Went in for a massage that was purchased for me as a gift. I, as with others, was taken aback by the location, which is in a medical building. I didn’t like the building. I went on a Saturday, so it was kinda deserted, and old and, I’ll admit, a bit scary being in there by myself. I had a morning appointment and guess what? Nobody was there when I arrived. UHOH!!! I had to wait for you to show up??? Not a good look. I was very annoyed. However, when the lady showed up, which was about ten minutes late, I accepted her apology and decided not to let it ruin my time. The massage was pretty good, though I wanted her to apply a little more pressure and get to the muscle. Maybe I didn’t order the right massage. Other than that, I enjoyed myself and I felt like mush afterward, a good thing. It was very comfortable and cozy inside the suite. I really liked the décor. The masseuse was very nice and pleasant and she really wanted me to be comfortable and enjoy my experience. That was apparent. I probably won’t return because I really hate that building(yeah, that much). It brings me down and I need to be up when I’m about to get a massage, ya dig?

I recently found a great deal on living social and purchased a 1.5 hr massage for both my fiancé and myself. The location of this place totally threw me off, it’s definitely not your typical spa. I was a little confused when my gps led me to an office building. I walked in however and found that trusted hands day spa was in fact located in the office building. The good. –the staff is really friendly –Sasha listened to my concerns and really focused on my trouble areas. –the deal I got from living social –the heated neck pillow The bad. –it didn’t smell like a typical spa –the massage room was too bright for me(there were blinds in the room that were left open to let the sunlight in). I’m used to dimly lit massage rooms. –the sound of the leaf blowers outside

I came here on a Living Social deal for a 90 minute massage. The spa does offer other services — ionized foot bath, infared light service, and some sort of chi releasing room(yea I don’t know what that means either) The Pros: Clean, quiet, well organized. Joy is very nice, and very attentive. Her massage was very relaxing and she does incorporate stretching. The rooms are also larger than other spas I’ve been to. The Cons: The location is a bit bizarre — it’s in a medical building which was kind of difficult to find, and the building itself doesn’t have a doorman who can help you with directions. My only complaint is that Joy is a bit on the talkative side, but I think that’s a personal preference. All in all a solid four stars!

Joy is amazing. She genuinely loves her work and it shows. Her massages are never the same and she does great stretches that help really relax your muscles so the massage lasts longer. The staff is always friendly. I knocked them one star because they frequently lock the door to the business when there is only a few clients but you have to stand in a very narrow and stuffy hallway until they let you in. Not exactly how I want to start my relaxtion time. However, once you walk inside and get one of Joy’s massages, you will soon forget there is any problems in the world.
