20 minutes and I’m still waiting for my simple iced passion tea drink… It’s 50% off frappuccino happy hour I understand. But there is only 2 people making drinks and they continue to take orders… I’ve never waited this long for a drink at Starbucks before…

The slowest Starbucks ever… all the employees seen to have a relationship with other mall employees making the line slow as you can come!!!

I’ve got to hand it to this Starbucks. They did a great job handling the heavy Perimeter Mall crowd during our visit. Two workers were handling the registers and the single file line that led to both moved along nicely, never getting too long. Three other workers were preparing the food and drink orders. This Starbucks is located inside the mall on ground level, not far from Nordstrom and Von Maur. We ordered a tall Teavana Oprah Chai Tea Latte(12 oz, 150 calories) for $ 3.45 and a 23.7 oz. bottle of Ethos Water for $ 1.85. Both of these products were designed to make us feel good about buying them. Part of the sale of the Oprah Chai Tea Latte went to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation to benefit youth education. Part of the sale of the Ethos Water went to «helping children get clean water.» I read online that only $ 0.05 to $ 0.10 of each Ethos Water sale goes to charity and that Ethos, a Starbucks subsidiary, is primarily a commercial for-profit company. Oprah’s Chai Tea Latte was pretty good. The chai tea contained cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves blended with loose-leaf black tea and rooibos, sweetened and mixed with steamed milk. It was light, pleasant, mildly aromatic, and all-around satisfying. I would order it again. The Ethos Water was chilled and tasted fine. It served its purpose. This Starbucks has no seating. I’d almost consider it a kiosk, but it does have its own storefront/build-out. Fast, free Wi-Fi is provided by Google though I doubt it gets much usage since this store is a grab-and-go location. Handcrafted Fizzio sodas are offered here too.

I’m a big girl and have visited many, many, many Starbucks. I’ve never encountered a mean employee at Starbucks. Until NOW. Congrats to this location at the Perimeter Mall for being the first rude experience at a Starbucks for me. Woman was mean, charged me $ 1 more than what I’ve always paid for my regular order. My order was just off, and when I expressed that to her, she rolled her eyes at me, ignored me, and proceeded to the next customer in the very long line.

This Starbucks location is always. Busy. Proof is in the pictures. This location is right on the edge of the food court, essentially, which is super convenient while shopping in Perimeter Mall. However, they are not able to handle to massive load of customers. The baristas at the register had no problem taking our orders quickly, but the MASSIVE line to pick up our drinks was ridiculous. In addition, since the baristas are all so busy making the overload orders of drinks, no one is maintaining the bar with straws, sugar, milk and half and half. I took the last straw, and the lady behind me had to request a straw. So if you have 25 minutes to spare and are in dire need of coffee, this is the Starbucks to go to.

Starbucks, schmarbucks. We’ve all been, braved, bought. This one, though, is getting CN Attention because not only is it the first one at which I discovered the delicious brilliance that is the new tiramisu flavor you can add to any drink of your choice — but they Give. Out. Free. Samples. And they’re not stingy either. I mean, don’t be that person who tries to build a whole beverage with samples, but… I don’t think it’s just because of this Ridiculous. Cold. Weather that I endorse this new menu addition — I think it’s just Damn. Good. Go, get a freebie, decide for yourselves. And find out if other locations have it as well — I sure hope the ones I usually go to do. The slightly frothy dessert goodness is just too hard to avoid.

This Starbucks is inside the Perimeter Mall. They took my order quickly and were efficient. My pumpkin spice frapp was good. The store was a little on the dirty side. There were three people behind the counter. One should have been keeping the counter areas clean.

It’s a mall Starbucks like any other mall Starbucks, inside a mall like any other mall. You try to avoid this place around the November and December holidays, but sometimes you just need that fix. Sometimes this place gets so busy that the line wraps out and around and approaches the Auntie Anne’s line. Given that this is the only Starbucks in the mall, they are actually quite efficient. The space is small so the area where you wait for your drink can get a little cramped, but they generally do a good job of preparing your order. It’s a Starbucks like any other Starbucks, except on my last visit, I noticed that they now implement Google Wi-Fi( ), part of their transition away from AT&T. This is the first Starbucks I’ve seen it in(and I visit my fair share of Starbuckses), and it is SO much better( ). I find it interesting that one of the first implementations I’ve seen here in Atlanta is in a store where people aren’t likely to fully utilize the service, but I guess you have to start somewhere. This Starbucks has no seating and is just a stopping point to fuel those people moving from store to store, helping out our economy. Well done, Starbucks and Google. Now keep that rollout going.

The crew is fun & the place is clean. The coffee pricing is high so the rating was affected. I like the after hours changes being made at some locations there are some cool ideas the teams are putting together.

I love that they open earlier than most stores in the mall. The staff are nice and are normally pretty quick making your drink
