The Creative Circus

I don’t have enough great things to say about the circus. From the faculty to my fellow classmates to administration to the general staff, everyone here wants you to succeed and will do everything possible to help get you there.
Before attending the circus, I had graduated with a degree in Advertising from UGA, and the only interview I had lined up was for a cleaning company. Now, 2+ years later, I’ve attended a design boot camp in London, gotten an amazing job up in New York, and know that I’m well-​prepared for any opportunities that may come my way. And it’s all thanks to the circus.

If you want to get into advertising, photography or design, this is hands down the best place to learn how. The Creative Circus is full of smart people who know how these industries work, and will teach you their ways. If you’re open to what they tell you, this place will change your life and make your career. Period. Best decision I ever made!

After finishing high school early, I floated aimlessly for a year, then came here.
I worked super hard and learned everything I could about design, the industry, and the people.
I got a job 2 months out of school. And continue to get jobs with my experience and networking from The Circus.
If you’re thinking about gong to The Circus. DO IT!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE ON EARTH.
Seriously though, it’s amazing. Attending the Circus was the best decision I ever made. And you may never meet a better guy in your life than Mr. Norm Grey.

The best place to turn your weird thoughts into an advertising career.

The Circus changed my life.
I transferred to The Circus from Portfolio Center and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The Circus opened so many doors for me and introduced me to friends and creatives that I’ll respect, admire and work alongside for the rest of my career. If you put the work in, you’ll not only graduate with a killer portfolio, but with THE job you want at the agency you’ve always dreamed of. Circus for life!

I don’t know where I’d be without this place.
Probably sad in a direct marketing firm making cold calls and eating Cheetos.
Okay maybe not that bad but yeah.
Going to college alone is just not enough to build a good book, in my opinion. And The Creative Circus is the place to be if you wanna go to portfolio school. (And have people constantly asking you, ‘wait whaaat? where do you go to school?’)
I didn’t just build a book there, though. I met some amazingly talented, super smart (so smart they’re intimidating at times but also awesome) people, and made connections. People say your college friends are ‘for life,’ but honestly, my Circus friends are the ones I’ll never forget.
Plus, the people are really nice. Very low asshole population.
That is saying something.
Also, they didn’t pay me to write this.

Going to the Creative Circus was the best decision I’ve ever made. The rigorous and interesting curriculum with the support of the incredibly talented faculty and staff fostered the most creative environment I’ve been fortunate to be a part of.
I was constantly surprised how talented everyone was around me, from the students and teachers. And they really teach you above all how to be an independent thinker and never settle, or as is common echoed through the halls: «Great is never good enough.»
The founder of the school, Norm Grey, is one of the sweetest and most intelligent guys you’ll meet. He’s also easily accessible, as are the rest of the staff and faculty which is really important as you build relationships and mentors.
Not only did I get a job quickly out of school because of the Circus, but I’ve continued to meet alumni throughout my career and across the country that have formed an unspoken kinship. Having the Creative Circus on your resume is like having an Ivy League on your resume for Creatives.
If you are serious about a Creative career, this IS the place to truly find yourself.

This is such an inspiring place. Interior wall are covered in awesome. If you are considering attending or want more information they have a ton of open houses so you can really see the school for yourself. The admissions and admin staff is extremely kind and helpful.

What an interesting and inspiring place! Teachers and students alike are some of the most fascinating personalities I’ve had the opportunity to learn from. The Circus gives students a clear picture of the Ad industry today by connecting us with professionals from all over the nation. It’s not only a great place to sharpen skills, it’s networking at it’s finest. (and funnest)
