Relinquish Spa

Went there on a Groupon for 10 sessions of lipo cavitation. I had 7 of lipo cavitation and 2 of the laser lipo. The staff was amazing but however I Saw no results. I also had a laser body wrap in the blanket and saw no visible change. I Have had lipo cavitation and laser lipo in other spas and the cavitation roller and pads became hot and afterwards I could visibly see a difference. Here I was told that I would feel sore. I felt nothing. I switched from the cavitation to the laser lipo and that machine was equally ineffective. I think the machine needs updating or replaced. I think the staff is overly friendly to compensate for the crappie equipment and décor.

I went in for a peel. Whatever I got done was not a peel. This did absolutely nothing and honestly I was appalled at what I saw when it was all finished. The products used were your basic over the counter stuff from wal-​mart. When I go to a «spa» for any treatment, I expect to have a PROFESSIONAL service with PROFESSIONAL products. Seeing the «Equate» (WALMART BRAND) & «Loreal» products really just pissed me off. I could have done a better job at home. This is the «piggly wiggly» of spas. I would NEVER recommend this place for any «spa» treatments. I would have said something to the owner, but honestly I do not ever want to step foot in there again.

Well the staff here is nice they do bad for tips at the end of your service instead of asking you if your service was good. also the building the rooms are too small for a lot of the services that they’re offering, like their wraps I had one done and haven’t had one since.

Did this through a Groupon. Had a terrible time getting an appointment and even reaching them. I finally complained and got some appointments, but not enough to use the whole package before I left Atlanta. I liked the technicians, though I saw zero results from the lipo cavitation I had done. Not sure if I would come back and see them again. Also, housed in a crappy looking office building…

I came to this place based on Groupon. Suffice to say, I understand why they have constant groupons listed. The owner has a bad attitude and the place is bad about keeping appointments. If you value your time and your money, you should look to take your business elsewhere.

I arrived for my appointment and was immediately greeted by a service provider and whisked into a room for my treatment. Excellent spa! This spa is wonderful the practitioners provide personal experience and attention to you and totally cater to the needs of their clients. I would definitely recommend this spa whether it be for massage or any of the numerous other services they provide!

Great spa! This is a small spa which is great because you get to know your technicians and have a more personal experience with the employees. I’ve tried the lipo cavitaion treatments and have had a good result from them. I have also done the clay body wrap and infrared blanket that they offer. The clay wrap is awesome, it feels like getting a full body facial! I highly recommend coming to this spa.

OMG! do not waste your time or money. Getting an appointment is ridiculous! The owner is clearly trying to get quick cash with the groupon specials without being able to keep up with the demand. If you call, you will NEVER speak with a live person. Your appointments will be spread so far apart that it is counter productive! and the ‘spa’ is stinky!

I have experienced several services at Relinquish Spa including massage therapy, chakra balancing/​energy healing and intuitive readings. I have had a great experience with all of the services I have had here. Relinquish Spa provides me with an opportunity to relax and get balanced. I have referred several friends to this business also and they are very happy with the results! I will definitely continue to see the wonderful people at Relinquish Spa!

I’m a college student at Georgia Tech, and the stress can take a huge toll on my body. I’ve done quite a bit of massage therapy before as well as energy work, but not on a frequent basis. However, after the semester was over I was quite a mess from being hunched over my desk all night, and was willing to splurge a little to get myself fixed up. I found Relinquish Spa online and saw that it was extremely close to Tech’s campus (it’s right across from the Center of Puppetry Arts), and went ahead and called to make an appointment.
The parking lot is quite small, but it’s free, which is a definitely a plus in Midtown! The office is located upstairs in a small white house. It’s probably the only house in Midtown, but I almost missed it the first time. However, the location is unlike any other massage place I went to. There are two rooms, and each room is plushly decorated with many hanging scarves, piles of pillows, and soft rugs. The office has the scent of incense and aromatherapy, and there are several candles lit throughout the room. Being the hippie chick that I am, it was definitely my kind of place! I was met by my therapist Sheri, and she offered me a complimentary cup of hot tea of my choosing while I filled out my forms. She then led me to a massage bed with a basket for my clothes, and allowed me to undress while she stepped out of the room.
Because of my experience with energy work before, I opted for the Chakra Massage as listed on the website. It’s a combination of massage work with a bit of chakra balancing, usually through Reiki. During my session she played Chakra music and turned down the lights, and lit a new stick of incense. Sheri’s energy healing was very strong, and she intuitively went through each of my chakra centers, sensing any blocks I had and helping me to breathe through them while she cleared them. She also placed several crystals over my body. However, my favorite thing was the massage aspect of the therapy. Sheri has a very strong and deep touch, unlike most other therapists I’ve seen. By looking how I stood, she knew immediately that my shoulders and my glutes/​hips where out of place, and she spent the majority of her time working those out. I never knew my body was in such bad shape! But after she released all the tension and knots, I felt completely different. In addition she hit a lot of marma/​meridian points during the massage to induce further clearing of energy. By the end of it, I felt nearly high and completely relaxed. It was such a change from the past semester!
One thing I really loved about the experience was how they really made sure that you understand that any therapy involves both the mind, body, and spirit. And they definitely delivered in this aspect. Long story short, an excellent location, beautiful decorations, personable therapists, and amazing services make this an incredible place to get a massage. I definitely recommend!
