When you wait 6 months after youve already paid a company for their work and call a former employee who doesnt even work for the company anymore to complain about a small portion of the service 6 months after the fact, what kind of response were you looking for? What you dont know because you are ignorant of the facts is that the contractor who did your stumps does stump grinding for a number of companies in the metro area, He has a very good reputation, and he did your stumps the same as he would have done any other customers stumps. Your misguided expectations and failure to actually contact the current management of the company are on you. You are way out of line, bashing us after the very cheap price, and great job taking down all your trees in the first place. At least tell the whole truth if you wanna discuss our performance.

This company hired Johnathan Dallam to go to customers homes, despite his multiple charges/​conviction of prowling, loitering, falsifying crimes, and theft of services. He showed up and gave me a quote, on behalf of TreeXpert, to remove tree debris same day. I payed him, then left for work. He never did the work. I called the company, and they said there’s nothing I can do because they never received the money Johnathan got from me, and that despite him being on the clock and quoting me on behalf of their company, he was acting on his own. Luckily all my calls are recorded; I have him (Johnathan) acknowledging receipt of payment… Charges being filed today. Here is his record:

I paid 4600 for 13 trees to be removed in my front yard and a few other trimmings. Jason, when negotiating the overall price, said he needed to charge 50 dollars per stump to grind them. You do the math: I paid 650 dollars just for stump grinding.
However, they did not do a good job grinding the stumps, and I wonder if the stumps were ground at all. They covered the stumps with a lot of wood chips, generated by grinding the tree trunks, and each stump turns out to be a little hill on my yard.
Because I never had trees removed before, I thought the height of the stumps left was way they were supposed to be. However, now I am contracting a company to put grass on my front yard and they cannot do it because the stumps are all over the place.
I called Jason again after 5 months his crew did the tree removal (and supposedly the stump grinding) to ask him to come and re-​do the stump grinding, since it was poorly done and I cannot put grass the way the stumps were left. He said something like: the contractor I hired to do your stumps is doing work back in Mexico. What do I have to do with the fact that whoever he contracted is not in Atlanta anymore (considering this is true)? I should not care about who he will get to come to my house and do the job. What he should do is get any another contractor that works with him to come to my house and get the job done, since I paid 650 dollars specifically to get 13 stumps ground to ground level. Although he said he was going to see what he could do, he never even once called me when he said he would. I called him 3 different times and texted a few other times, and not even ONCE he got back to me.
I should warn you that if you think what they did was fair and you still decide to do work with TreesXpert after reading this review, make sure you get the stump grinding with another company, since they just pocket the money and don’t seem to do a good job of grinding — or maybe don’t do the grinding at all. I wasn’t home to see them doing the job most of the time (I was at work), so I can’t say for sure if they really did some grinding or not. I’m not a TREE XPERT! And they don’t seem to be either!!! Don’t fool your customers!!!
Now I will have to pay AGAIN to have my stumps removed!!!

I called these guys at 830pm on a Friday b/​c by that time my cat had been in a tree for 36 hours straight in 30 degree weather. By 930pm my cat was comfortably sleeping on the couch. Thank you so much!!! Will recommend and use if I ever need again
