Taqueria at Supermercado el Sol

Our friend from UPS has recommended this place over and over to everyone here in our company religiously every time he stops by to drop off a package. Now, I see what the hype is all about! We have converted!
This place is located inside the supermarket, and you can spot it soon as you walk in. It’s got it’s own waist high fence to separate itself from the market itself. The man that helped me order my food was extremely gracious and patient with me. We had a minor language barrier, but he was able to help me since i’m on a diet and also allergic to lots of things. Finally after asking about everything on the menu, he was able to ultimately customize fish tacos for me for $ 1.99! Inside the box, were three tacos with fish fillets inside with a side of baby turnips. cilantro, halved limes, and fresh white onions. I also ordered nachos because that’s what our friend was obsessed about. We got steak nachos and it literally filled up the entire to go box! It was loaded with sour cream, pickled jalapenos, beans, and tomatoes. It was definitely worth $ 6.99 and can be shared with up to 3 people as an appetizer or 2 people as a meal.
I will definitely come back here again because it’s right down the road from my work and it was fast and the food was fresh!

Quality Taqueria lunch and dinner located inside a new Mexican supermarket. There is a broad menu of entrees including chicken, shrimp, steak, etc. Plus tacos, of course. I lucked out and had Posole which seemed to be one of the three specials of the day.
