I agree with the other positive reviews. This is a great alternative place to meet for coffee or tea. It’s quite and relaxing. Also a nice solace place to work on your laptop. The café has a limited menu, so I wouldn’t recommend as a place for a sit down, it’s more for snacks and boxed salads.

Not what we expected from the reviews here! It’s a dirty, convention space in a church trainIng building for the student ministry. Service was mediocre, short staffed but server really trying to please. Under new management.

This is a great little café! We got to park in a parking garage which is only a two minute walk to the café, so the car wasn’t overly hot when we went back to it. Everything is reasonably priced and made to order… not to mention delicious! The staff were so friendly and appeared as though they actually enjoyed being there! The atmosphere was quiet but there were quite a few customers. I could totally study there or take friends to catch up and chat. The couches and other seats were numerous in style and comfort. My mother and I went while we waited for the girl she nannies to finish a doctors appointment. I would absolutely go back given the opportunity.

Fast internet, spacious table space, plenty of seats, quiet, never crowded. I absolutely LOVE this spot as place to work for a change of scenery. The coffee is not that good though, and the food is average, but that’s not why I come here. You don’t find too many places in the city like there where you can lounge in quietness with a fast wifi connection.

I almost don’t want to draw too much attention to this place because of how great it is. I never knew of its existence until recently when I attended a team meeting for the new consultancy that I am doing part-time work with. I had never heard of the place nor had I noticed it in driving(though truthfully, I am not in this neck of the woods too frequently). There is a small menu, much like you would expect of any coffee shop. The neat thing that makes it better than most coffee joints is the large, open space with numerous seating options. You can sit at a booth with your team or by yourself or you can nix the whole table thing and sit in comfy sofas. Whatever gets the neurons firing up for you. Or maybe you are coming to check your social media accounts or play games. Whatever you need to have some sitting space and free Wi-Fi for, you will find the Lodge Café will more than fit your needs. Some words of wisdom, to make the experience as enjoyable for you as for others: be respectful of others and their need to pseudo-privacy and some semblance of quiet. I understand this is a public place and as such, nothing can be help in sacred secrecy. What I am sure we were all taught something about being decent so try not to eavesdrop deliberately and don’t be disruptive either. Oh, and did I say anything about the fireplace? Wait, there’s no fireplace. There’s no warm, cozy place with a roaring fire for you to sit in front of. None at all. You didn’t read this review. You’re not going to hog all the spots in front of the fire. The imaginary fire. Last thing to throw in. I got a Mexican hot chocolate the last time I was here and no, it did not involve any spicy pepper. It had orange peel and cinnamon or something similar and it was actually delicious. So another point for the Lodge Café.

A hidden secret in the middle of Buckhead. This is a facility associated with the Presbyterian Church, but they welcome all. I have used this place(which sells coffee, tea, food, etc.) for meetings as well as work sessions for a couple of years now. Free parking, fireplaces, wi-fi…damn. Hey, Catholics, we need to kick our game up a notch or twelve!

Great place to grab coffee, do some laptop stuff and meet for business. Very low key and well managed place. The menu is small but the atmosphere makes up for it. You have to pay close attention when riding trying to locate it because it’s sooo quaint, you may pass it like I did.

The Lodge Café, located across from Peachtree Presbyterian on Roswell Rd is kind of a hidden gem. Despite being owned by the church and housing church work space on the upper floors, the Café is open to the public. The seating is plentiful. They have a mix of large and small tables, giant(seriously) booths, plus comfy sofas and chairs. The giant stone fireplace is usually crackling during the chilly months and there is nice patio furniture for outdoor enjoyment. The pool table is free to use, free wifi and they serve coffees, teas and a light assortment of sandwiches, wraps, salads and other goodies. The hours are kind of weird and they are closed on Saturday, but it’s perfect for anyone who wants a mid-week escape from the bustle of Starbucks. While you won’t find the same extensive selection of specialty drinks, you can get the basics and it won’t break your wallet. There is a parking garage located behind the Lodge, so parking is never an issue. Fun Fact: From the lower level of the Lodge, you can walk through a tunnel built under Roswell Road that takes you right into the church!
