A friend and I were walking around and stumbled upon this coffee and jewelry shop. The two women working that day were very warm and welcoming, and were blast to chat with. I had a small cappuccino. Espresso wise it was good, but it didn’t have quite enough foam for cappuccino status. It was also topped with cinnamon, which I loved. My friend had an upset stomach and was looking for seltzer water. They had just picked up some Kombucha(which I love but she had never tried before) at the farmers market. One of the women suggested the kombucha for my friend so she purchased the strawberry mint. Her stomach ache went away not too long after and now she loves kombucha too. Also, they have great seating options inside!

What a cute little café and shop. We stopped in because I was needing something to drink. The owner and café employees were both very sweet. I love the fact that they’re baked goods were from different businesses around town; They went to farmers market’s and local bakeries. Very creative to distribute goods to different areas of downtime. I tried my first Kombucha, a fermented iced tea with tons of probiotics. It was amazing and perfect for my upset stomach. I think it would be the perfect place to study if I were a student. Btw they sell individual pumpkin pies that President Bill Clinton comes to Atlanta for. Didn’t try but they looked yummy.

Customer service was OK, when I walked to the snack counter, near the ice cream in the back of the store. The young lady behind the counter looked as if I was disturbing her from doing something better than serving a customer. She was friendly and not rude which I greatly appreciate I just wouldn’t say I received 5 star service but the store is a cool little spot if your looking for a quick snack or a gift for a friend and it’s located near where the street car travels so that’s pretty cool.

Amazing! Cute little shop! The owner is super friendly and the prices were actually good. The ice cream was served in big portions. I had the sweet peach Sunday. This is also a coffee shop. I would love to go back in the morning and try one of the expresso shots over ice cream. If you are in the downtown area, this place is a must!

Work right around the corner, never stopped in before because from the outside I thought it was just the hotel’s novelty shop for t-shirts, post cards, etc. Its summer time and I was craving ice cream, didn’t feel like walking to CNN Center, got on Unilocal and saw that The Letterbox had ice cream & shakes(once I got there I also found that they have smoothies, iced & hot coffee, sodas, juices, water, baked goods, and other snacks too). Got a waffle cone with peach ice cream & cookies and cream. Peach ice cream is so good & refreshing in this Atlanta heat! Cookies and cream was good too, but next time I’m getting 2 scoops of peach. Guy working counter was very nice, thanked me for stopping by. Will definitely be returning soon!

Managed to wander into this neat little coffee shop jewel in downtown Atlanta after a long journey from Boston. I was in need of coffee for the next leg of the trip but wow is it hot down here. The lovely lady at the front counter recommended instead a coffee milkshake with a few shots of expresso for good measure. Delicious! I checked out the little shops offerings, it’s attached to a hotel so it had a few other odds and ends, some jewelry too. Super friendly service and quick too, wifi was available and I could charge my poor phone. Check it out!

We were directed here by one of the city’s ambassadors because I was having an ice cream craving. This is NOT the place to satisfy an ice cream craving. They offer 8 flavor of breyers ice cream. I’m not a fan of breyers ice cream but my husband is. We both agreed that the ice cream tasted icy like it was old. They do offer smoothies and coffees which may have been the better choice.

This is a nugget located right in the middle of downtown. The other local coffee shops are crowded, and this place is a real haven to get some work done, while enjoying Lavazza coffee. The chocolate muffin was fantastic with an Americano — and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended.

The staff is very friendly and they have nice greeting cards. They also sell food, drinks, and many convenience items. I will stop in here on my lunch break!

This is a cute little place — the staff were extremely friendly, and I had a yummy little pecan pie pastry that was just heavenly after it was popped in the microwave for a few.

BLUEBERRYPIE it’s just a small version of blueberry pie, personal size… So perfect… Especially when you get a scoop of vanilla ice cream on it. CHAILATTE really good chai latte. Is not always consistent cause sometimes she adds more chai but it’s delicious either way. STORE is kind of an old school general store/souvenir shop combined in one. I really think it should be more of a café than shop but it’s a cute place nonetheless.

A quaint little General Store with a small café’ tucked inside called The Letterbox. You can sit & read the paper, people watch from the large picture window, or shop for anything from teapots to Q-tips! A fun little store with a casual café’. Treat yourself to a cool Espresso Shake(I prefer vanilla ice cream, soy milk, no caramel), a homemade cookie, smile and enjoy!

I’ve had the tropical escape which is fresh and fruity — mango, pineapple, strawberry, peaches. I’ve had the espresso shake which is chocolaty and powerful. I have brought my stack lunch and eaten it there, and they’re cool with that. I’ve also found this convenient when I needed an aspirin and a coke. One of my colleagues likes to come here for their espresso and cappuccino. This is right down the street from the Peachtree Center MARTA rail station on the SW side, next to the Residence Inn… Down from the quizno’s. I love supporting these cool, unique, local businesses over the mega-chains.

Cute little store! We went in because we were walking and these two guys passed us with yummy-looking smoothies. Well, it was a really hot day and my coworker asked them where they got the drinks. A few steps later, we arrived at The Letterbox. There were no other customers inside. The cashier and drink maker is extremely friendly and she even gave us suggestions for places to visit. All three of us ordered a the Tropical Escape smoothie; this option included largest variety of fruits. They also have coffee, ice cream, and other dessert items. While the drinks were being made, I walked around the small shop. They have an assortment of souvenirs and miscellaneous stuff and randomly, a selection of household items along a wall. My smoothie tasted tropical and fruity. Refreshing, but after 1⁄3 of the drink I was kind of over it. Lovely charming historic general store, but I get the feeling that sadly many people probably overlook it.

very charming little place that is very inviting. There are touristy-items(like t-shirts, hats, mugs — standard stuff) but also some unique items(like custom made(so it seemed) jewelry, cards, etc.) — but I stopped for the coffee. Seemed like a better option than the nearby Starbucks and was not disappointed. I had a great latte, double-shot of Lavazza espresso and it was nice and hot and perfectly foamy. It was better than a Starbucks latte and cost less — can’t beat that! And the service was genuine-friendly, unlike Starbucks which always feels fake/insincere to me –as though the brand-marketing folks force them to act a certain way with staff.

Family owned — great disposition the owner possessed. Part café n part slightly disheveled boutique… All the same, found some lovely earrings to sport at McKendrick’s tonight;)!

I’ve hopped back on Unilocal to let people know how lucky downtown is to have The Letterbox. Poor seagulls in line at Starbucks! The coffee is less expensive and just as tasty at The Letterbox. The shop also offers a selection of indie cards for many occasions: Congrats, You Had a Baby; Sorry for Being an Asshole; and the classic Happy Birthday. In addition to beverages, snacks, lotions, and greeting cards, The Letterbox sells a little collection of household items including lavender AirWick. I bought a can for my office to spray every time I fart. Yes, please step into my office.

This place is ADORABLE. I had read about it somewhere or other on the internet recently, so when a coworker and I happened by it on our way to Dunkin Donuts we decided to stop in here instead. I am *so happy* we did. It’s the cutest little store, and is full of charming and whimsical gifts(including an awesome supply of fancy cards), and, as it turns out, TODIEFOR tiny pecan pie. I was advised that the very best way to have it is warmed up and under ice cream, and while I have no doubt that’s absolutely true, I suspected tiny pie a la mode might not survive the walk back to my office. I also got an awesome chai latte, and was desperately tempted by some local honey(with comb in the jars!). In short, definitely stop in if you’re in the area.
