Spring Brook Dermatology

Came here today because I was looking for sort of a last-​minute appointment via ZocDoc and came across this place.
It was a good experience. The building is behind another one off of Roswell Road by the Prado and parking was very easy in its own lot. The décor inside is ridiculously cute. TV and plenty of magazines to keep you busy while you wait. The wait wasn’t long — I was the only patient there. So refreshing from the crowded wait rooms I keep experiencing!
Both the nurse and doctor were very personable and helped to keep me relaxed while I had a mole removed. The doctor took time to talk with me about how I didn’t need it removed and it would be expensive but I could do it. She also checked the rest of my moles which was a plus. I really liked that I actually saw the doctor that I booked with which doesn’t always always happen with ZocDoc. Sometimes it ends up being other staff and you don’t even get the same person every time.
The rooms are comfortable and seem to have new equipment. Keep in mind that at least for now while the practice is fairly new, they don’t have all the cosmetic doo-​hickeys that some other dermatologist offices have. I’ve been sort of dermatologist-​hopping for the past few years and I think now with this place I’ve found one I’d like to go to regularly. If I want IPL or anything like that again I can go elsewhere for that.
