Student Consulting Group

Since 1998 my federal and state income tax was being seized by the Dept of Education for a student loan. I tried to resolve the issue that this was not my student loan but could not get anywhere. I actually went on line to look for the statuate of limitations on collecting this debt and found out that there is none, however I stumbled across the name of Mitch Colegrove and Student Consulting Group, and boy am I glad I did. I called Mitch and explained the situation and in a matter of a few calls, he had the situation under control, and stopped the insanity. I had literally been fighting with the dept. of Ed., for years, and even had gone as far as to reach out to one of my local congresswomen but was totally unsuccessful. I was actually told that you cannot fight the federal goverrnment and could never win this fight regardless of what proof I had that this was not my loan. The original loan amount was around $ 3500 but had escalated to over $ 17,000 due to late fees, penalties, etc. I had the proof that I had repaid the $ 3500.00, but could not get anywhere. I was resolved to just let them continue to seize my tax refunds, and refused to make any further payments, but was advised that at some point this could all effect the collection of my social security when the time came. I can’t tell you enough how grateful I am to Mitch and Student Consulting Group. They solved the issue with the Dept of ED., and found a way for me to repay this loan without actually sending any money. WOW!!! I can’t say that he can do the exact same for you, as every situation is different, but if you can’t afford to make your student loan payment, then you can’t afford to wait another minute to call Mitch Colegrove and Student Loan Group.
