighting/visual needs. Because this is an EVENTCENTER every event is different. Some promoters bring in MORESOUND, some bring in MASSIVE lighting/laser shows, some bring in all sorts of visuals, and yea some people don’t bring in crap and some do just that, bring crap. so don’t judge this place by one party! !! Far as owners… and staff at the place… I gotta say Mr. Rick is a nice man and very helpful. Unlike some event center owners. like NATC for example. The man is easy to work with so I will suggest this place to anyone looking for a large spot to host an event. Chris is cool too and easy going, he’s the tech support for Spring4th from my understanding. The whole block is changing this year so make sure to come check out some cool shows here in 2011!!! Forget what you’ve heard about Spring4th, it is a new chapter baby!

I went here for the Skrillex show last night. And I was really frustrated with a few things. Mainly that this place doesn’t show up on any app or site. And so I’m adding it to Unilocal. Venue: Cool enough venue. They have a big main area in the back, big stage where everyone seemed to love getting on and doing a lil boogie. And they have a great sound system, plenty of bass which is great :) Also they have tons of lasers and lights which is super fun. They have a full bar in the back. And smoking is allowed but great ventilation for people like me that tend to have their eyes and throats dried out at other places and are forced to squint and develop a super fantastically unattractive smokers cough. Parking: There is a parking lot like .2 miles past the venue on the right, and its $ 10. THAT parking lot is for suckers. don’t park there. ACROSS the street. DIRECTLY across the street. is $ 5 parking. :) park there. The night i was there: SUPER fun and cool music. I mean its DUBSTEP. whats not to like.(unless it gets repetitive. THEN its boring. but the DJ was awesome.) Enough lasers and glow-sticks and well… any night is going to be fun. Although it was 18+.so yes. WAY too many teenies and that was ultimately why i left early in search of a more mature crowd. Overall 4 stars is pushing it. I would say 3.6 is a better star rating. Overall cool place that I would go to again if i wanted to be in a place that reminds me of the year 1986(i was born in 1987 so i have no idea what the year 1986 was like but you get the idea). Actually its like 1986 got in a car accident with the year 1995. All in all. Good stuff.
