This place is really very neat. Set at an odd street angle, the building has like 10 on-street parking spots and several lots around for guests, residences, and the people that work in the businesses. It’s got local businesses, hair salons, a boutique, apartment rentals/owners, and even seems to house several small(graphic design?) firms. There’s a really cool artistic kind of vibe going on, with lots of bricks, open space, and weathered and distressed architecture. It seems like a really cool, laid-back type of place to either shop or hang out, really minimal city noise, and a decidedly«hip» vibe. I just wish there were more businesses here, but that would probably annoy the people who live here.

this place is so cool and artsy. The businesses i have used are independently owned and offer personalized service. Its so clean and the parking is great.

Great potential. Needs a better variety of shops to be a true artist colony but for a live work facility with a funky vibe it’s nice.

My opinion is biased because I have my studio here — but this is hands down the best artist community in the city. Janke Studios, Serpas restaurant and so many other great destinations. If you haven’t checked it out and strolled the historic old cotton mill loft breezeway, make sure to check it out!
