This is an above average fast-casual lunch place. I visited for the first time today and had a decent lunch. They have one counter where you order and another one where you pick up if you’re getting take out. If you’re eating in, you get a number and a server will bring your food. The service was a little on the slow side. There was one cashier handling orders, and I waited in line maybe 4 minutes or so. Then after my order was placed, it took about 7 minutes for it to come out. The menu is a little unusual. They have sandwiches, pizza and some pasta dishes. They also sell Cinnabon pastries. I opted for the Roast Beef and Provolone sandwich. This sandwich comes in a small, medium and large size. The medium I got should be sufficient for most people. The highlight of the sandwich was the freshly baked and toasted bun. The bread was good, and I had no complaints about the roast beef either. It appears all their sandwiches are heated. The sandwich I got was heated with cheese in it and some mushrooms. I am a big horseradish fan, which is one reason I got the roast beef and provolone, since it comes with horseradish. Don’t expect to get blown away by a hot and spicy horseradish — this one was on the mild side. The seating was adequate and comfortable. I liked their free wifi, which had a good signal and no registration or password required. It was fairly crowded, so it looks like they have a following. The value I got for the price was good. The sandwich with tax came to $ 5.93, which is pretty good for a fairly large sized sandwich.

My first and only Schlotzsky’s experience was a spontaneous drop-in lunch. So, no research went into this decision. Other than my friend saying, «Hey! Let’s go in here since Smoothie King moved.» What I noticed first was that this Schlotzsky’s location is also a dual Cinnabon… Super Classy. And that they have a limited menu consisting of a few different pizzas, flat breads, sandwiches and salads. But, they were out of any and all pizza items. Which is basically half their menu. Then, after ordering with not the most welcoming, nice or informative employee, I grabbed the only two high chairs they had, and they were covered in food and grease. My son didn’t like his Ham and Cheese Sandwich much because it came on a burger bun? I mean, he really wanted a cheese pizza. And then my friend and myself both ordered the Chicken Avocado Flat Bread. It was okay. Not bad, but wasn’t anything special. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they have gluten free bread options.

I’ve always been a fan of Schlotzsky’s. When compared to other sandwich chains, I’ll pick Schlotzsky’s every time. My favorite items are the chicken pesto pizza and the original sandwich(without onions) on regular sourdough. My favorite chips are the cracked black pepper. The cookies(I prefer the oatmeal raisin) and the brownies are de-li-cious! And this locations sells Cinnabon rolls so this alone makes them better than any other chain sandwich place. These are not fancy sandwiches, but they are hot, well-made and tasty. I’ve eaten at other sandwich chains and I feel like I’m going to lose a filling on the bread, but I’ve never had that problem at Schlotzsky’s. I wish they had one near me. *sigh* Tip: I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining about the saltiness of the sandwiches. Processed meats are already salty and adding mustard to the sandwich makes it even saltier, so maybe ask them to hold the mustard and the sandwich may not be as salty. Unilocal 100 #15

Pleasantly surprised … Had a Reuben Sandwich on rye bread … they were almost closing when we came in, but they were very nice and my food came out nice and hot and yummy… i LOVE the hot sauce they have … This was only my first time here, but I look forward to coming back and trying other sammiches … This place is NOTHING fancy at all, but hey, i dig it.

After having many, many sandwiches in my lifetime I’m just going to say it: «This is the best sandwich in the world.» I’m not kidding. I always get the same thing, the Original Deluxe medium. When I order it, I imagine I look quite like those contestants on Survivor when that Jeff guy rolls out a big old plate of steaks and chicken. In fact, if I was on Survivor and this was the reward, I would swim, run, crawl, and climb so fast it would take a slow-motion camera to make out my silhouette. One word of warning. No matter what Schlotzsky’s you go to across United States, they always put too much mustard on the sandwich. Always get the mustard on the side. There. Now you owe me one.

I’ve eaten here many times. The food is salty — there’s no mistaking that. The ice machine runs out of ice a lot and the soda/condiment station is super busy and congested a lot of times. The sourdough ruben is tasty but sometimes the service can be slow and they forget this, that or the other that goes with your order.

There is something about a Schlotzsky’s sandwich that rings my bell. I do believe it might be the sourdough bread. Anyway, it’s a treat for my buds when I find myself close to one and hungry. I like it; it’s something different. They cost a little too much for what you get, but I pay it because I like it. They really made a good move adding Cinnabons to the menu. Yummy yum. Happy Fat Dance in full effect! On this visit, the lady got annoyed with me and showed it. I understand though, I ordered the wrong size Cinnabon, forgot to tell her no mayo, then I neglected to take my number to the table with me. See? Don’t you understand her annoyance? Still, professionalism dictates that she smile and suck it up. Sip, sip.

Inefficient drink station lacks additional ice option other than fountain Coke dispenser. Therefore, this area congests fast and it is rather annoying. Food, on the other hand, while slow to arrive, was quite delicious.

Seemed very unorganized, took forever to get our food. When we did get our food, we only got half the order and then other tables, who ordered after us, started getting their food; we had to ask for the rest of our order in the end.

I’ve had Schlotsky’s at a few locations over the years. None impressed me. Had take out from this one for a working lunch. I just don’t get it. The food tastes like crap. This is your cheapo cafeteria style deli meat. little flavor, way salty and just bad for you.. the vaunted sour dough rolls are oily and greasy. Go to any Schlotsky’s if you want a sandwich that tastes like cardboard with enough sodium to fill an ocean. How can they even call this a deli!!!

This Schlotzsky’s is better than the others around. Consistent in the food and the staff is always pleasant and happy. They also now have Cinnabon cinnamon rolls!

Consistent good food from a chain place, that’s always a plus. This one is close by me and I go in for lunch once in a while, service is always friendly and quick, food is great, prices aren’t bad, and the parking lot here(a strip mall) has a good amount of room to park even when it’s busy. What else can I say? It’s a good place to eat a quick bite, sandwich, salad, or pizza.

Mh… Schlotzsky’s… Okay, so I went here and was pleasantly surprised by the outgoing attitude of the woman behind the counter, damn I wish I had gotten her name– because much props to her! I came in, had never been, and was contemplating over the large menu– she asked if I needed help, I explained I had never been to a Schlotzsky’s before and she very enthusiastically started giving me some options… one of which was«The Original» Let me just leave you with a blurp from their website… «Home of The Original® Sandwich. Lean smoked ham, Genoa and cotto salamis, and melted cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses layered with black olives, red onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and our signature dressing on toasted Sourdough bread.» YESPLZ!

I know it’s a chain and it’s not nearly as popular as it was 10 or 15 years ago but I still really like a Schlotzsky’s sandwich when I am in the area. I think their sandwiches have a unique flavor. I like the toasty sourdough bread, the melted cheese and black olives. I generally get one of the turkey sandwiches. The smoked turkey breast is a lighter option with light mayo, lettuce, tomato and no cheese. The original turkey has all good stuff on it — cheeses, regular mayo, olives, lettuce, tomato, onion and dressing(also salami, which I omit). They can add jalapeño peppers upon request. They have other things here but I stick to the sandwiches. There are not too many of these places around anymore but when I am close to this one it is a great place to get a good, quick, casual bite to eat.
