This place must have changed names. Think it’s called La Sabrosura. That’s what the menu says but my Español is a little weak right now so I couldn’t ask the cook/waitress. There’s four tacos you can order so I tried all four. They are bangin’. This is real Mexican food. Used to live in la and would eat from all the taco trucks. This place is exactly like them. The only thing was the menu only consisted of the first page. I’m fine with that. That’s all I would order anyways. They also had wings. Will def come back. Oh yeah, under $ 10. Beat that.

Shrimp tacos Americana were freaking amazing! It’s a dive and and parking is limited but it’s really great and the staff was friendly. First timers tip: when you go in and plan to eat there just sit at a table and they will bring you menus. A lot of people were ordering at the counter off a limited menu but there is a full one.

Stopped in randomly a few weeks ago and I’m glad I did. This place is the real deal, tacos are better than my Buford Highway staple, El Taco Veloz. Way better. I know, it seems crazy but there it is. Tacos pastor(spicy marinated pork) are amazing. Also give the chorizo tacos a go. I’ve had tortas a few times as well. Fresh baked bread and all kinds of delicious.

OK, so I’ve been there half a dozen times and can give some updates. Still not had anything other than the tortas. This place is beyond casual, to the point where«service» is almost an afterthought. But that’s ok in the end because you get what you need and the sandwiches are fantastic. One of the best La Cubana Tortas I’ve had in Atlanta(right after the one at Taqueria Oxacana in Jonesboro). Sometimes you get chips, sometimes not. Sometimes it comes with avocado, sometimes not. Just roll with it and enjoy some amazing sandwiches. They do actually have Torta ahogada, a pork sandwich(similar to Carnitas) dunked in a spicy red sauce. It’s not on the menu but they will make it if asked. It’s worth asking for. Bottom line, not worth a drive across the city but if you find yourself in East Atlanta and you gots a hunger…
