NEEDS A LITTLESOMETHING! This was the first food truck we decided to try while at the food truck event in Sugar Hill. We ordered a chicken taco, black beans and a beef empanada. The soft taco was a bit bland but had generous serving of fresh chicken and veggies. The beans and empanada were just okay but mostly the food was just boring and under seasoned. I expected more flavor and maybe a little spice since the owner mentioned that he is originally from Puerto Rico. It wasn’t horrible, it is just not something I would pay for again. I just prefer a higher flavor profile. My husband agreed with my assessment.

I visited the Taco Buggy while it was at the Food Truck spot off Howell Mill. I wasn’t impressed at all. You go to a food truck for cheap, great food. I did not experience either. I paid $ 9 for 3 tacos. I gave the guy a $ 20 and he gave me back $ 10. I guess he thought he should tip himself. I asked the cook to choose his personal 3 favorites or best selling. I was given the steak, pork and a chicken taco. The tortillas were terrible. They were straight out of a sale rack from the Food Depot. Dry, hard and stale. Actually I could say that about all three meats. This was a bigger problem because I was the first customer of the day, 11:30AM. You would think I would get the freshest they had right? Nope. The only saving grace was that the toppings and sauces keep me from giving this review 1 star. I would pass on this, there are plenty of better food trucks, taco joints, and handfuls that are cheaper.

I like this truck because the tacos are fresh and filling! They dont skimp on the ingredients. You know how once you become a regular at a spot you start to enjoy the perks of your repeat patronage? Well, EVERYONE gets the perk at this squatty little truck! Every time I visit the tacos a packed full of favor. The Chipole off the old block is my favorite. Next would be the sex on the beach, love the fresh mango. The stinkin’ incan was good but the string potatoes were«comme ci, comme ça.» The Ricky Bobby was alright, might be good with pork. Didnt try the Dirty Sanchez due to the horrible image I get in my head. =) You gotta try this truck, very very good.
