Sig Samuels Dry Cleaning

They’re the best! I’ve been in ATL for about a year and a half now and when I arrived, I shopped around for a decent dry cleaner for a while! Decent in terms of price, convenience and customer service. In areas I’ve lived at — DC/​NOVA and NY, you can find affordable dry cleaners ($ 1.99 per garment even) and/​or groupon deals that make for a less uncomfortable big drop off experience. ATL… not so much. That being said, Sig is very fair on prices, makes sure items are delivered on time and everyone I’ve spoken to makes a valiant effort to be thoughtful and helpful. This is a huge win for those in the area that are always on the run and dropping off clothes is just one stop, of many!

I received a phone call at 3:30pm asking if I could attend an interview at 8:30am the next day in Athens. I needed my suit pressed and called around to see if anyone could do it that day and have it ready asap. They were the only ones who said they would and to top it off, they had it pressed 5 minutes after I handed it to them! My lifesaver for the day and now my new dry cleaners!

Hands down this is the best dry cleaners in Atlanta if not the entire southeast. This family owned and operated business understands the importance of customer service and neighborhood loyalty. Whether you have a cap or a wedding dress these guys take care of all articles as if they belong to someone in their family!!! Thanks for everything Sigs!!! Keep it up

Love this cute dry cleaners! They were so friendly and kind and QUICK. I had a simple dress dry cleaned, and they did a wonderful job. I had never been anywhere for dry cleaning before, so this was a very positive experience. And it was super affordable. I’ll definitely be taking some other things there!

This is my favorite cleaners! I brag about them to everyone, they are always friendly and fast! Same day service and they handwrite all the orders like an old school cleaners. All this, and they are one of the cheapest in town too!

Yesterday as I picked up a round of dry-​cleaning from Sig Samuel’s I realized I’ve never added a review for their fabulous work. Everyone else here is right: Sig Samuel’s is the best dry-​cleaner in Atlanta. I trust them with everything from my husband’s cotton button-​downs to my most delicate silk pieces to my wedding and reception dresses. They take fabulous care of each and every piece we bring them, and they’re so nice! Always a pleasure to drop in.

There’s just nobody better. Excellently skilled at their craft, super friendly, total Atlanta neighborhood institution. I even trusted them with a stain on a Prada bag and they did a great job. The Sig’s family is always on time with prices that can’t be beat for the quality and trust they bring to work every day.

Building is a bit scary. (I’m still getting used to Atlanta.) But, the service is good, well-​priced and fast. The staff here is also very courteous. I’ll definitely be back.

I loved the amazing service I received from the family that owns Sig Samuels. I went in at 7:00am with a delicate garment that required same day service. They did an amazing job, were incredibly friendly, fast, and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

I have been using Sig Samuels as my dry cleaner for two months now and they continue to be amazing! I swear they use magic to get my cotton jackets and slacks to hold a press. And best of all, they revived a favorite suit jacket that was showing ripples after years of wear and dry cleaning. Again, nice group of folks who remember your name and turn around dry cleaning quickly at a very low price.

Friendly, fast, and cheap service everytime.

I feel slightly weird for Unilocaling a Dry Cleaner place, but this place is solid. Like… I’ve gone to 453 405 dry cleaners in my lifetime from when I was little to now, and Sig Samuels is one of the best.
I think I’ve come here every 6 months the past 2 years. Each time I’ve had stellar customer service and really nice people help get my clothes in. Plus it’s pretty cheap place to do my dry cleaning. They’re fast, efficient, and get everything done within 5 mins of me walking in. I usually pick up my clothes 3 days later.
Parking is in the back so no worries!
Sig Samuels is also next to Hacienda and right across Trader Joes/​Sbux/​Ah Mahs. Easy find once you spot it. In fact, the last time I was here, I dropped off my dry cleaning and parked myself at Sbux to do work. Great location for those who just need a quick drop and need a place to study/​work.
Oh and it’s also somewhat close to Peidmont Park, so… drop off and take a run if you want.

My company had an event in Buckhead that required about 60 shirts be shipped from Texas, cleaned and starched, and delivered to a hotel. Sig made it a breeze and delivered the shirts earlier than they were scheduled to arrive.
Everything looked perfect and helped make a nice professional impression. Really appreciate the out-​of-​state assist.

Sorry for the one star but Sig Samuel’s work has been disappointing and just bad. I always thought this place was okay because the clothes do not come back smelling fresh and the ironing is off. Lately though, my clothes come back not cleaned at all, NO stains removed (couldn’t even get one?!) and not ironed. I actually thought that maybe they accidently did not dry clean the clothes but it’s happened more than once.
Yes, the service is amazing and the guys there are so sweet and friendly. That’s why I kept coming back here. However, I just can’t forgive the repeated bad jobs. I’m looking for a new dry cleaner.

How many years have I looked for a solid and reliable dry cleaner that doesn’t cost and arm and a leg… too many to count; more than the fingers on two hands and before that I didn’t need a dry cleaners.
Anywho, this place is great. The clothes come out perfect every time. I just picked up 10 lightly starched dress shirts and two suits, how much was my bill you might ask? I’m so glad you did, $ 35 bucks!!!
They look fantastic and they have actually been cleaned! (unlike every other dry cleaner in midtown where I question whether they were cleaned or just hung on a line to air dry)
The same family has owned this joint for fifty years. The customer service is excellent. Stop going to other crappy dry cleaners and go here!

Have I not reviewed this place yet? It’s a shame, because they consistently leave you with a smile on your face and should be the reason Unilocal was founded in the first place. Simply put, these guys are awesome and seemingly know everyone by their first and last name regardless of the last time you went there.

Honestly, I don’t really use dry cleaners, but I stopped into Sig Samuels after work to pick up some clothes with a friend of mine and I was so impressed that I might just start.
First of all the personalities and service at Sig Samuels are great. As soon as we walked in, they knew my friends name. He’s just a normal customer who has been coming here for about 3 years and people were coming out of the backroom to say hi. After a few jokes, they quickly found his clothes and rung him up in no time. My friend had several shirts dry cleaned and it was only $ 5. I can see how people would discover Sig Samuels and never ever go to another dry cleaners. It is a true family business.
Judging by the mountains of clothes they had waiting to be picked up, they have quite the clientele. With the convenient location at the corner of Monroe and 8^th Street, they are accessible to people all over town. They also have plenty of parking in the lot behind their historic building. I don’t have much of a need to have my clothes dry cleaned, but the moment I do, I will go to Sig Samuels, an Atlanta institution for a reason.
