Swerve Grille

The only reason why I gave it a 1, is because the actual place itself is nice and has nice setup. The customer service is awful.
Rewind: I stopped by the place for the first time and upon entering there was a sign saying «ask about having your event here». I spoke with one of the owners and scheduled my event in there upstairs private room. I was very excited because the place looked nice. My event was Sunday, and the previous Thursday, I dropped by and spoke with the other owner to let them know how I wanted the upstairs set up. He assured me that everything would be taken care of, and not to worry.
Fast forward: Day of the event I get there at 4pm, NOTHING was set up. Nothing was cleaned and there were still items from the night before. I was heated. My event started at 4:30 and I knew that people were about to start coming in. Needless to say they were brining chairs, tablecloths, and tables up while my guest were arriving. I had over 60 guest that had attended! Which I know brought them business because it was dead downstairs and plus the owner said that Sundays was a slow day for them. My guest loved my event but was upset about the customer service. The food was very small portions, too salty, or that plain just didn’t have it (like the fries). Upon my departure, no one came up and said thank you, is there anything we can do, sorry about the confusion. It was pure awful. It seemed to me that they didn’t care about repeat business or making money. What a total waste for such a beautiful space!

I was in there one night and OMG! Hood there was a fight going on bottle being thrown and I believe it was the female own! Will not go there again!!! It was my girlfriend’s birthday party it was a Mess! never again will I go here

I came down Saturday from Philadelphia to attend Swerve for a retirement party. To say the least the service was extremely inadequate. When it was time to leave, I paid with my bank card. The waitress held onto my card for 20 minutes. When my girlfriend asked to speak to the manager, the staff came off argumentative and unprofessional. One of the employees touched my girlfriend inappropriately as if she was attempted to skip on the bill. The lady threatened to call the police bc our bill was not paid. Not sure What she was doing all that time with my bank card, but I will be calling the bank first thing Tuesday morning. Unsatisfactory. Would Strongly NOT RECOMMEND to family or friends visiting or from the local area. Save your money and your time. It is not worth the confrontation, poor service, and physical touching for a C food rating establishment.

This DJ knows his crowd! The Hawks game just went off when came in and they were already deep in the dance stage. Barbie told us about the off menu special of Beer Battered Tilapia and Shrimp with delish sliced potatoes/​chips. Everything was fried hard… the way we do it and LOVE it up North. Kudos to our server Kia for being so cute and attentive the whole time. I’m thinking of making this my new ‘spot’ since it is in my South Fulton neighborhood!

I went there last night to watch the Falcons game. I like the atmosphere. They had a projector-​screen sized TV that was very conducive to watching a football game. I ordered salmon with rice. The food was very well seasoned. The service was very good. The servers were very attentive. I will definitely go back.

Horrible place… I wanted to like it … It’s about 4miles from home! Wasn’t greeted by staff… Bartender was not knowledgeable about bar specials. bartender very combative about the black and white menu… I didn’t argue just left… Worst service ever… Don’t waste your time

I took my girlfriend here on a Thursday night the food was amazing the was a loud gentleman at the bar but it was after 11 so it was a good bar atmosphere we had the hook which was $ 25 when it came it didn’t have a gasket just tissue the waitress told me she only had one gasket left so that’s why. The hookah was producing no smoke she later came and switched a gasket and still no smoke so we decided we would try the hookah next time even though Thursday night foot ball was on and we wanted a drink and to watch the game the bill came and the hookah was still on there I wanted to ask the waitress about it because we didn’t get to actually smoke it but she was to busy riding the hover board (2 wheel electric board) so I left money on the table and left this seemed like a wonderful spot in the neighborhood and maybe tonight was an off night the food was good though.

I did not enjoy this place at all. The waitress forgot my fries after I reminded her twice. I had finished my meal so I asked her to take the fries off my bill. Her response was «I can’t do that because it comes with the meal.» So she brings me fries as I am paying my bill to leave. I dined in and was served drinks in a plastic cup. When I asked the reason behind this the waitress informs me the crowd normally gets rowdy and they didn’t want any broken glass. So I will never be back there again.

Okay I am giving them kudos on the service and food. I would think about going back to try their regular menu because their Sunday menu is limited. Okay I am giving them a 2 star because on Sunday they have a DJ, which is cool but the music was entirely toooo LOUD. We were in a booth and we had to yell to hear one another. I would highly suggest the owner or manager suggesting to the DJ to play the radio edit version of songs instead of the ones with cursing in them.
In my opinion for the time of day and the area they are located in they play music to fit the environment. No problem with turning it up later that evening on Sunday but 4pm during the day, come on now. I know they are a few miles from Camp Creek and the music they play may go over quite well there but they aren’t.
Also to have your staff dancing near the dance floor is a bit much. I want to note that the couple sitting near us had the same complaint and were so ready to go.
Again very tasty food and a very nice and attentive staff.

I have been to the Swerve Grille twice. Yesterday was my most recent visit. The food was yummy both times that I have visited this restaurant. I had to give it 3 stars instead of 4 because although the food was good, the music was so loud you have to scream to have a conversation.
I asked the server if it was always that loud (especially since it was a Sunday) and she said yes. While standing at the door a group of 5 said that there was no way they could stay with that loud music and left. That was FIVE meals/​drinks that just walked away.
Again, the food is good but the music is way to loud on a Sunday.

I had a waitress at Swerve Grille Atlanta arguing with me and pointing to the menu about the $ 2.50 charge for another ounce and a half of marinara sauce for my mediocre calamari that she neglected to mention when I asked for it. When you deliver quality food that is still warm and delivered in a timely fashion you can get away with nickel and dimming customers, but when you do not, I do not think so. Swerve is not there yet which explains why there were no other customers there besides our party of 10. I try my best to trade in my community with small business proprietors, but when they let their staff get away with attitudes as though they are a five star restaurant., I cannot recommend them or consider returning for another pathetic experience… #FAIL #NEVERTORETURN
When a day later you are still pissed about the pathetic and disrespectful service you received with the automatic 20% gratuity and the rest of my party’s ongoing negative feedback continues, you know that the experience was a huge mistake. I am embarrassed for suggesting Swerve Grille to my family and cannot apologize to them enough for what we experienced on a special occasion that none of us will forget. Even after a conversation with the manager who offered apsolutely nothing whatsoever in compensation, $ 210 later all ten of us know we will never eat at Swerve Grille Atlanta again. This is why businesses in our community #FAIL

Happy hour 5 to 8. Great prices on happy hour food and drink. Food was good, waitress was very attentive. Really enjoyed myself.

Let me start off by stating that I am extremely shocked by a 70 health inspection score. I went in on a Tuesday. The establishment was very clean and welcoming. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a lady sitting at the bar, I sat at the bar the bartender Chancy was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the specials. I ordered the chicken tacos at first. They were only 2.00 pretty good and very fresh. I went to the restroom which was also clean, the same lady was in the restroom. I later found out that she was one of the owners. Barbie was so sweet she recommended items on the menu and have me the weekly line up. This was my first time. but will not be my last. the food is fresh and the service is great.

I was referred by a friend to check this place out. I began to order my food and noticed their restaurant health inspection grade was a 70/​C.
That’s one step down from a D grade. Until they bring their health inspection grade up to an A or B, I can not come back to eat! I don’t want to end up sick due to bad preparation, cleanness and storage.

Came here on 3/14/15(SAT) night around 10pm…
There was live entertainment, which was cool when the song wasnt getting butchered…
The service was not good. Took at least 30−40min before we got our food. They have a special menu that you can only order from after 10pm… The food was good tho… to say the least. Also had enough for left overs. The drinks were also pretty as well.
There is an upstairs open deck area too, didnt check it out tho…
Came here with a Groupon which was good.

The ONLY reason this place gets 2 stars vs 1 is because I actually liked the food. However, the service was absolutely horrible and because of the service I probably wont return unless its for someone’s special occassion. Ok so I didnt know this place even existed until some friends mentioned the groupon. It was a Saturday night and we were hungry with no other place in mind to go at the time. We decided to check it out. So me and the boo met up with another couple who had been there about 20 – 30 mins before us. They’d ordered and for some reason one of them received their side but was still waiting on the entrée. Weird– I’ve never seen sides get served first and at that 20 mins before the entrée. So the waitress finally came about 10 mins after we got there and told her they didnt have any menus– she had to find one. When she finally brought out a menu she brought one for us to share– okay no biggie. Sharing is caring. So as we browse the menus, some other unidentifiable lady (not dressed like a manager nor wearing a name tag) came to our table and rudely let us know that we cant order from that menu now and she took it and gave us a smaller, laminated menu without explanation of why we cant order from that menu. The waitress came and we told her and she seemed confused. (So obviously she was new. Idk how new but nevertheless she should have been more informed before servicing customers). So she went and got more info and told us that there is a different menu after 10pm. So we managed to order from the small menu. After about 30 mins I asked the waitress when would our food be out. She says about another 20 mins. I’m looking like wtf! However the food was actually out about 5 mins later. Shortest 20 mins ever! The best part of my food was the chicken rolls. They were really good. The tilapia sandwhich was just okay. The fries were good. The boyfriend had the turkey ribs which he seemed to like. The waitress only came back to check on us like once right after getting the food. Afterwards she seemed to be m.i.a until time to pay. There was a band and and then regular dj music after. The band was good but we could have done without the lady singing. The crowd coming in for the most part was maybe 35+. There was some private party going on upstairs so many of the older crowd went upstairs. After leaving we stood outside to talk for a bit and noticed more and more clubby dressed people coming up so I guess its like most other bar & grille type places that turn into a lounge after 10. I just ate my leftover chicken rolls and they still tasted good. But like I said earlier, that bad service and rude manager was a big turn off.

Happy hour is really affordable and they have hookah!!! I got great service amazing service. I didn’t eat the food but I hear the food is great

This place was absolutely phenomenal. I was looking for a nice place to eat and drink and literally came across this by pure luck. I needed to turn around and wound up in a little plaza that had an illuminating light on that read «Swerve Grill» and I’m so happy I did. Although, there was no hostess at the door I understood why. There wasn’t much traffic coming and going. What a shame… Music was SUPERB, food was GREAT, and the drinks were spectacular. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and turkey sliders for starters. On my first bite of the sliders I knew everything was going to be good because it was hot, fresh, and flavorful. As an entrée I order a honey glazed citrus salmon w fried rice and a salad. It was great. My friend and I stuck around to enjoy the music and a hookah. Service was good and I hope this place stays in business. They need better marketing because I would have passed by had it not been for that u turn I made. By the way, this place has a huge TV to enjoy any game.

Service is great in both locations! Nice music a mixture of R&B club music and rap! Nice crowd 21 and up!
