Good Mexican food on this side of town is hard to find. But now that I’ve found this place I won’t have to look any further. Pork tacos are delicious and their portions are huge. Not your authentic Mexican place but hey when you’re hungry who cares.

Door says it closes at 9pm. The door and Unilocal must be WRONG as the two employees were walking at 7:59pm. The gentleman also gave us dirty looks for making comments about the sign saying they closed at 9pm, and then proceeded to give my husband a dirty look as he drove away as he parked in front of Johnny’s.

Best Mexican food in Atlanta is inexpensive and fast at this basically-furnished strip mall location.(Only negative was very loud bass thump through the walls.)

Been to Susi’s a few times and it’s been hit or miss. The misses weren’t terrible, just average. The tongue tacos are my favorite and never disappoint. The prices have gone up in recent months which is a little disappointing which moved me from 4 stars to 3.

Food quality has remained consistent but prices have not. Been visiting this restaurant for years & have seen 3 price increases. Today being the most recent price increase — Tacos which were $ 2 each are now $ 3. Chips & Salsa — extra $ 1.50. I ordered 2 chicken tacos, small drink, chips & salsa = $ 11.00(used to pay $ 6.50 previously) Several other options in the area which is more affordable. Avg lunch by my math = $ 12 + per person(drink + chips). I will not be repeating.

Best damn authentic Mexican food ever probably in the city based off of price. Service is always great with a smile and they dont mind adding extra chips or guacamole. Try the chimichanga or the nachos it is amazing.

Great place! The food was affordable, incredibly fast, and epically delicious! My friend and I stopped here after a day at Six Flags(10min drive from the park). She ordered the chicken tacos($ 2 each and a good size) and I ordered the chicken burrito. By the time we sat at our table with chips and salsa(very fresh delicious salsa), our food was ready. The sauce on the chicken tacos had a great spice and authentic tasty flavor. The best part for me was that everything comes with big helpings of guacamole and sour cream at no extra charge! Everyone who came in for takeout was out the door in a jiff. The restaurant was very clean also which was a major plus. Finally, our table had a great hot sauce next to the salt and pepper. Highly recommend this place for some yummy food!!!

Fast, good & cheap! Who says you can’t have all three! Had the Half Chicken Plate. Good and crispy chicken! Great Salsa too!

The tacos here are great. This place Reminds me of the taco shops when I was staying in New York & New Jersey. The food is Authentic and tasty. I had the beef, chicken, steak, and shrimp tacos and a beef burrito. Everything was delicious. The rice is amazing too. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone that wants a quick Mexican meal.

Great food. I ordered the Carne Asada and al pastor tacos. The al pastor was very crunchy, never have seen that before. I assume they were crunchy because no one probably orders them. Salsa was good, could’ve had more garlic. Good pricing, especially for the amount of food in each taco.

One of the most authentic Mexican places I’ve been in Atlanta. I’m from California so I know good Mexican food. I love their shrimp nachos. So delicious. The shrimp was seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Fantastic. Fresh jalapeños in the pico. You can see fresh cut tomatoes, onions cilantro in the salsa. Real chunks of avocado in the guac. The food was delicious, and service was fast!

This place is alright. It has potential to be better but it’s not there right now. I think the ingredients are mediocre quality and they position the place to serve a higher quality. I got a carne asada burrito, it was okay. I must say the best part of the burrito was the beans and rice. The rice is excellent it’s light and fluffy and full of flavor.

Awesome food. Shrimp grilled to order. Guacamole made fresh. Friendly staff. Limited seating at lunch. Parking limited with 5 restaurants in one strip mall. But well worth the slight inconvenience.

I’ve been dining at Susi’s since they first opened several years ago. The restaurant is family owned and operated and the owners know their customers pretty well. My order is sometimes known by the workers before I can even place it. The food is more of a San Diego Mexican flair from my knowledge but it’s pretty solid. My favorites are the fish tacos and fish salad on my healthy days… Otherwise, I may indulge on a shrimp quesadilla, chicken chimichanga or loaded burrito if I’m feeling naughty. All in all, this is my local go-to spot for quick, authentic Mexican.

So my friends doing fifty-eleven reviews reminded me that I haven’t reviewed this place. I have been a fan of Susi’s since they opened years ago. You can’t beat great mexican right down the street from the crib. Everything I have had has been on point-beef tacos, fish tacos, nachos-awesome. The fresh salsa and chips are great. Now I have to take my Illinois born-San Diego bred boyfriend there for the real test because he is a Mexican food snob. I like it though so that matters enough right now.
