I came in today for an early lunch. I was thinking of getting their $ 5 footlong, but they didn’t have that anymore, just $ 6 footlong. I saw a poster ad of a new sandwich called the Turkey Bacon Guacomole sandwich. I liked the sound of this combo, and even tho it was one of the pricier sandwiches for a 6″, I still thought it was worth it. BUT my 2 star rating is not due to the sandwich, but because of the service there. I felt like I was the only customer that who had the hardest time communicating with. I couldn’t understand what they asked me and they seem to just nod when I ask a question. I understand that the workers are probably not native English speakers, but this was beyond worse than other places. I first noticed that when my sandwich came out of the toaster to start the assembly of the veggies, the meat did not look like turkey and bacon, but more like chicken because they were cubed sized and not slices like in the poster. I asked the assembly person if it was turkey and she nodded. So ok… as she was adding veggies stuff to my sandwich, I was waiting for her to put the guac on, but she never did and I had to ask for it. She even gave me a surprised look when I asked for the guac. When I reached the cashier, I heard the assembly person tell the cashier what I ordered«turkey –something here that i didn’t make out — with added guacomole». That was the next red flag«added» because the sandwich should come with it at no extra charge. When I looked at my receipt, it said«Chicken Teriyaki» and the next line was«added guac». I was so confused. I asked the cashier if I really got my turkey bacon sandwich and he looked at it and said yes. I just left still feeling doubtful. When I went back to my office to eat it, it was indeed chicken and not turkey&bacon. Despite so many red flags going up during the order, I did make an effort to confirm with them, but that won’t work with so much misunderstanding going on between the workers themselves.

The product was fresh, BUT the service was not good. The fellow behind the counter said that tomatoes cost extra on a vege sub. I find it very difficult to understand that every other subway is happy to put any and all vege toppings on a vege sub but this particular one owned by Parimal Patel /Devu Inc was skimping on tomatoes unless I forked over more money! Bad business.

It gets pretty busy here around lunchtime and there is very limited indoor seating. There is some outdoor seating though shared by Subway and the other restaurants around it. The line moves pretty quickly and everything looks clean. Sometimes there’s a language barrier, but all the employees are friendly and efficient.
