Great location to 285 South. Prices are comparable to other metro Atlanta salons. Stylists are average at best. Sadly, the atmosphere has something to be desired. It’s not uncommon for the owner & other stylists to engage in berating conversations regarding customers in & out of the customers’ presence. Customers are critiqued & criticized for not scheduling weekly appointments. In addition to beginning scolded for«improper» hair care, customers are not offered consultation for better hair maintenance in between appointments. One’s salon should be a place of peace & serenity as customers are paying for a service & a positive experience. A turnover in regular clients & stylists is definitely noticeable.

I still love GiGi and the rest of the staff at the salon. I’ve referred a few women to the salon and they either became instant clients or couldn’t stop raving about how great their styles turned out! The wait time varies and that’s expected at most salons that have a small staff with a decent sized clientele. The longest I’ve ever had to wait was about 3 hours(which was for a t-up, deep condition, cut, and style) and that was only because the client before me was getting a weave(by the way, if I hadn’t seen it get done, I wouldn’t have been able to tell that it was a weave. That’s how good the woman’s hair looked!).
