I hate to be the first one to go below average on this place, but I’m unimpressed. Various food trucks frequent my place of business and this is the first time I’ve partaken of any of them, so maybe my expectations are set too high. Most of my experience with them is not local or maybe I’m thinking of the fancy west-coast trucks on ‘No Reservations’. It is, however, only their third review. I can confirm that they do serve sandwiches, and average-sized ones, at that. I’m currently munching on the«Cindy Anne», which is hickory-smoked turkey(tastes like publix’s generic brand) and swiss cheese, which they forgot to give me. I got mine on sourdough bread with spicy mustard and tomato. You can have them add lettuce, mayo, onion and/or yellow mustard, if you like. My first impression of the sandwich is, «I could could do SUCH a better job on this!» For $ 7.00, I’d offer to toast the bread or at least give me a pickle spear. Maybe have honey mustard or some sprouts available? What about bacon, ferchissakes? The Zapp’s Cracked Pepper & Sea Salt chips are the saving grace for this experience. At $ 1.00/bag, it’s about average for a good product. This sandwich doesn’t suck, but it’s not nearly as good as the one I’d get at deli I was headed to when I waylayed myself in the name of convenience. Maybe food trucks are just supposed to provide sustinence for when you’re in a rush and have to wolf down whatever’s close-by. Maybe I shouldn’t get too philospohical about someone hawking ‘wiches from a converted moving van that’s taking up 12 of the best spaces in the whole parking lot. Maybe I’m just pissed that my reality isn’t living up to my expectations… because that never happens. Dine at your own risk…

MASSIVE sandwiches and DELICIOUS too! I had my first sandwich from Rolling Reubens called the Cyndy Anne when they were at Park Bench this past Friday. Nothing short of what Reuben’s Deli serves — only this time I don’t have to be on campus to satisfy my late night big stack sandwich hunger!
