Well, if you are at a hotel in downtown ATL at 2am and have no car nor want to leave your room, the choices on restaurants that deliver this late are very few. So my choice was between two Chinese places both w only 3 stars and pretty mixed reviews. So I chose the one with less«horror stories» on bad customer service and crosses my fingers! Pros: delivery was pretty fast, so I def was happy. Driver was friendly and my food arrived HOT!!! Nothing worst then getting cold food The chicken low mein was actually pretty delicious and tasty. Exactly what I wanted. Prices are very affordable and def not overpriced. Cons: miso soup as NO taste at all and the chicken egg rolls are DEFINITELY from the freezer!!! Overall 3 stars is a good rating. At least I don’t go to bed hungry or a belly full of cold food lol

I have dined inside twice. Both times excellent. Really good actually. But my delivery experiences were as if they are from another restaurant. Their delivery process seems to ruin the food by the time it gets to you … or they simply don’t use the same quality ingredients. My shrimp and lobster sauce with brown rice when I dined in had large tender pink shrimp, tasty white sauce, and fresh brown rice. But the shrimp and lobster entrée delivered had fewer smaller overcooked rubbery shrimp that had a brown color to them, the sauce was bland and somewhat brown(nothing compared to the sauce when I dined in) and over cooked brown rice. I will not order delivery from this restaurant again. And if I dine in again, I will certainly let them know about the negative delivery experiences.

Updating to four stars after eating here a handful more times, but beware the food is very hit or miss. Great: * Sweet and sour veggie chicken * General Tso’s veggie chicken Not so great * Veggie Chicken Curry * Spicy garlic veggie pork I’ll be sticking with the two I know are great and hesitant to branch out much, but those two are fantastic, and again the 3am delivery is a lifesaver.

This place has the absolute worst customer service i have ever seen. The main waitress literally walked off while I was placing my order to change the channel on the tv then had a nerve to get an attitude with me when I didn’t pronounce something right. The food is very bland and the texture of the meat feels like you’re chewing on year old rubber bands. Forget about asking for a refill on your drink because you’ll wait at least 20 minutes on that. The bathrooms are dimly lit and the floors are always wet. I’ve given this place a few chances but now I’m wondering why the health dept hasn’t shut them down.

Excellent service, nice folks, good quality food, clean place. If you are in the area and looking for typical American type Chinese food this is a good place to stop.

Tried the Panang Curry chicken and it was great! Sweet and Sour chicken is good along with the crab ran-goons. Su’s a texbook Chinese food spot. And delivery is sharp and on time, especially after the first time they deliver.

Su’s was cool until they forgot to deliver my food altogether once. I was willing to overlook this. They screwed up again when I ordered at about 10:30PM and they showed up with my food at 3AM, beating relentlessly on my door on a Monday night. Not cool. They screwed up yet again by bringing me a poor substitute for what I ordered(I ordered some chef’s special late night, and I got a container full of piping hot brown syrupy sauce, uncooked broccoli, and a block of uncooked ramen noodles — I kid you not). If you don’t cook late night, fine, just don’t offer late night service. The fourth and final chance I gave them, I ordered steamed pork mini buns, a dish I had ordered in the past, and what I got was 5 wontons(the kind you get in soup). Not okay when I am paying 9 bucks — I could have just ordered damn soup. The fact that they assumed this was a worthy substitute is something I can’t understand. Su’s went downhill in a bad way.

The quality of food here is half a step above what I would expect from a Chinese takeout place. Also, bonus points for being a greater after hours, drunk food restaurant. I was here at 3am Saturday night(technically Sunday morning) and it was really busy. Most of the patrons seemed to come from the gay bars in the same plaza. Even though it was busy, our food came out quickly and we saw the delivery guy scamper past is several times filling other orders. It’s also pretty cheap. I ordered an egg drop soup and it was around $ 1.

Pork dumplings were not fully cooked(not done in the middle). Moo goo gai pan used hammered processed white-meat chicken, and might’ve had tons of MSG(I’m one of those who cannot taste it, but I could almost taste taste it!)…nice veggies in there, though. Hot and sour soup was not hot, not sour, but was very salty, starchy, and just bad. Shrimp dumplings, fried pot stickers, and egg rolls were pretty good… …but not enough to absolve undercooked pork paste, inability to even follow a standard hot and sour soup recipe, or mangled sticky chicken in a $ 10 entrée. Avoid, since there are SO many better places. Sorry, Su…

The reviews for this restaurant aren’t bad but I had a horrible experience with Su’s. My friends and I ordered kung pao chicken, fried rice, and potstickers at 5:50pm and the food didn’t come until 7:30pm. The restaurant had told us it would take 45 – 50 minutes when we called, which was surprising because chinese restaurants usually don’t take a long time to deliver, and we live only three miles away from the restaurant. I called three times to check where my food was, and one time, the restaurant couldn’t even get in contact with the delivery guy. I am so disappointed with the service and quality of the food. After my complaint, the manager only gave me a measly $ 5 off of my meal. Both the customer service and food were subpar. There are so many options for chinese food in Atlanta; I definitely will not order from Su’s again.

We ordered pickup through Unilocal for pickup ASAP. Arrived 15 minutes later and were told we needed to wait another 5 – 10 minutes. 15 minutes after that we were finally given our food. A 10 – 35 min pickup time is a pretty ridiculous. The food was squished in the take out bag with the styrofoam containers buckling under the weight. The soup and sauces were spilling over and nothing was kept«safe» inside a plastic baggy. When we finally got to the food it was mediocre. The soups were(Wontop and Miso) left much to desired as did the Pad Thai. The General Tsao, Sesame Chicken, and egg rolls were good.

I ordered Su’s through Grubhub earlier this week and I was super impressed. The delivery man showed up less than 20 minutes after ordering, and it was some of the best Chinese food I’ve had on a budget. The lo mein was tender and had lots of flavor. The eggrolls were also great; not over-fried or impossible to bite into. Gotta give this place 5 stars for when you’re craving Chinese food at midnight!!!

Su’s Chinese is the best food you can ask for when you are craving for some American Chinese food or you are drunk and need a good greasy food which can help you with hangover next day. This is the Place you will not regret.

I’m giving Su’s Chinese Cuisine 4 stars based on location, hours of operation and quality of food which in my opinion can’t be beat for a late night Chinese spot in Midtown especially when you’re craving something other than The Waffle House or IHOP or McDonalds lol. Nice little quaint seating area too!

I eat late. GPS, a growling stomach, and an equal amount of curiosity about a Chinese place opened until 3am in the relaxed South got me here. Thick cigarette smoke was the universes first warning that this was not going to be a good experience. The second was another Unilocaler coming in to pick up her togo order. Her order was missing items and the waitress acted as if she didn’t believe she’s left out the missing eggrolls going as far as searching the woman’s bag to confirm that she has indeed forgot the items. I was disgusted as she handled her food with her unwashed hands. The food was hot and presented well but the General Tso’s chicken was mostly breading(tempura?). It was not the worst experience but could have been better.

Cancelled my order after waiting over 2 hours. Called them after an hour and they said they were otw. They proceeded to say the same thing every 20 minutes from that point. I found out later that they didn’t leave until at at least 100 minutes after order confirmation. They actually told the eat24 rep they tried to deliver at 110 minutes but nobody answered. I was sitting by the door messaging the rep the entire time. Shit happens, but don’t be dishonest. Wish this scale had a negative 5 Stars option. 1 just isn’t powerful enough.

We should have ordered from Lucky China, but I wanted to try something new. In my opinion, Su’s isn’t as good as Lucky China. We ordered the house shrimp spring rolls, fried fish sticks, shrimp in lobster sauce, spicy garlic bean curd with mixed vegetables and steamed rice. I couldn’t detect any shrimp in the spring rolls. I thought I could taste pork and I don’t eat pork. The fish sticks were like mini Mrs. Paul’s fish sticks. What was I thinking when I ordered fish sticks? The shrimp in lobster sauce was quite good, but the tofu dish was way too sweet. and not at all spicy. The food is edible, but not great. Delivery service was very prompt and friendly.

D.H. must have been stoned or drunk when he wrote this review. It’s good but nowhere near the best. I got a small order of wings and the General Tso’s dinner combo. The amount of food in the combo alone is insane. It comes with your choice of soup, two scoops of rice, an egg roll, fried wonton wrappers, and a hearty serving of chicken. It’s enough food to feed 2 people, maybe 3. The General Tso’s is pretty average tasting, but the hot and sour soup is good. I like the addition of green pepper and carrot in the chicken but it’s more breaded than I like, and not spicy at all. If anything it’s more sweet. I’m not a fan of fried wontons in general but my dog has eaten a couple and she is pretty picky. Egg roll is better than most places I’ve had, and I can see the vegetables which is nice(some places have egg rolls that look like mush on the inside). The wings are slightly better than average. I got the plain ones. They are on the smaller side. Overall this place is average. I got all the food for $ 15.99 and the two items together are enough to feed three people easily so it’s not a bad deal.
