Salon H2O Midtown

Unfortunately, I have yet to actually receive services by the salon. I was receiving services from a freelancing nail tech who no longer performs services there. From the two times that I have been there, the salon was never open at the indicative time, so I wouldn’t suggest attempting to be a walk in when they «first open». The salon is set up very nice, and they always kept it clean. However, the placement of the salon is a bit sketch. You can’t tell from the street, but if you park in the back, you will notice that they are upstairs from what appears to be some sort of homeless help center (I don’t really know how else to describe it). On the bright side, these vagrants are begging you for food or money as you enter the building. Again, I haven’t received services here, but the stylist all seem to be nice. I was in a completely different room, so I’m not sure how much gossip takes place here. I’m assuming the salon owner is a guy, whose name escapes me. I had asked about their natural hair services, upon which he informed me that they will roller set or blow your hair straight. It’s totally your preference. So hey, I may go back for that since I need these ends trimmed. Oh, and if you do decide to drive there, you have to take the one way street off of North Ave. The street is right behind the Mandarin Palace, so drive slowly, or you’ll miss it.
