Rice King Jr

Came in a week ago for orange chicken. I might have enjoyed the food more had I not seen a tiny roach scurry across the floor as I waited to get my food. I tried to eat some of it anyways and didn’t much care for it. Most of the time orange chicken has orange «zest» in it, not large chunks of peels in a sickly sweet brown sauce. Maybe the roach killed my appetite, but I ate less than half of this before throwing it out.

They say they deliver, but my hotel is less than 2 miles away and they won’t deliver here because it’s «too far.» Seriously? If it were walking distance, I’d do the walking. This is not what folks expect when you advertise ‘delivery.’

I think that the food was good and took very little time for them to arrive with the delivery price was okay so on a scale of 1 to 10 they get a strong 9

They deliver!. After about 45 minutes my meal arrived. Huge portions and tasty. So happy.

I ordered
sweet and sour chicken with sauce on the side & honey sauce. Nice size for the lunch special.
My hubby had kung pao chicken but used sriracha sauce we had at home for a bit more «pow»
It may be spicy but my husband loves more spice than most and it has to be pretty good since its all he ever orders.
I love the owner Ms. Crystal who takes the orders! She is super nice and helpful when it comes to making a selection! Just tell her what you normally like and she will give you a great new meal to try. I recommend this place but I do NOT recommend the teriyaki chicken or the wings. They are FARRR to small.

Remember this is like the ultimate fast food chinese so don’t expect much but great for a cozy day in +THEY DELIVER! :)

Yes, they are one of the only places that deliver in this zip code, but the food was shockingly bad. The chicken wings had a strong fishy taste to them. The wings were tiny. The fried rice was of low quality. My mom ordered fried wings but got wings with some sort of brown sauce on them. A meal this bad can only end one of two ways and they both will have something to do with the bathroom. So basically we wasted 25.

Perfect for a rainy, lazy night. The General Tso’s is good, the Hot & Sour soup is AWESOME! They deliver!!! They said it would take 30 – 40 minutes — they were here in 25 minutes. I would recommend this place to any of my fellow Jefferson Park (East Point) neighbors!

These guys are super nice! May not be the best, but it is good for delivery in my neck of the woods…
