I’ve lived in this community since 2009, and upon my arrival — I absolutely LOVED the property! Its quiet, the neighbors are really nice, but nice enough that everyone pretty much minds their own business. Parking is great, and the grounds are well kept! Management was nothing short of AWESOME! If there was a maintenance issue — someone came to fix it ASAP! Pest control — my unit was sprayed! Even if I needed something small like speaking with the manager … they delivered! That’s until(queue the music … Dun dun DUN!!!) 2011! Since 2009, there’s been at least 5 – 7 staff changes(and that’s just from me actually counting. Who know what went on when I didn’t need anything), They barely answered the phone, and maintenance calls were slightly delayed. Okay so no biggie, the office is small, so I can’t expect for them to jump every time the phone rings, and maybe maintenance was short staffed for the day. Again, no biggie! No fires or busted pipes … so I can work around that Let’s fast forward to 2013 when the management company changed for the property! Its now owned by ZRS properties. BIGMISTAKE! They take almost 2 weeks to cash the rent check, I had an issue with the water pressure in the kitchen and it took them damn near 2 days to even LOOKATIT, the power went out on the left side of the apartment(lighting for the kitchen/living room) and when I turned the breaker, clearly it was burned out because it kept flicking off. So I called the office at 2:49pm to put in a work order — by 4:49pm no one had come by. I called back specifically asking if someone will be by to fix BEFORE the close of business, Meredith said, «Yes». Welp, come 6pm, no one showed. So I left a nice/nasty message for the office the following morning at 8:58am requesting that someone call me back ASAP to give me an update! Come 12:35pm — NOCALL/NO SHOW! Now at this point I’m BEYOND livid! I call the office DEMANDING to speak with the manager! Of course, I’m told the manager is out of the office today, and she immediately went into her schpeel saying there was an emergency last night, but someone will be here today for sure. Yeah right! I won’t hold my breath on that one! I cannot WAIT to move out of here, and if I could afford it, I’d break my lease!

I feel we are being charged way to much almost $ 900 to live in a 650 sq ft place where the leasing office never answers the phone to provide adequate service. When we moved in our apartment the electrical sockets did not work and still do not work in half the apartment. We constantly battle with cockroaches i mean the huge water bug kind, centipedes, beetles, spiders, you name it we’ve seen it and we are very clean and tidy. I’ve lived downtown in Alexan Metrowest when it was brand new for $ 900 and had more sq footage with no bugs, better customer service, and everything worked in the apartment. The dishwasher does not work adequately, the toilet, bathroom sink, and bathtub always clogs. The gym needs an upgrade, there’s always only 1 treadmill working, and overall I would not recommend anyone move to Spalding Crossing. I will be moving once my lease is up.

Okay… here we go. I am so over living here. Spalding Crossing has changed their leasing office staff, and I wish it had stayed the same. They NEVER pick up the phone in the leasing office, and the staff constantly forgets to put in work orders… especially Molly… do NOT give a work order to Molly. I had a squirrel living in the walls of my apartment for a month because she forgot to put a work order in, and every time I called to check up on the status she would just lie and say it was being taken care of… then finally I got a hold of the old property manager Sarah(who was fantastic) and she said no one had ever written up the work order. Tawny is the new property manager and she is very unprofessional. I have lived here for 2 years, always paid my rent on time, and she LAUGHED at me when I asked her for a rent decrease when it came to signing a new lease. She RAISED my rent… so if you plan on living here a while they will just continue to raise your rent… and I simply can’t afford to move at the moment. The apartments are okay, but the staff is just so unprofessional. One more year for me and then I am OUTOFHERE!!! I used to love living here but now I dread every time I have to deal with the leasing office.
